On the night we went the temps outside were in the 70's and they were playing the new Hocus Pocus movie which I thought was pretty cool. The inside is decorated pretty cool and the bar is located inside the back door, down the stairs and around the corner. The bartender was super nice each time we requested additional beers. We had the cider and the sour and both were awesome. The don't serve food so we had pizza delivered from a pizza place nearby. We sat outside on picnic tables but they did have chairs around a fire element someone else was using. If I lived locally this would be a go to spot for me! I really enjoyed hanging out at this establishment.

We stopped in here after 502 winery. They are in the same building, and the beers were pretty good. They have a cool atmosphere and some games to play as well.

Had a small private event for your last night and they were very cordial and very helpful! All different types of beer. Something for everyone! I tried a couple different ones. Patio Weather - loved it! Watermelon something that was really good too!

The Kitchen at Falls City Brewing Co. probably isn't going to win any major culinary awards but the fries are really the perfect consistency of a crunchy outside and a soft inside. And the smash burger's patty has a great char-grill taste with the right amount of saltiness to it which is nicely complemented with the special sauce that's served on the side. I enjoyed my food and beverages in the beer garden because it was a beautiful afternoon but the inside is also a great place to enjoy a draft beer with two friends or twenty (maybe call ahead if you've got 20 others joining you, they might want to set you up with the side room ). I love that Falls City always offers up a wide variety of craft beers. If you're a hophead, there's the Hipster Repellent IPA but there's also a solid classic Pilsner, smoked beer, golden ale, Kölsch, stout, and more that rotate through. All great beers, served as they're supposed to be.

Stopped here on a day of exploring the cities breweries! My dad always talked about Falls City from his childhood, so was fun to see how it has progressed! Great location to downtown, we walked from Market street, enjoyed a flight and a pint after! Really loved everything and the wonderful outdoor seating! Bartender was very interesting too! Highly recommend, and I will be back again!

Never let's us down! Was able to grab a drink with my wife and friends while playing "twister" and "trouble" with my nieces! Only thing missing was their kitchen BUT the bartender mentioned they only have one more piece of equipment to purchase for the kitchen and they will be open soon, so that problem will be solved very shortly! HOWEVER-they compensate for that by allowing outside food in! Oh and dogs

I don't know that this is the best brewery in the city, but it's gotta be in the conversation. Their regular beers are all pretty dang solid. Big fan of the pilsner and the Street Lamp. The Street Lamp is really delicious, in fact. I went on a brewery tour, where they talked about how they make the beer, but also discussed the history of Falls City itself, how Falls City used to be a major player in the beer world once upon a time. They even discussed how Falls City fell from graces in the 70s, and when it was dormant in the 90s. Pretty neat, honestly. Look. These guys know what they're doing. And they're all super friendly. Furthermore, the drinking room is gorgeous. Whoever they hired to refurbish their building did it correctly. Very cozy and welcoming. I could easily see myself spending hours up there just chatting and having a good time with friends. Once the food goes in next door, that is going to be a game changer for this place. Food + beer = HEAVEN ON EARTH. Thank you, Falls City, for brewing tasty alcohol for my enjoyment.

    Chill day and night.

Took a tour of several breweries in Nu Lu with fellow Yelp Elites and one stop was Falls City Brewery. I loved the place! I had the refreshing original 1920's FC Brew, on a super warm day was on point. Inside you will find a couple tv's, games of many types along with history of how FC became iconic. On the outside of this fun new facility with a great patio where they were barbecuing briskets which had a aroma that made my mouth water. Picnic tables with large umbrellas. On site parking as well as street parking. Out back near the patio you can witness through large windows the brewing process. Great place to take a guest especially out of town to show off some of Louisville's brewery history.

I got the Mango-Colada Sour, and this was delightful. It seems like Butchertown Brewing really excels at sours, fruit beers and fun concoctions. So if you're not afraid to "fruit the beer," this is a good place to check out. They also have seltzers, hard sodas and more typical beer offerings. And while it is small, you can still easily find food. It's right across the Mellwood Art Center courtyard from Danny Mac's Pizza (my all-time favorite Louisville pizza spot!). And you can order via Danny Mac's website and choose to get it delivered to Butchertown Brewing. You don't even have to leave your chair to get delicious pizza! Butchertown Brewing also hosts fun events, like the aforementioned trivia. Actually it was trivia bingo -- so the more fun, easier-to-play version of triva, which I actually won a prize in! I won a gift card to come back to Butchertown Brewing, and I will definitely be partaking again soon!

I got the burger in special, the Dirty Burger. Pretty standard burger dressed with their "not so secret" sauce and fancy pickle. Super solid, very well executed. In the words of Samuel L. Jackson, this is a tasty burger! The location is pretty tough to beat with how convenient it is, and how close it is to all downtown has to offer. The atmosphere is industrial but relaxed. Baseball and a hotdog go hand and hand! We got to the restaurant and searched from the top to the bottom, from the front to the back for the Chili dog and it was nowhere to be found on the menu. The waitress informed us they changed the menu a few months ago. Update the website please!! He was so disappointed that he only ordered fries to eat. I ordered the brunch burger. I love eggs but hate a runny yolk. I informed our server and watched her customized my burger (fry the egg hard please). As soon as the burger arrived, I knew I wasn't going to eat it. There was runny yolk on the side (gag reflex). I informed our waitress who was very apologetic about it. She asked the kitchen and they said they would remake it, but I opted for another burger (le sigh). Because they were so busy and hadn't started making my order, we just decided to pay for our drinks eat somewhere else after the game. The server was great, but our experience wasn't.
