First time- this pizza is so GREAT! I came in at lunch time last week and had two pieces of veggie and a side salad. The salad was HUGE and so fresh and delicious. The veggie was cooked to perfection with the perfect crust and sauce ratios. The restaurant was so cute and the service was very quick. I came in ordered at the counter and then dined in while getting some work done. They have 3 locations Burr Ridge, 40th in Chicago and one in Cícero. Customer service is terrible...so disappointing. I placed my order, gave cc info and mentioned I had a coupon for free delivery. The female (didn't get her name) proceeded to "educate" me that I should have mentioned it before because now it couldn't be applied or there would have to be a refund put in and told me all the steps involved in how much work the refund would be. Really. Really...I had to be told all of that!!!! To shorten the story of going back & forth on asking for a credit on a future order or getting a free appetizer and paying the delivery, she got "Leslie" on the phone (who claimed she didn't know the name of who took my original order) and explained that I'd have two charges on my cc & one would be credited in a couple days. So a refund could be done & then another order placed...I was perfectly fine with that, and could have been told to me from the get-go instead of being told of the whole refund ordeal they'd have to go thru! They both mentioned it was busy...ummm, yeah from customers such as myself trying to buy their food!!!! After all this I could have just cancelled my order, but did reorder with Leslie (who said she wasn't a manager because the manager was too busy..!!!! and she was just given the phone to speak with me ‍). Southsider by birth here. This is the best damn Chicago style pizza around. This is old-school. Our parents used to come to all of the pizza joints and debate the merits of each. Falco's is all around great...sauce is not too sweet but nice and punchy. Cheese is plentiful. Sausage is really really good...as it should be. Good olives on it, too. Mark my words--South Side pizza is a kind of best kept secret and Falco's still does it dead on. Right across from Kelly High so you know the kids have been getting this pizza for decades after (and sneaking out of) classes... I got the classic sausage, olives (green...of course), and mushrooms. It was awesome as always. Crust was crispy and braided...usually don't eat the crust but I do here! Pizza itself was delicious. Hard to stop eating that really melted cheese, mushroom, and salty olive combination on a nicely textured and perfectly baked pizza. Service was superb. The woman serving it checked up on me frequently and was really kind--and she was even helping a lot of folks at the bar on that particular Sunday night. Really thoughtful. Beyond that...I ordered a pitcher of Lite and she made it a point to me the fullest pitcher of beer I've ever gotten...wow...it was like getting an extra beer (see photo). I ordered a pizza early in the day because I wanted to make sure that I'd get it on time for dinner with family. After waiting past the scheduled time, I called and the person on the phone seemed confused. She said that it was on its was. Said that if it's cold, they'd replace it. Well, it came later and cold. Not only that but it looked like it was put together with parts of other pizzas. I spoke with someone who works there and was informed that the manager forgot to send my order. I called to speak with the manager, sent pictures and was given a refund. I placed an online order and selected 11:30am delivery. I received a call at 10:30am stating they were outside with my order. I explained the situation and the delivery person stated they didn't see the note on the order and would come back. I asked if the pizza would be fresh and was told it would be. So we choose Hot Wings this time with a pitcher (Mind you, the pitcher is a little bit more then the weekends, which I found kind of backward but did not complain). Any-who, decided to just ask the waitress about the burgers, she stated "Oh does your jaw unhinge?" I was like, is this a pretext to whats to come? I was flabbergasted at the size of the two orders of double hamburgers the partner and I ordered. Are you freakin' serious? These things are HUGE! The waitress did not lie and she so deserved that $10 tip! I was really like, oh no I can't eat this. So I split off the burger and had some to take home. As usual the hot wings were perfect and the fries that come with it balanced out the fact that the burgers do not come with fries, but that was okay since we had beer, burgers, and hot wings. I was really happy I came on a Tuesday and I was surprised at the fact that they serve all you can eat pizza slices from 11:30 until 2:30 I believe. Considering they have a high school across the street, I bet that it really gets crowded come early lunch time. Again, I doubled up on the review because FINALLY, Chicago's South Side has a burger worth mentioning. Went there for super bowl they had no pizza they said four hour wait on inside. Tried to order stuff from the menu they were out of all fish on the menu catfish hurts everything. End up only getting french fries good side of this was the waitress just notified the bill so we just tipped her. If you live anywhere on the Southwest Side, then you probably aren't looking up a review for Falco's because you already know what an absolute gem of a spot it is. Absolutely amazing pizza with insanely good crust you're going to be paying a little more to eat here but you're paying for pure quality. This is the food you not only get for yourself regularly but you also take your out of town friends to get or order in for them because it's that good. That said, one thing that you may not know is that not only is their pizza to die for but they make a killer burger as well. Bigger than your fist when toppings are tossed on (seriously, we refer to the double cheeseburger with fixing as a softball because it literally is that big.) It's one of those burgers where you challenge yourself not to finish it because there's so much to it and combined with the extremely generous fry orders, you can't help but want to get every last bite in. Easily one of the few places that can balance its menu properly to consistently put out great food. If there's a sore spot, sometimes the person taking your order can be hit or miss (it's been a while but I've gotten attitude plenty of times before) but I'm not going to knock them for a minute call when what they end up serving is so good, you think about it the next day and end up just wanting it again even though you know it will fill you right up. Great pizza for the price. Have only done takeout, ate here with co-workers for Pie Day. We ordered 8 jumbo slices (2 large slices) that run $4-6 depending on toppings. They were swamped with a ton of orders so some of us had to settle for a $5 sausage instead of a Super (Sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper). They did their best to get our order, waited about 10 minutes and threw in a 6-pack of pop too. Friendly service despite the frantic rush, and took care of us really fast. Food-wise, nice crunch to the crust, not too thin or thick. Sauce and cheese had great flavor and firmness without being to oily. Sausage had great seasonings.
