On the phone, they transparently told me there would be a flat fee for the inspection and once we knew what we were working with, we'd discuss any additional work/cleaning needed. They were able to fit me in the next morning and when I arrived, the shop was SO CLEAN. Rob walked me through the entire process. They sent me detailed reports, images with explanations and walked me through what they found. Gave me reports to use with insurance if I needed (and offered to work with insurance directly) They had me in and out in 2.5 days. Rob at Techzone was amazing! My car sat at the dealer for 3 days before being diagnosed. Upon inspection the dealer said they would need 4 more hours at a cost of nearly 1500.00 to diagnose the issue. Frustrated at the delays and high cost I made a few calls. I visited Tech Zone Auto for the second time to get another alignment after adjusting my custom suspension. Rob was very professional and remembered my car from a previous visit. He was very accommodating to hear the updates ive made to the car and to inform me of the specifications of the alignment and tire pressures. Impressed! I came in for an alignment with some diy suspension repairs and wrong parts from online distributor. I had already been told I couldn't do the alignment, as is, by a different shop. I was frustrated. And honestly out of my element. Robert quickly identified my issues, and pointed out the wrong parts, annd talked me through the safety concerns and that techzone could rectify the problems. When I say I wish I could give TechZone 10 stars, I'm being 100% dead serious. This place is absolutely incredible in every single way. From the time Rob spent on the phone with me the first time I called, to scheduling me in 3 days, to their facility, the fact that they diagnosed and fixed my issue within 4 hours, to the incredibly fair price I paid. I truly can't say enough good things about TechZone and in particular, Rob Lashin. I had a baffling front camera issue that the Ford Dealership (in St. Helena) didn't resolve. They told me I needed a new lane departure camera and new rearview camera, which I knew was BS. They wanted to charge me almost $1,200. Rob quickly diagnosed it as a faulty front camera module. And for half of what the dealership wanted to charge me, they diagnosed the problem, sourced the part, picked it up, and installed it in LESS THAN 4 HOURS! They didn't even mark up the camera module, and they got a price $150 less than what the Ford dealership quoted me. I was back in my truck by noon today. What's more, he could have easily talked me into a relatively expensive camera calibration, but he said that it really wasn't necessary and if he were me, he wouldn't do it. Now THAT'S an honest, stand-up guy. Truly a rarity in today's automotive repair world. I'm so glad I found TechZone. Best auto repair experience I've ever had in all of my 49 years on earth. My car was stolen and there was damage to the interior. There were also missing parts. TechZone provided great service. The main problem was a three month delay in getting the necessary parts from the manufacturer. Techzone took care of the car until the parts were available and then promptly repaired it. Further, they sent the car to a detail shop and had the car thoroughly cleaned. The result was perfect. My car was as good as the day I bought it. Techzone is the place I sought out, for a Tough Diagnosis of an Airbag warning light in the Instrument Cluster. Never a good thing! Having contacted a couple places previously, I Trailered the Explorer over 100 miles, to these Folks. I am a former Journeyman Auto Mechanic, but not "fluent" in Airbag. I could tell on the phone, the People running this Shop are Top Notch. Very Professional, very up to speed on these systems. They got on the Job on the appointed Day, called me with the Diagnosis. Unfixable!! Due to required parts being unavailable from Ford. Holding the highest standards, they won't use Junkyard parts, which I agree with. This Vehicle was to be for my Granddaughter, her Safety is my concern. It is their concern as well. I so appreciate their high Standards and Professional approach to these complicated Systems. The tech did his job, but Rob the person I spoke with the day before, didn't even mention to me after I told him my mechanic diagnosed the OPDS sensor that this had been recalled. I think that is pretty shady of him not to have said something like "Before I charge you $125 check for a Service bulletin recalling the OPDS sensor". After all he is an airbag "expert". I think it is pretty shady and that is why I am taking the time to write this review. It is only one person's opinion and you can take it anyway you want, but I hope this helps you decide whether you would use AIRBAG SERVICE.COM. I am giving them two stars and not one because they did do what they said they would do in a fairly timely manner. I am also a business owner and try to do my best to save my customers the most I can when they are trusting me to do so. I took it to Acura and they repaired everything FREE of charge and even gave me a loaner after they mistakenly called me to pick up my car when it was not completed. Their diagnostic charge was $155 and that was waived when they found out that the OPDS sensor was bad, due to the recall. On September 9th I received a call from Matt the owner of the company. He explained a few things to me and I explained a few to him, after our long conversation we concluded we agreed that there was a major misunderstanding on both of our parts. He offered a full refund and apologized for the misunderstanding as I did. I just wish we could have resolved this long before I had to post a crappy review. Matt made things right by making the call and it was much appreciated. He understands like myself that independently owned business rely on their reputations, trust and customer service for revenue and future business. read more

I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla for which the airbag light came on at about 100,000 miles. All online advice seemed to say get it checked out by the dealer. The DIY advice required excessive tinkering and the purchase of a code scanner (different from the check engine light scanner), and so I went to the Toyota Dealer. DONT DO THIS. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. They looked at it and told me that I needed to replace the air bag assembly - over a thousand dollars - no explanations - just a couple of error codes and a recommendation to replace the air bag assembly. I wasn't quite convinced and after some googling came across airbagservice.com and decided to get a second opinion. They seemed quite trustworthy from their reviews and the website. When I called, I happened to speak to Matt the owner who was very polite and told me about their mobile service where they could drive to your place to do the diagnostic. Since I live in San Jose, I took it and promptly the next day they were over. He checked it out, and after about a half hour, clearly explained to me what the probably issues were and the current and history codes that were showing up. In addition to trying to find what the issue was also looking to see what might have caused it, since the codes that were coming up were rare for a Toyota. He said he was going to troubleshoot a little more. Twenty minutes later he tells me that he has fixed the issue. It was continuity problem in the squib circuit, and cleaning the circuit took care of it. He charged me nothing more than the mobile consultation fee (under a hundred and fifty bucks). All the time while he was there and I spoke with him, he seemed professional, knowledgable, and genuine and communicative. I was very pleased with the service, professionalism and the fact that he saved me over a thousand bucks. Moral of the story: Air bag issues - go here, and don't go to the dealers, dealers only want to screw you by making you buy parts. read more
