    i got a jeep from them a little over a year ago and up until now i had no problems. initially i…read moredropped my vehicle off to get an abs sensor fixed. i was told it would take 2-3 days to fix. a whole MONTH later they finally "fixed it" during that time i constantly inquired about a loaner car and kept being told "the 2 we have are currently being used" (for a whole month though?) so after getting my car back (a month later) it was in my possession for THREE days before it start messing up AGAIN! so i drop it off AGAIN! a couple hours later someone from service called asking have i been in water because it was water in my transmission fluid. i replied "no" so he goes on to say my transmission needs to be replaced. at this point im sooooo irritated! i feel like this is something THEY did! my car wasn't in my possession long enough for me to do anything or go anywhere. now here we are going on 2 months and my car is still NOT fixed and still NO loaner car (so they say) i've been paying the note (and insurance) for a car i havent been able to utilize for exactly 1 month and 3 weeks. i absolutely do NOT recommend getting a vehicle from them! they don't care about anything but the carnote payment. till this day i still DONT have my car back even though i was told it would take 3-10 business days... this is such an inconvenience! i shouldn't be paying anyone to take me anywhere! this is insane!

Secondly they devalued my car so much…read more They damaged my car during transportation, and had to replace one of the roof rails which they did with a cheap replacement. The body shop they sent my car to absolutely trashed my car with it being littered with dirt after I had it professionally cleaned, they scratched my new car mats I had installed myself, black finger prints littered up and down the headliner, and they deeply scratched my car along the drivers side that they couldn't even buff out. To add to it, I was a couple days postpartum having to go through this and see my beautiful new car getting completely trashed. They offered to send my car back to the body shop to have them clean it, and after it was returned the car was still dirty, there were still black fingerprints all over my headliner, my mats were still scratched up, and the deep scratches were still there because they were so deep. This went on for over a month, and I regret it to this day trusting this place with my car. I hate this Carmax and the experience they gave me. And Nick will absolutely screw you over and have an attitude about you being upset that your car was devalued.

My initial thoughts was that the online offer was bogus in some way. Well after getting low-balled by some of the local dealers, I decided to try and see what Carmax had. My sales agent was Ozzy. He was awesome. From the time I walked into the store, I felt welcome. I have read all of the negative reviews left on here, but my experience was exactly the opposite. It was serious no hassle, sign here, and here's your check. They didn't try to change the offer, it was absolutely amazing. It makes me realize that the so called "friendly" dealers were all about how they can rip you off, compared to how the folks at Carmax handled themselves in such a professional manner. Shout out to Ozzy and his Manager Nick. Thank you for such a positive experience.
