Bottle service presentation was fun, better quality than some of the other venues in the area. Terrible experience. They charged my card twice and because I used a debit card, I would have to get a new card to dispute the charge so I tried to go through the business first. I sent a DM on instagram, two emails, and a text message. Never got a response, and my text message even says "read." Got charged $90+ for two vodka red bulls. Ridiculous! Had a terrible and traumatic experience last Saturday night 10/28/23 where I was hounded and bullied by security into paying a tab that did not belong to me nor my group. After exiting the bathroom I was cornered into their back hallway near the ATM, where I was forced by a security person to pay/Zelle back a patron that accosted me for not paying a tab that was obviously not mine. Security refused to allow me to speak & hear my side of the story, nor let talk to the bartender to settle the matter. INSTEAD, allowed the patron to take possession of my phone, log into my Chase app via facial scan, & and Zelle themselves money from my bank account WITHOUT my consent. (This was an unauthorized transaction btw- which is super ILLEGAL). This was a robbery and FAME's security allowed this to happen via coercion. Do NOT go here! read more

This place was fantastic! We were totally blown away by the ambiance, food (and drinks), and service. We had reservations and when we arrived we were seated right away. We all kept commenting how beautiful and sexy this spot was. Also we thought it was a nice touch with the live performer. This spot isn't cheap and I was glad it was a girls night out cause we got to share and try a lot more. I highly recommend the bread service, spicy tuna rice cake and the truffle Parmesan fries as a starter For our meals we all mostly went with the truffle Risotto (which was delicious). My one friend went the lamb chop route and throughly enjoyed those. The corn and lobster Mac & Cheese appetizer were outstanding. However we just thought the mash potatoes and broccolini were just okay. The drinks also bring quite a performance. Our manhattans were served nice and smoky. A new upscale restaurant/bar/club in River North with tons of great food options and drinks. We went here with friends and tried a bit of almost everything. The highlights were the Lamb chops, tuna, and pasta which is made by hand and most definitely the fingerling potatoes. They cooked the potatoes to perfection and it pairs well with any entree. That is definitely a must as well. They did an amazing job with their presentation, service and most importantly food and drinks. We'll definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Do not waste your evening. I went to Fame Supper Club with 2 friends, and it was the worst dining experience I have had. Below is an email I sent to both emails listed on the site, and have heard no response. "I am writing to explain my experience Saturday night at Fame Supper Club. I had a reservation at 8:30 for 3 people, which I attended with 2 of my girlfriends for dinner and drinks. We were sat on time, but that is the only positive thing I can say about the experience. My friend and I ordered the No Flash Photography to start, and I can confidently say there was no alcohol used to make this drink. For the complexity described on the menu, promising a spicy/tangy cocktail, both of our drinks tasted nothing more than passion fruit concentrate watered down. The waiter came back to take our order for food, but instead he said "I'm sorry we are SO busy tonight, I'll come back to get your order in a bit". At this point in time, we were all finished with our drinks. I can confidently say we sat at the table without ordering food, empty drinks, and empty water glasses for another 10 minutes. When he returned, we ordered food. My friend ordered octopus, I ordered the lamb chops and broccolini, and our other friend ordered the chicken. Additionally, since the first cocktail was essentially juice, I ordered a glass of wine, because that is kind of hard to get wrong. My friends decided to try another cocktail as they do SOUND promising on the menu. While waiting, for quite some time, the waiter returned and asked me to repeat my wine order since he admittedly forgot. Again adding how busy it was. I repeated the super Tuscan and pointed to it on the menu. He used closed loop communication, which confirmed he knew my order. I'm sad to have to explain some 5 minutes later he returned to ask me to repeat what wine I wanted. In the meantime, my friend's octopus arrived. None of the other food arrived, which we attributed to possibly the wait staff knowing it's a "starter",  but still disappointing because we specified we wanted all the food at the same time because she wanted the octopus as a main course. While my friend was eating alone, my wine arrived, and I drank about half of it. To my surprise, the waiter approached with another glass of wine saying he gave me the wrong one and when I said "oh, ok..." he excused himself saying "It's just we are like SOOO busy." This was odd to me, because it looked like the restaurant was actually just at normal capacity for a Saturday night, and he took my wine order 3 times. About 40 minutes later, he returned to tell us that the kitchen was out of octopus, and my friend needed to order something else, which confirmed that they DID know that we wanted all the food at once. However, we stated we already received the octopus, and she ate it. Our food came next, and I will say that it was decent, but after waiting for SO long to eat, the taste was unfortunately an afterthought. By now, it was nearing 11pm so we asked for the check. It was brought to us, we put our 3 cards in, closed the booklet, and the waiter took it to run the cards. He returned, with one book, only my card inside, and the entirety of the experience charged to my card. You can obviously imagine the mild panic as we were missing 2 credit/debit cards. The waiter DID return within 5 minutes or so, with the other two cards in a SEPARATE  booklet, with the dinner and drinks charged to both!! I'm bothered to outline the events like this, as I have great respect for the service industry, and am grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy a meal and drinks out with friends, but frankly, this was the worst experience I've ever had in Chicago or elsewhere. I would like to be fully refunded for the experience, not because it simply didn't meet a personal expectation, but because it was an utterly complete disaster. We were made to feel like the place was just "too busy" to provide us with basic service, the outlandishly expensive cocktails tasted nothing like described on the menu with no alcohol, we ate separately, our water was refilled once in 2.5 hours, the waiter forgot essentially 80% (I forgot to include he had to come back and ask me what I ordered for a main course after he took our food order and confirmed I ordered the lamb. Good was good! The lamb chops were warm not hot good flavor otherwise. So we were there for a bachelorette dinner. Dinner was at 8:15 for 8 service was extremely slow it ended at 12. We didn't even bother looking at a dessert menu. I believe they only had one waitress working on a Saturday night and had a full house. Why would you do that to your customers?! This place is definitely trying to be 'something' without being much. Live music consists of a guy strumming his guitar. Drinks are fun but food is subpar for the prices. We ordered the filet rare + which came out medium, the cacio e pepe had no sauce and was basically spaghetti noodles with grated Parmesan cheese that I could make at home for a dollar. The lobster mac and cheese had zero lobster sadly. The one rave on the menu was the king crab appetizer. Get that! Definitely don't need to go back but the staff is lovely which is why it deserves the star. One strong point! Come for a drink and you won't be disappointed. read more

This is a great place for a fun meal out! Food was delicious, cocktails were delicious and had fun presentation. The place is very well decorated and the ambience is fun. The acoustic guitarist was killing the covers of such a wide variety of songs, our whole group was singing and dancing. Highly recommend for a regular night out or a special occasion! There is also a club opening upstairs in a few weeks which is very nice as well. read more

Well went there for my birthday, the cocktails and appetizers were delicious, the carb leg was on a bed of salt were it is so dark in there you thought it was on rice, so that was horrible, the burger all so was like really salty so couldn't eat that. The filet was also salty could not eat that! And I love salt but it was inedible, they took all are entrees off. So disappointed, to bad it a beautiful place. I came here for a friend's birthday dinner a few weeks ago. It's a cute place. Has a guy singing and playing the guitar, very early 2000's Dawson's Creek vibe. They were very understaffed so service was very. very. slow. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant for a Friday night. It was extremely difficult to get people's attention if you needed something. The drinks are great. The dates and lambchops are good. I think everyone's order at our table was messed up except for the birthday girl's. Items missing, not cooked correctly, items we didn't ask for, etc. We asked for the manager several times, to no avail. I finally walked to the bar and asked if there was a manger on duty. I received a response of yes and no. I then asked if there was someone in charge tonight. He finally sent her over. She thankfully adjusted our bills and gave us a 20% discount. A few moments later the actual manager, Rob, came over. He gave us complimentary shots and deserts. He and the "manager" are the reason this review is 3 stars and not 1 star. I came here for my birthday and had a blast!! The ambience was perfect, the live entertainment had me and my friends singing all night. The music was the perfect volume where you could still hear your conversation at the table. Let's start with the gentleman that checked our IDs at the door and also took pictures of my group and I for us! Very kind and friendly! The host was very accommodating and friendly. The owner Rob came to our table multiple times to make sure we were taken care of! It happened to be his birthday too, so he sent shots and a dessert my way, and I felt so special! I want to mention that Rob moved like lightening making sure the DJ and saxophone player had the perfect volume and acoustics. In the blink of an eye he was checking in on his guest and helping his wait staff deliver water and welcome shots, On HIS birthday!! The food was AMAZING, there was not one dish that had a complaint! The salmon was cooked to perfection, lobster Mac and cheese rich and creamy, the corn had the perfect blend of flavors, the lab chops tender and juicy, the pasta dishes full of flavor. Me and my friends enjoyed our food so much we had to taste each other's food. We ordered up half the menu!
