The service was Extremely bad. I placed an order on Grub hub with detailed notes asking for no meat because I am vegetarian. Instead of calling to confirm or deny the ability to change the food order, they made the meal with all meat. I called for a refund and or Change of food and the worker there was extremely rude. I waited until my second time before I wrote a review. Lots of places that do a fusion of things aren't usually that good, but I've gotten a chicken shawarma plate, and burger the last couple of times and it hit the spot both times. The burger is the best burger I've had in a long time. The sauce they put on it is delish, and it's so juicy! I told my boyfriend about it, and he was throughly impressed when I got him one today. He devoured it in seconds. The plate the first time I got it was covered in sauce, but it was good. The chicken was a little dry, but that's fine for me as you can dip it in the hummus. The salad has a light salad dressing that doesn't over power the dish. Plus is so affordable! I've only been to this Alhambra location, and am scared to try any others as I see them all over town now. But this place is good. Check it out, and ENJOY! read more

This was our first time hereand we feel bad writing a bad review . But this place was filthy and the food has no flavor really. The young man at the register was nice. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and yet the tables were dirty, and the floors the same. We asked for ketchup and were given an empty bottle with maybe 1 squeeze of ketchup, and were told there was another bottle on another table. That bottle was empty too. No soap in the bathroom. The soda machine I think was not working, because the sierra mist tasted like water. Overall I am not sure what it is, but it was not good, so sorry. I did not even eat my meal, I just threw it away. SO GOOD. Food is always fresh, veggies are crisp and special sauces are fantastic. Also a great local place to get an awesome basket of curly fries! It might be a chain, but it has the pride of ownership of a locals joint. Not a comfy place to hang out - the inside is more like a Subway sandwich place - but the food and service are great. It's not good, the tables were dirty and even the chairs were sticky. I ordered a gyro and the although the beef had nice flavor the produce was not fresh and it was a bit too heavy with sauce. The balance of ingredients was not great. I'm giving two stars because the guy working the counter was a nice lad but not sure this place has it quite figured out yet. read more

YES, food was EXCELLANT, I had the veg. falafel plate and the veggie quesadilla. BUT, apparently they do NOT have a requirement for mask wearing??? It is a very small place and there were 5 of us waiting for our take-out, and some woman walks in w/o a mask, places her order then hangs out waiting with the rest of us, MASKLESS!!! When my food was ready I asked the counter guy about the woman w/o the mask. He said that he hadn't noticed she didn't have a mask on, and that he "thought" that they had a sign up somewhere??? I've been a fan of Falafel Corner for some time, and had visited three other FC locations before making my first visit to this one, which opened in September 2020. I'm happy to say this is my new favorite. Each location has the same menu, but there are some variations in the quality of the food and the experience. We tried the chicken platter and the falafel platter at the Alhambra location. The chicken platter had more meat, larger pieces, and a bit more flavor than the still-generous portions I've had at other FCs. The falafel platter was very good at all four locations. The pita was warm and fresh, and the server was friendly and helpful, volunteering to offer extra hot sauce and tzatziki. The prices are also slightly lower here than the still very reasonable prices at the J Street and Natomas FCs. I'll be back. read more
