I got to see dr Wong and he was 10/10. Very polite, fast. The front desk lady named Jessica she was also nice and did the beginning tests. I am from northwest Las Vegas and I am loyal customer to Christina she helped me one year ago, and I love her service. I was willing to drive to Henderson for her services. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends and family. She is the definition of excellent customer service. She's also very polite, knowledgeable, and she knows her products and always offers the best value to glasses and contacts. Owner of the eye doctor office dr. I've been coming to focused family eye are for 4 or 5 years now and they are great! The front staff is always very helpful and attentive. The doctors are detailed and thorough. The staff here is amazing. I seen Dr. Wang for my exam, and his bedside manner is phenomenal. We had such a nice conversation that I almost forgot he was shining a giant bright light into my eyes--! not to mention Josh, the front desk assistant that sat me down and thoroughly went through my prescription, helped me pick out some frames and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. it was a fantastic time, and the staff alone is the reason I keep coming back. read more

To start with everything seemed great, the dr cisit went well, and I really liked the optometrist. However, the positives stop there. I honestly feel that once they received my money, the professional and care completely stopped. It took several extra weeks for glasses to arrive, due to them being wrong the first time. I also paid extra to have a contact lense fitting. We had to call several times (over several week) to receive a prescription for the contacts. Each time I called, the front desk desk lady said she "forgot to request it from the Dr." When I finally received it, it needed a correction, which they again said they would email tge next day, it has been 3 weeks and have received nothing and they have stopped responding to my emaiis. Will never come back to the place. read more

The doctor was very pleasant and upfront about everything once he saw me. The two girls behind the counter were nice, but there was a guy there the doctor left me with after my exam. He was AWEFUL to the point I do not want to return to this place. I filled out the paperwork and approved the $39 photo scan instead of dilating my eyes IF that was needed. No one told me it was needed and they just did it saying I requested the photoscan. I don't like loud glasses on me (personal preference) only saw couple of pairs I tried on and I could not see how they were. Not because a my prescription, it's very mild and I have them for distance. It's because he grabs them by the lenses leaving heave greasy finger prints on all of them and i tried cleaning them in front of him and he simply did not care. I have two insurances and he said only thing I get was $150 off frames total. Yet when set catches my eye "your insurance gives you $170 off those" really? That's not what you just said. I decided to ask for my prescription and paperwork to think about it and shop around at home/online see if they can order something in for me. While waiting he comments that my name is very Italian. (No disrespect to Italy, its culture or its people) my name is ENGLISH. If I told you my name it is NO WHERE CLOSE to Italian. So that tells me he doesn't have the right paperwork up during this whole process with being HANDED TO HIM BY THE DOCTOR. REFUSES to give me anything besides my prescription that I just found out is missing measurements for me to order anything. As long as you don't get that guy you should be fine, but it's to the point I do not want to go back. read more

More like a glorified glasses store. They messed up the diagnosis on my eyes. When I asked to get a second opinion (I would have paid) they said to go back to Costco because they made my glasses (Costco took my insurance). Walking in, it was a so so front office with a ton of glasses. The machines they used to check my eyes in the front were dirty. The doctors office was the size of a coat closet and I don't think Dr. Griffin really listened to me when I sad this setting was good. They were really easy to schedule and one of my family members had a similar experience the next week. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Thank you. read more

Great office! I started coming here two years ago while still at my old job. My insurance still covers, so I recently went for a visit to get my eyes checked and order new glasses. Dr. Peterson was awesome! He made a few jokes while still keeping his professionalism. I felt comfortable in his presence. The older woman who works at the front desk (I think her name is Gail) was super sweet! I had to come in a couple of times for adjustments after my glasses were ordered, but the staff was quick to fix the problem and now the glasses fit perfectly. I found the prices to be reasonable compared to other places that I have gone to in the past. I like supporting a small office like this. Plus it's close to lots of other businesses if you wanted to grab lunch before or after your appointment. read more

I'm going with 4 stars because I felt the exam and doctor were friendly, and the prices were quite fair for their glasses. The one star deduction was because it took almost 3 weeks for the new glasses to come in, which probably isn't their fault. When I picked up the new glasses on a Saturday, the guy behind the counter just handed them to me and said thanks. Usually someone checks that they fit right...not this guy. And they weren't busy. Oh well...$250 for nice frames and transition lenses is worth coming back for. read more

Been going here for almost 10 years as they are a Culinary ppo vision provider. The actual eye doctors are always very professional, pleasant & friendly. Front office staff are hit and miss. The older female is extremely helpful and the male receptionist is... meh. My one complaint if I had one is that they need to crank that a/c up a little. In my opinion, this is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. He really knows his stuff and always has the latest equipment for testing. I recently had my third eye examination there. My husband and both of my kids have seen him. I think it is important that we support local businesses. His staff is very friendly, but I must admit that I have had a varying level of service from them. If my review would exclusively be about my most recent visit, the place would get a 5. Unfortunately, in the years past, I have found it to be a pain to order contacts over the phone. Past staff would get a 2 or 3 stars. Really like about this place: they have a good selection of women's glasses at decent prices. They have play glasses for kids to try on. They will give you a few free samples of contacts when you leave. Better than going to one of those chain places with the doctor having questionable qualifications. read more

I spent years looking for an eye doctor that would actually sit down and talk about my prescription with me and listen to what I want rather than tell me the standard yes or no answers. This doctor took the time to find contacts that fit my condition and even brought in multiple trial contacts for me to try them on. I 100% recommended this office. OUTSTANDING service. I stopped by when they were about to leave and they were very friendly and patient. They verified my insurance immediately so that they could explain to me what my coverage and deductible were. They found the best frames for me and all the front desk staff came to help me choose. The doctor's knowledge goes beyond eyecare. He helped me understand why I constantly lose my glasses and offered solutions for every problem. I've been here once before and the service was okay. But I called today and the guy who answered the phone (Easton is his name) was extremely rude and definitely does not have any customer service skills. I called to see if they would be able to take me in last minute because I had burning pain when putting my contacts on. He asked the doctor and told me I would have to be there before 9am. After agreeing to the time, I get a call from him. He asked if I had insurance. I told him yes and gave him my insurance number.... he puts me on hold without even letting me know so I waited I guess. He then tells me my insurance doesn't cover the visit and that I would have to pay out of pocket which I agree to. I'm assuming he was thinking I wouldn't want to pay out of pocket and just tell me "you know what, just go somewhere else" EXCUSE ME, I just agreed to pay out of pocket and you're gonna tell me to just go somewhere else. I'm sorry but this isn't how you talk to paying customers. Someone really needs to teach this guy how to speak to people or maybe he just needs to get a job he actually likes. read more

They were super friendly, the doctor was very knowledgeable and nice. They were exceedingly patient with my 5 yo son and had a good selection of frames. We were there for a while because we both got our eyes dilated, but it takes time for the stuff to work so it's not their fault. They even gave my son a prize from the treasure box! read more

This is my second year of using Dr Peterson's services for eye glasses. His service is exceptional his staff very accommodating. I have only had one problem with an appointment that I had to leave before he could see me because he was running late with another patient. If the name of your practice is "Family Focused" then people get a clue, lot of kids and things dont always go as planned with kids and doctor appointments. It was a situation that was out of their control yet Dr. Peterson was very apologetic when I came back for a rescheduled appointment. I'm very sure that he's not the lowest priced option around for glasses, however since I value my eyesight and depend on it to work at the highest level possible I don't think that price is my number one concern quality is. I will most definitely be back to Dr. Peterson many times in the future. read more
