Chase Field isn't just a ballpark to me. It's a time machine…read more As a kid, I'd sit next to my dad in the cheap seats, glove in hand, hoping a foul ball would find me like destiny. I remember the smell of popcorn, the crack of the bat echoing through the stadium, and the way my dad would explain every play like it was a life lesson disguised as baseball. Those nights were magic -- simple, loud, unforgettable. Now I'm grown, and the roles have shifted. I'm the one buying the tickets, driving us downtown, making sure he's got a cold drink in his hand before first pitch. But the moment we walk into Chase Field, it's like nothing has changed. We're right back to being that father and son who didn't need much -- just a game, a couple seats, and each other. Every visit brings back a flood of memories: the first home run I ever saw, the time we stayed through extra innings even though we had school the next morning, the way he'd nudge me when our favorite player stepped up to the plate. Baseball became our language, our tradition, our anchor. And now, as adults, it means even more. Life gets busy, people get older, but baseball... baseball stays. Chase Field is the place where time slows down and reminds me that some things -- the best things -- don't fade. My dad has one dream left on his baseball bucket list: club seats at a playoff game. The kind of seats where you can feel the energy in your chest, where every pitch feels like history, where you look over at your old man and see the kid he used to be -- and the kid you used to be too. Baseball is something we'll always have together. And Chase Field will always be the place that made that possible.

We got some of the unique food items for the stadium which was cool! Got a hot dog flight which was very unique. Expensive though. $11 for a bottle of water. Crazy. We were really hoping DBat would be a great way to help our son get into baseball, but after a few…read morevisits and a camp day, we're officially done. From day one, it was clear that support for beginners just isn't there. We asked multiple times for help using the batting cages since we're not baseball savvy, and each time were met with the same answer: "It's easy" or "Just put him in and figure it out." No explanation, no guidance, just major attitude. I felt like an inconvenience, not even a customer! We signed our son up for a summer camp hoping it would be a better, more structured experience. Unfortunately, it was just more of the same. At drop-off, staff couldn't find his name on the list and didn't have any formal check-in process. When we offered to walk him back (his first day!), we were told to just send him alone to "find the group." Once we found the group, it was hard to tell who was even in charge since there was no clear staff IDs or supervision. At pickup, we saw kids swinging bats way too close to each other with no one actively managing what was going on. Our son wanted to try the cages again, so we asked for help, this time from a front desk associate (white guy with a curled mustache), and we were once again met with a cold attitude. When we asked about private lessons that we'd be willing to pay for, his only response was "whatever" with no effort to explain how to sign up or get more info. What sealed it for us was the lack of any real safety measures. No one checked who was picking up kids. No sign-in or sign-out, no ID check ....nothing. That's a huge red flag for any parent. Our son wanted to love this place, and we really tried to give it a chance. But the lack of guidance, professionalism, and basic safety makes this a hard no for us. *** Update *** After raising these concerns, I received a call from the manager who firmly disagreed with my feedback. They insisted safety wasn't an issue because they do a safety brief with the kids and that staff did their best despite "doing a thousand other things." They also clarified that DBAT, like other batting cages, doesn't have someone available to help users, something that directly contradicts the impression given on their site and materials, given they list that there are instructors. Again if an instructor needs to be scheduled, the guidance and help of knowing who and what to book on the website would be the first step in providing a reasonable level of customer service. When I asked for a refund for the upcoming unused camp day, they declined and stood by their approach. I let them know the call was unproductive and that we were clearly in complete disagreement. At this point, we will not be returning. If you're new to baseball and looking for guidance or a welcoming environment for your child, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

It has large fields with fun backdrops, an indoor restaurant with seats by the window so you can enjoy the game with air conditioning on those hot AZ days, and indoor bathrooms! They also serve beer, including a couple of craft beers on draft. That was exciting to me because I've never been able to drink a beer while watching a girls' softball tournament. I got a hazy IPA from Four Peaks, along with chicken tenders and fries. The chicken was good. Fries were lightly battered, which is not my preference, but they were still pretty good. Finished my food inside, but went back out to the stadium seats because you can't hear the game from inside, so it wasn't as exciting to watch. Notes: -For any tournaments hosted by outside organizations (not the town of Gilbert), there is a $5 fee at the gate for non-Gilbert residents age 16 and over. They do ask to see ID. -Online it says no food or drink allowed, except for water.

There is shade, a playground for kids, and a Sports bar (2 total) with hamburgers, hotdogs, pretzels, nachos, and pizza. There was plenty of parking as well. One of my favorite places to go watch baseball and softball games. Note: The place could use some maintenance as the backdrops for some of the fields have faded and the scoreboards didny work. However, it is still a nice place overall!

I'm so glad we chose not to buy from a bigger sporting goods chain like Dicks and came here. We had a very good personalized 1 on 1 experience with Dylan and Tanner who were very knowledgeable and helpful with helping my son choose the right glove. They have a great selection of bats and gloves amongst other baseball and softball equipment here. The store is just big enough without being overwhelming. I can't thank Tanner and Dylan enough for the wonderful experience. They also have glove break in service which is normally $60 but $30 if you buy the glove from them. Since we are out of state they said they could keep the glove and complete the service which is 5-7 days and then ship to us. 10/10 recommend!!!

Customer service like this will definitely bring me back as a customer! Wish there was a zero star option. Bought $300 catchers gear for my daughter's birthday (of course no way to try it on first since it's online). Their site claims easy, hassle free returns/exchanges;however, somewhere on the site (mind you, not on the listing or the actual order) their policy states no refunds/returns on any item discounted over 25%. I'm now stuck with ill fitting gear (which is correct size according to sizing guide). I offered to buy a $400 set in exchange and they offered a 15% discount if I order from them again...why would I buy there again when I'm stuck with a crummy purchase? If you're getting a "good deal", make sure you're getting exactly what you need, or you will be stuck with it...poor customer service! Never again.
