Monica's Pizza gotta be the greatest Pizza of all time. Their Pizza feels like you're eating little clouds, especially when you get it with Pepperoni. I've been going here for about 5 years now, and it's always my go to Pizza spot. Even when it comes to Burgers they STILL get it right. Whenever I'm hungry, I'll stop by or just order, the people that work there are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Also when you are waiting for your food inside, they have a television that plays major sports games (and when there's not it's good TV anyway). One time I went in, and they had the Spurs vs Knicks game on, but I digress. Greatest Pizza Spot of all time, I can't name a single place I'd rather go to. I totally recommend coming to this place. There are many reasons for coming here. One of the most obvious reasons would be that the food is rich in nutrition such as fat and carbs it will get you ready for a long day at the gym. It's also very delicious and such rich in flavor you can taste the onions, tomatoes, lettuce on the burger. The fries are amazing they are very crispy and flavorful. The workers are great the worker is constantly peaking around the corner to make sure his customers are always happy and enjoying their meal with a smile on their face. $40.00 worth of disappointing COLD Pizza, and Chicken and fires I placed the order for a Valentines Party for my Little kids to celebrate. Only to have disappointing sad faces when the order arrived almost 2 hours later after the order was placed. Estimate given was 45 to and hour which was far off. I called the place to express my concerns, and was treated as if I was some cheap skate trying to get a free meal! The person on the phone rudely gave me the option to remake my order only if the entire pizza was intact and untouched and my order would take even longer than it did, because they were too busy. At the end we had to heat up the oven and toss the food in to reheat. We will be sticking to Giordanos pizza from now on. read more

Ordered a family pizza from here they said it was $25 which was an okay price. When the pizza arrived the delivery guy said it was another $5 which they should've explained in the first place if it went towards the delivery guy or the order in total. Keep in mind my family's ordered from this place before so we don't tend to give them large bills as they don't return the change because they don't "carry" any. So we paid the delivery guy then received 2 calls from the pizza place insisting we missed 95¢. Their tough Turano bread is toasted once around in their rotating pizza oven. Their beef is usually a generous portion of non-banquet tasting quality. The amount of giardeniarra peppers is always on the mark, slithering through a mound of beef and tackling spicy-craving taste buds to enormous satisfaction. Order an open-faced sandwich to dine-in and usually you get a little more. However, the carry-out sandwich is of the same quality and still a great bang for the buck. Monica's Pizza has a long-standing record of getting my order right and the taste of their beef sandwich truly defines a superb south side sandwich. I ordered the 18 inch xl pizza I asked for extra extra Pepperoni and regular mushrooms.. I got home and they gave me a pizza with maybe 20 pieces of pepperoni and a lot of mushrooms and very little cheese.. I've been going to this place for over 10 years now, since I was about 13 or 14... The owner is still the same! This pizza is one of the best in Chicago! If I had to recommend a pizza to a visiting friend, I would take them to Monica's.. You can get a delicious and good-sized slice of Cheese pizza for $2.00. Friendly staff & delicious pizza! They have good food and great prices. But every time I put a order through the phone they get it wrong. Then they want to make you wait for the new pizza and return the one they messed up. That's the only reason I gave them one star because it happens all the time. Instead of sending a new pizza or trying to fix problems they want to make it seem like it's your fault. This is one of my favorite pizza joints. Super affordable and great for a quick lunch. They sell pizza slices which I feel that are more like two slices because they are that big. Plus it only cost $2.50 for a slice and have great deal like a slice with fries and pop for less than $7. They have more deals than that.
