Food was grease vegetable and rice were mushy I come here all the time I will not be back it only takes one time to serve me unpleasant food. I don't know if thy got a new owner but definitely not pleased. I only ate it because I spent 20 dollars what a waste.

Those are the falafel balls they almost look burnt and like I said they taste like grass

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I haven't visited there in over three years. The whole atmosphere has changed. I tried to falafel ball. It taste like I was eating grass. I haven't tried my rice bowl yet. I have to see what kind of surprise I'll get.I won't order falafel balls any more nothing like I remembered who knows might not revisit. New owners seem ungrateful and not caring a whole atmosphere was just off.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - brunch - SO's sister is a regular here; she wanted to bring me to her go-to Mediterranean spot (she's a Chipotle fanatic and loves that this place has the same model for your order) THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a plaza off the corner of Folsom Blvd and Bradshaw Rd THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - clean, bright, small - as stated above, it gives me Chipotle/Subway sandwich vibes in terms of how you order THE MENU: - pita - rice bowls - salads - don't let your pita's be lonely - beverages - desserts WHAT WE ORDERED: - veggie pita - falafel pita - baklava THE TASTE: - veggie pita - SO's sister regularly gets this item so she wasn't disappointed - falafel pita - I was pleasantly surprised; tasty and filling but not bloating - baklava - I'm still not sure if I'm actually a fan of baklava; this one was definitely very heavy on the honey CUSTOMER SERVICE: - fast service

Sigh. The amount of chicken for the rice bowl is extremely disappointing.

Portion is a bit lackluster. Important to note the chicken isn't done kabob style and is sliced. They don't offer plate style (they're a bowl and sandwich place). The place looks neat. But at this corner it's tough to get into unless you know the area. Otherwise, the food tastes okay. For 15 dollars, this was a lot of onions and rice. Sigh.

I do loveeeeee this place! The rice bowl is everything I love! Chicken, rice, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, cheese, salsa and my favorite olives! My only disappointment is last time I ordered a To-go order and I felt I got less food than normal. I was still hungry.. but that's usually not the case. Overall, the food is fresh with delicious flavors.

I've always seen Pita Q ever since college, but never tried it out until recently. My boyfriend and I decided to eat it for lunch after going to the gym. We both ordered a gyro rice bowl to go. Both rice bowls were packed! We ate it as soon as we got home and we both finished in one sitting. It was really good! Seriously no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend to anyone and come again!

standing ovation. A HUGE appreciation for the customer service of Jacob and Carlos. Through and through they treated every customer they interacted with the same; friendly, approachable, attentive. My first time in and I sat back and watched them assist a line of customers quickly. And note, they are consistent at changing their gloves for every meal they prepare. I was confident that my meal was not cross contaminated with meat. Order falafel on wheat pita. The portions were huge! The sauces were so good. Highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting here. A co-worker suggested it to me since I didn't bring my lunch. Wow! This place did not disappoint! I tried their cross cross fries. Holy cow! Amazing. Highly recommend! The chicken pita was yummy, too. Will definitely go again. I like how you can make your own custom pita or bowl. Will try that next time. Friendly staff. Very warm inside though. Almost uncomfortably warm. There is an outdoor eating area too.

    Hand Tossed Salad with Steak

I went during a weekday and this place was extremely packed. A good sign... meaning it is good. I chose the salad with steak. Salad, steak, drink, plus tip came out to $22. You get to pick your choice of 6 toppings. Meat is extra(+4-6). The cilantro lime salad dressing was what really made the salad delicious. The meat was super flavorful and would have been excellent in the bowl or gyro. Next time I'll get the gyro or bowl ($10-$12). They don't have a lot of seats inside but they have a nice patio outside. Perfect for sunny days!

I got the tikka combo which involves skewered lamb and chicken over rice. There's some hummus, a big piece of bread, and a salad involved. Overall, I thought everything could have been more flavorful. While I'm a sauce man, if a place doesn't beg me to ask for sauce or add more, I'm pretty impressed. Further, the lamb was kind of tough. Perhaps, some of the other items could be better. They seem to have some nice baked good options. I guess the $ is competitive, but for $20+ for an entree and soda... Service: order at the register. Not too much conversation involved. Maybe about 4 tables available to dine in.

They are located inside a Mediterranean market. We ordered from the bakery, but, paid over in the market. I got their beef shawarma sandwich, while my coworkers went with the chicken. It took a few minutes before our sandwiches were done. The sandwich was big and a very good value for the price they charge. The problem I had was with the meat as it was very gristly. The beef was marinated well, and came with tomatoes and onions. They were okay. I can't complain much as the price was very reasonable.

I'm not vegan but if I was I'd eat here daily, their olive salad (not sure of the name at the moment) is absolutely delicious, grilled veggies are cooked perfectly. I'm making it my New Year's resolution to eat here at least once a month. The prices are very reasonable also. 12 of us just ate there for just under $400 with drinks.

Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.
