A burger shouldn't make you feel depressed.

Service was fine. Nice counter service. Quick to get my to go order. Hamburger definitely looks 100x better on their menu board. Are the onion rings a joke? I opened this up. (See pic)

Philly wrap with chicken. Definitely recommend if you are craving something like a Philly.

First time I went here, I tried the Philly wrap with chicken. It was DELICIOUS . Went here again the next week and we got the double cheeseburger and chicken platter. Again, VERY GOOD! I do recommend all those items. Great service and great food.

10/6/2022: Combo meal, i.e., breakfast, brunch, lunch, AND dinner!!!!

10/6/2022: I woke up too late cooking myself breakfast-AGAIN . . . DOH~I'm behind schedule! I gotta drive from Placerville attending an appointment via Mid-Town/Downtown Sacramento CA. Welp~Resigning thinking I'll just buy something to eat somewhere inbetween Sutter Hospital and Sacramento Food Co-Op, I guess; I'll just bumble down the street after completing my appointment and eat wherever BUT, I do not know ANYTHING regarding Mid-Town/Downtown Sacramento area at all which is where YELP! becomes poignantly instrumental finding cool, delicious food I will undoubtedly choose inhaling! Frantically searching YELP! I discovered Falafel Corner: YUM~Today, I do want inhaling sumptuous, exotic cuisine . . . Zip over to Falafel Corner-STAT because I'm egregiously famished! Upon embarking Falafel Corner's parking lot . . . The parking lot was JAM-PACKED and upon noticing Falafel Corner's marquis entrance, I noticed Falafel Corner's menu photo adhered to the window imploring me inhaling food here! So, I marched right into the restaurant and my eyes focused honing on ONE menu selection: THE COMBO MEAL! Okay~Let's inhale this deliciously enticing meal; undoubtedly, this combo meal shall be history. Oh????? What's this? Oh! LOOK: I get a FREE Turkish Delight because I'm a Yelper? OH, YEAH~Lol! I show the Man my YELP!'s Free Turkish Delight Schwag via my iPhone: Thank you so very much, indeed, Falafel Corner c/o YELP! I waited about five to ten minutes for the combo meal. Funny~I'm not interested reviewing Falafel Corner's "other" menu selections posted above the counter; in fact, I didn't bother looking~lol! Finally, the combo meal arrives. Yes-It's mine, all mine, and I'm promptly inhaling this immediately without further delay. The first thing I noticed upon opening the styrofoam container was the hummus appeared so creamy and so smooth . . . Then, my eyes gravitating clock-wise noticing the fresh, green salad-YUM . . . The combo meal is definitely a well-balanced choice for me . . . Whoa~The two main dishes appear as seriously intense POVs! Digging in, the hummus~oh-the hummus: Truly an orgasmic, foodie delight, indeed; inhaling the hummus was the first order of business. Second, inhaling the fresh, green salad . . . YUM! Third, voraciously attacking the two main dishes: Ooooof, I can only eat a few more morsels-waaaahhhh~I'm full! Sadly, I'll just resign eating what I can't inhale now as my dinner later this evening which is one-half of the combo meal I photographed~lol!

On our way to Lake Tahoe, we decided to give this place a chance. Loved their falafel wrap and platter. Greek fries and chocolate nut roll was okay. Overall it was a good experience. Service was quick. Kudos to the team.

    Gyro wrap + curly fries
    Larissa Y.

I doordashed for lunch and it's down the street from my work. The time it took for me to receive my order didn't take too long. The wrap was huge in size, stuffed with such flavorful meat and had the perfect amount of sauce:) would definitely order again. The only thing I didn't like was that the onions were whole sliced, like for a burger instead of diced up, which I prefer The fries were crispy and yummy too!

Was in town for a business trip. Was looking for a quick. Dinner option. I saw the reviews and came in not busy at all. One man operations he was nice took my order recommended the burger or falafel gyro. So went with the burger was a good choice would recommend and would go back to try other items.

    Salad with gyros
    Dan C.

I wasn't planning on getting food in this area but I was honestly drawn in by the smell of gyros. I got the salad with gyros added on, and took it home to eat during online class. The meat itself was good, tasty and with a good texture. I think it was tossed with a really light dressing, which was good, and stuffed with feta and cucumbers. I just wish there weren't 8 lbs of onions on top, and probably next time I'll ask for the meat in a separate container so it won't get as cold. But overall not bad.

The concept is all about customization, where you choose your bowl or spring rolls, type of protein or vegetables, and sauces. They even have Vietnamese coffee, teas, and fresh sugarcane squeezed right in front of you! Vietnamese Drip Coffee 4/5* Not as strong as I'd like but considering that they cater to the downtown working demographic, it's still pretty good. You can even customize it to be vegetarian friendly by subbing condensed milk with condensed coconut milk. Bánh Mì with Lemongrass Tri-tip 4/5* The bánh mì overall was satisfying and the ingredients worked well together. The bread had a light crisp on the outside, was fluffy inside, and ratios of the ingredients were balanced. I couldn't taste the lemongrass in the tri-tip, though, so it wasn't worth the extra $ for it. Spicy Wildrice Soup 5/5* I had a sample of their soup before at a pop-up event and knew I had to get the full portion. This soup has a slight kick if you don't eat very spicy like me. The flavors were explosive - intense, creamy, and perfectly salted. There's also fried onions on top for an added crunchy texture. Spring Rolls with Night Market Crispy Tofu 5/5* First off, these spring rolls are not your average roll. They are the size of the container itself and stuffed to the max. There's so many veggies that you feel light after eating this meal. I chose the crispy tofu as protein and it's the best! The tofu was actually crispy, wasn't oily or soggy, and had a ton of flavor from the seasonings. Dipped in peanut sauce, this was so delicious! During the weekday lunch rush, make sure to come early or order ahead online. There's always a long line. If you're only ordering drinks or grabbing a pastry though, it comes out quick.

Disappointing Experience Due to Food Safety Concern…read more I visited this restaurant on Wednesday for lunch. This was actually my second time dining here. My first visit was pleasant, which is why I decided to come back. This time, I ordered what I believe was the tri-tip steak wrap. As I was finishing the first half of my wrap, I noticed a dead fly in my food. Needless to say, I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I walked to the front and asked to speak with a manager. The cashier who helped me was very friendly and professional. I explained the situation to her, and she relayed it to the manager. While I do appreciate that they refunded my meal, what disappointed me most was the manager's response. He never came over to speak with me, apologize, or acknowledge the situation directly. From where I was standing, he appeared visibly disturbed when informed, but he simply instructed the cashier to issue a refund and never addressed me as the customer. I understand that mistakes happen and that it was a busy lunch rush. However, finding a fly in a meal is a serious food safety issue, and I believe a manager or owner should take a moment to personally speak with the customer, show concern, and offer an apology. A little empathy would have gone a long way. The refund was appreciated, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer care left a much stronger impression than the refund itself. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'm hesitant to return.
