    Gyro Wrap
    Bess B.

Tucked within a shopping center, this restaurant is among other restaurants. However, I was craving something a bit lighter and "healthier" than the standard burgers or Mexican food I typically eat. I will say, the food here was the best Mediterranean cuisine I've ever had. I ordered the gyro wrap with a side of regular fries. I think the thing that stood out was the garlic aoli sauce. Top notch flavor! If I get the chance, I'd definitely love to try out the other dishes. My friends ordered the combo platter with chicken and lamb, which looked so delicious and a lot of food! Good enough for 2 meals.

Tried this place out based on the reviews. I ordered a falafel wrap with no onions, side of seasoned fries and a jarritos. The flavor of the falafel wrap was really good. Love the addition of pickles in there. Seasoned fries portion was a bit small but crisp and seasoned well. I don't know if they were short staffed on my visit or what but no one was at the front counter to greet me or take my order. It was my first visit here so I had a couple questions and had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to come out to the front counter.

Found this spot courtesy of Yelp. Was in the area and was craving a chicken platter. Pleasantly surprised by the modern, spacious and clean interior. There is also complimentary tea while you wait or if you are dining in. The chicken plate comes with a small salad, hummus, pita bread and seasoned grilled chicken over rice. So delicious! Great flavors. Service was attentive and helpful - the cheerful guy behind the counter recommended the dishes that I ended up ordering. Great choice! Would totally return.

Falafel wrap and curly fries. The small portions make it look like the ramekins are large, but they aren't.

I thought I was at a different falafel place, and the server told me that they had what I wanted but they didn't, which I could chalk up to my mistake and a miscommunication. But I had to ask him about sauces three times before he told me that they had bbq and ranch. The side of curly fries was tiny for the cost ($4.45). And the food was bland-- no strong flavor of cilantro or parsley in the falafel. The tomatoes were watery. Plus instead of bottles of ketchup and sriracha, they had sauce packets, which I think is wasteful and inconvenient. Another weird thing is that their house sauce (mayonnaise based) had oxidized slightly by the time my food came out. I think they may have timed the food poorly so that the wrap sat waiting for the curly fries to be ready. The falafel was still warm in the middle, but not hot. Overall the food was bland, portions were small for the cost, and communication wasn't what it needed to be. Plus I was the only guest in there, but the napkins and silverware weren't stocked and a table sat dirty the whole time I was there. And instead of having a playlist, the songs kept switching or replaying, and they had commercial breaks. I'd think it's worth $7 a month to get a pandora membership so your customers don't have to listen to ads while trying to enjoy their meals. One of the workers there was sweet, and she adjusted the music volume for me, which was nice.

Stopped in for an early lunch on a Saturday morning with the family. We came because of the good Yelp reviews. It's tucked away in a strip mall and when we got in there was nobody at the front counter for a little bit to greet us. We ordered a gyro, a cheeseburger, and curly frieds. Overall the food was decent. My wife enjoyed the gyro. The burger and curly fries were okay- nothing special, seemed like I could do the same in my own kitchen with frozen patties and fries. Portions were decent, I wasn't entirely full but for this visit, that was okay since we were heading up to Apple Hill later in the day. Perhaps my error was going with a burger instead of their specialties.

Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking . Clean restrooms and most importantly the food was great. I enjoyed every bite of it . U can tell the place had regular costumers . Service was so so but still I prefer a great food over anything . Coming from LA to Sacramento I can tell I had tasted home food finally.

Falafel Platter - $15.17 (with tax)

TRUST THOSE WHO YELP REGULARLY... Good food, clean space, partially attentive staff (tend to stay in the back/kitchen). Order at the counter, then food comes to your table. Bus your own dishes too. I had the Falafel Plate for $15.17 (OTD). It was plenty of food for a quick lunch. Had hot black tea (free) as well, and that was nice in cold weather. Recommended

Wow, those falafel are heavenly! Crispy on the outside soft pillowy delicious balance of nutty and almost buttery flavor- ooh my goodness super good!! If I could just buy a dozen of this, it would even make me super happy :) The combination plate of chicken and beef is my partner's favorite. The chicken and beef kebabs is well marinated and not chewy, extremely delicious. A side of two pieces of bread, hummus and salad ties in perfectly with the rice. Can't never get enough of the food from this restaurant. Just so good!! This must be a family business- it takes 15-30 mins to wait for takeaway. Food is always fresh and piping hot- I like!! They're friendly and food is aplenty. Go support small businesses. Have lunch and dinner there tomorrow. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Here in the photo is the combo plate

First time going there, and I had forgotten my wallet. The gentleman--possibly the owner--was extremely kind and helped me order, even recommending a few items from the menu. I got the combo plate with beef-lamb gyro and a chicken rice plate. Each came with hummus, and I tried three different flavors--everything was delicious. As I mentioned, I realized I forgot my wallet after placing the order. He was nice enough to start preparing the food while I drove back home to grab it. I love Coast--by the time I returned, my order was already ready. Great food and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Are salad before I remembered to take a picture! Chicken and lamb kabobs platter includes salad, hummus, pita, and fluffy Basmati rice!

I started this review a few days ago on my first visit. I saw a previous visitor's review about the Bolani. I am always on the lookout for Bolani - especially pumpkin. I didn't order any this time but I will return to order next time. I got the lamb kebab platter to go. It included a few tender and deliciously flavored chunks of lamb, fluffy rice, a perfectly dressed salad. This is my second visit. The food and service deserved it! The facility, itself, is large and airy and felt welcoming. The gentleman at the counter took my order. I wanted Bolani and they indicated that they offered both pumpkin and potato. I wanted half and half but the counter man indicated they did not have pumpkin tonight. I decided to wait for another day. Each order is prepared to order and worth the wait. My initial order was the lamb kabob platter. This time I ordered the lamb and chicken kabob platter to go. The meats were well seasoned and oh so tender! The rice was fluffy and the perfect bed for the kabobs as it absorbed the juices from the meats. The hummus offered a nice addition to the perfectly dressed salad. The pita was also freshly made and hot off the griddle! I see this place becoming a regular stop for me. I am old and though I always loved cooking, it has become too much for me. I'm always looking for food that is freshly prepared and with minimal preservatives. Falafel Fusion offers me an excellent alternative to healthy eating. Tasha Koor, until next time.

Was such a nice surprise to find this vegan friendly restaurant. The menu is a good size with options for everyone in your party. We ordered the falafel platter, wrap and hummus with pita. Each item was presented well and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean and the service was kind and efficient. Will definitely go back.

Potato bolani (with another layer hidden under the checkered paper! Generous!)

I looooovvveeeee potato bolani, but unfortunately I couldn't find a place in Rancho Cordova that offered it... Until now! As soon as I saw bolani on the menu, I knew I had to try this new establishment. I walked in just past 2pm on a weekday and was 1 of 3 customers inside. I placed a to-go order for potato bolani (they also have pumpkin) and a mixed platter which came with rice, 2 types of meat, a fresh salad, hummus and bread. I was told the wait would be about 15 minutes. No problem. I took a seat and killed time on my phone. A total of about 6-7 other people walked in and placed orders after me and most of them were able to finish their meals while I still sat waiting. I was getting antsy, but finally after almost 40 minutes my food came out. I was relieved to get going and was really hoping the food wouldn't be a disappointment after all that waiting. It wasn't! It was SO SO good. The mixed platter was generously portioned with the rice cooked and seasoned to perfection. The veggie salad was really fresh and tasty. Nothing negative to say whatsoever. I preferred the chicken over the gyro meat though and will stick to that next time. I was so full from the platter that I didn't taste any of the bolani until 7 hours layer! Not sure what it would've been like freshly prepared, but I thoroughly enjoyed it at room temp nonetheless. The best part was that it was such a huge serving for just $10. There was a whole other layer under the first one that was hidden under the checkered paper in the box. What a pleasant surprise! I will definitely be returning, I'll just keep in mind that the bolani is probably an item that needs extra prep time, so heads up.

Was hoping for a great halal place in the neighborhood, and unfortunately Falafel Fusion doesn't hit like the competition. The biggest let down has got to be the value, honestly. Takeout portions are small, and it took almost 30 minutes for it to be ready. I don't mind waiting around for hot and fresh deliciousness, but everything was cold by the time we got home, and we live super close. The platter, the gyro, the loaded fries, the baklava - we tried it all. The saving grace is the falafel, which are good, and the service, which was friendly. In short: would drive farther for more impressive grub.

beef khobeedh ($15) left (on had the hummus) and combo kebab ($18) right (and one piece of chicken).

And while the wings are also excellent (I didn't try any of the other offerings), it is the smashburger that I highly recommend, and for which I am adding my 5-star rating. Finding TTB was a bit of an adventure. There is no visible signage from the parking lot. You enter from the parking lot under a sign that reads "SF Super Market". Then you walk toward the supermarket ahead, but turn left to go under the sign that says Saigon Street Food Court. And then you need to locate the TTB counter inside. And for this smashburger fan, the journey was definitely worth it. The smashburger patties are large, with the requisite crispy edges, yet juicy and beefy in the middle. And even with all that goodness inside the bun, the bun itself remains perfectly intact. It is a giant, yet easily navigable sandwich, and it is delicious. Just the right amount of melted cheese and condiments, everything fresh-tasting. We also tried the onion rings (perfectly crispy) and the wings (with a crunchy coating over juicy, tasty chicken). The fries were a bit thicker than I like, as I am a shoestring-fries fan. But they had a bit of crunch on the outside and were soft on the inside. The chef/owner, Young, took our order, went back inside the kitchen, and then brought everything out to our table. He is a terrific guy, and so pleasant to interact with. With eight or so restaurants in the food court, there are plenty of tables and chairs for eating inside. The whole burger experience was comfortable, and I definitely look forward to returning. All of Young's offerings are fairly priced, and as should be obvious, I highly recommend TTB for an outstanding smashburger experience.

I have thought about trying it for sometime, and Sunday was the day. The restaurant was clean and cute, almost set up like a little diner. THIS PLACE HAS EVERYTHING. or at least every fast food type item I wanted to see on the menu. We ordered chicken strip basket, a jalapeño burger, a chocolate shake and fried zucchini. There was at least 40 other things on the menu that I wanted to order, but figured this was a solid order for our first time. There was a little confusion with the cashier over the jalapeño burger, but I refuse to dock stars for a cashier who looked like they were still in training. They gave us our drinks right away and they have the nice crushed ice that's like tiny pebbles. It's always a treat when a spot has this ice because it's tiny and crunchy and not offered a lot. The food didn't take too long and came out on a tray for our dine in experience. There are plenty of booths here and during our visit there were a lot of other people enjoying meals in small groups and couples. The food was hot and fresh and the fries were nicely cooked crinkle cut fries. The fried okra as good, but needed a bit more seasoning or sauce to dip (we had ranch). The cheese curds were great, hot and the cheese was perfectly melty. My husband got the mushroom cheeseburger with just mushrooms, cheese, pickles and added bacon. He said it was a good burger and satisfied his craving, but isn't something he'd specifically seek out. I got the pastrami burger with everything on it and thought it was delicious, but the pastrami was a bit overcooked and dried out so the texture was a bit hard to bite through with the burger and I found myself eating the pastrami separately from the burger. There's plenty of parking here and they have a drive through. I heard the milkshakes are great, so if we stop by again we'll try one.
