This is now the only Pizza place I support, because they're the only ones that work with the community. At a time when people across the country are struggling with inflation, this place refuses to raise its prices. They have the cheapest prices--by far, and even charge no tax. That's right--their menu prices are flat even, and you pay exactly what it says the on the menu. It's a great American blue-collar-mom&pop-Pizza Parlor like no other. They don't care about their loyal and consistent customers. We used to order from them literally once a week until they made out address outside of their zone all of a sudden. We order a pizza tonight and the driver didn't have the 2 liter of pop that comes with it. He says to call the pizza place back and let them know. They assure us that the driver will bring it. Two hours later we call again only to be told that the driver returned but heard gunshots and left. I was at the door waiting the entire time btw and no gunshots. I call back to speak to a manager and they had me on hold until I hung up. Called again only to be on hold indefinitely again. So the place we order pizza from was closed :( We decided to try this one. The lady that took our order was very pleasant, she even gave me a coupon :) Pizza delivery was promised in 45min to 1hr. Pizza arrived in 35 minutes to be exact. The pizza sauce has some sweetness to it, which makes it unique and delicious. Pizza was really good. Even though my family does Love the taste of the pizza here, the customer service today cost them 2 stars from me. Today I spent over 20 minutes calling but no one answered. I only kept insisting because yelp said it was open. When they finally answered I was rudely told to hold. After waiting close to 10 min Someone finally answered to take my order. In the middle of ordering I was hung up on. I thought maybe they will call me back I better not have to hold again, plus the girl took down my number, but no one called back. So I called again and was rudely told "hold on". I couldn't even tell the girl I'm the one that was just disconnected. Finally she answers and asked me what I would like...to which I answered an apology for being hung up on and put on hold for so long. Obviously there was no apology, hence knocking down the stars. While I love supporting small joints like this one, I can't deal with bad customer service. There's no way-too many pizza places on the Southside to be treated poorly.
