I love coming here because the staff is always readily available. Usually when I come here, it's only me and maybe 2-3 other people tops. Paperwork is texted to you prior to the appointment so the front desk is super efficient. I also like how they explain all their policies, including a late fee or no show fee! I can't remember the cost of it, but I do like offices that have these policies so people are accountable and not just taking up appointments. Anyways as soon as I got checked in, I was lead into the room to the 3 basic machine tests, including the eye pressure machine that puffs air into your eyes. The staff was very patient with me as I had to repeat a few times and couldn't keep my eye open. From there, I saw Dr Shimizu who also asked how everything has been, asked clarifying questions, compared my results from last time, and had me read out some letters, plus look at my eyes with his bright light. After that, I got walked to the front again where the staff explained to me my eye coverage insurance and also explained the sales/specials that were going on. I ended up leaving with a new pair of $500 glasses. I didn't plan on spending that much but it's been 5 years since I had a new pair. I also got all the bells and whistles with the lens including blue light and anti glare. I figured the 50% off special helped me save a few bucks. I've been going here for years and this is my first pair of glasses from them, I usually only purchase contacts. So again, if a clean office, great staff, and patient doctors is what you're looking for, go here! You don't need to buy glasses or contacts, but the appointment experience is priceless!

When I told her I was gonna hold onto the prescription and shop around she told me I'm going to end up paying the same everywhere. I went down the street to Visionworks and got new lenses for my own sunglasses frames, plus 2 brand new frames, and 2 sets of brand new lenses for those 2 frames for $510! Both of the glasses I got at Visionworks were name brands, but not high-end name brands.

My old lenses were actually much better, so I knew something was wrong. I called to ask about their satisfaction guarantee because there is a sign in the store that says satisfaction guaranteed and no questions asked, and their website states the same thing. The first employee I spoke with was very nice and told me the manager would call me back. The manager never called. When I called again, I spoke with Alma. I found her extremely rude and condescending. Every time I asked what the guarantee covered, her answer was basically no. She told me that if my prescription had changed, they were not going to replace the lenses, and if the problem was not their fault, they were not going to replace them. She kept telling me to go back to my doctor and repeated that they would not redo the lenses. After hearing no over and over again, I was left wondering what their "satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked" policy actually guarantees. At one point I asked for her name and thought she said Ana. She responded, "A-L-M-A. It's just four letters." That completely unnecessary comment gives you a good idea of the tone of the conversation. She also told me the manager already knew about the situation but was not going to call me back because I "wouldn't like the answer." I had specifically asked to speak with the manager and never received a call. I eventually went to the Pearle Vision at 75 S Valle Verde Dr. after my neighbor recommended them. She had also had a bad experience at this location and told me the Valle Verde location had taken very good care of her. They did the same for me and worked with me until my lenses were right. I understand that prescriptions sometimes need to be adjusted. My issue is how I was treated when I asked for help and tried to understand a guarantee they advertise both in the store and on their website. I would not return to this location, and I suggest to go to the Valle Verde location who showed me that this situation could have been handled with professionalism, respect, and a genuine effort to help the customer.

About a year ago I had a warranty issue with my Meta glasses. I came to this lens crafters and they…read moredidn't have another 50in pair of Meta Glasses to switch out so I could swap out my frames. They took my info down and said they would call when the glasses were back in stock. I received a $300 warranty replacement letter that was good for up to a year. I waited a few weeks and ended up purchasing another pair from someone else since I needed my glasses and I never received that follow-up call.. I came back to Lens Crafters about 9 months later and they were able to honor my warranty letter and replace my Meta glasses and lenses. However, they had to take back my lenses from the glasses that I had to replace because they couldn't replace them from before. So now I have a working pair of Meta glasses that are useless because they took the lenses and my new pair that are very nice. I asked Wendy, the manager if there was some way I could keep the original lenses since it's there fault that I had to spend the extra $300 to replace them from before and the lenses were basically going to be disposed away. Unfortunately she wasn't able to find a solution. The store was nice, clean, and helpful but I am leaving a 3 star review instead of a Stellar 5 star review because going through their warranty process cost me an extra $300. I explained to the manager before leaving this that I would give an honest review. I read reviews about Meta's warranty issues online and I wanted to give an honest account.

You can get the eye exam and buy glasses all at the same time. What a lovely concept? Especially when an individual is struggling with that thing called "time." The eye exam went smooth and the doctor called me back in a proper amount of time. After looking through the lens and remarking one or two. No, go back, three or four we were all done . The eye exam was throughly conducted and an individual is given a print out of the scale of your eye prescription, just for your records. You can order glasses here or take the exam to go . It's your choice. It was a better experience and fit for my schedule to do it all here. They offer all the top brands it seems at fair prices . They offer a warranty plan that covers the frames for a reasonable amount. After you pick your frames they fit them for you on the spot. They show you what your new glasses will look like on you in real time. That's the entire process in a single shot. They called in less than two weeks and you are on your way . To better seeing . Although, I called this location as I had a day off and wanted my eyes checked and they had availability while the other one didn't. I'm glad the Lake Mead location was able to see me and got to experience the new doctor and workers and I have to say I like this location much more. Office is quite large. Dr Angela was amazing as she calmly walked me thru my eye issues, with options and recommendations. Teresa is who I met with after the prescription was written up. She also provided options and walked me thru what my insurance covers and irs much more than I was ever told or even knew. I am happy with their patience and thoroughness. I will be returning with my daughter.

They were closing had a quick trip so I wasn't able to get back before this week, but my Life would have it that I was working in the area so it worked out just fine.. had a pair of sunglasses that last year got knocked off the counter unbeknown to me. They were so classic. They still had a glass lens versus plastic and needed a specialty optician to assist me. Jerry was working, looked at them and immediately,knew CC how he could help?. he told me he could have them ready in 2 1/2 hours. Mind you I have held them in my eyeglass holder at my in my car for over one year.. The price was within normal limits. The customer service was excellent historically we have given them five stars again I give them five stars thank you Jerry and J. Crimi eyewear boutique. And a sidenote, I needed a screw for some other work eyewear and these are also specialty and although they could not assist me with those it wasn't because they didn't try. I've been coming to this Costco for a few years now and it's pretty solid. It does get quite busy…read moreso I recommend not trying to find a spot too close by. They frequently have lots of samples and as far as aisles go, if you've been to another Costco, it's very similar. I'm glad they've expanded the size of their gas pumps because it used to be a long wait for gas, but it's gotten significantly better. Like with all Costco's, they sell a lot of different things but usually only one or two varieties. So for instance, if you want yogurt, you got like two choices and you have to buy like 20 of them. But it can be a really good value as long as you shop within your means and don't buy too much. Don't forget you can always return it too if you don't like something. The food court is also really solid and you can get a nice cheap meal here if you play your cards right. This Costco has the AT&T key ask in it (other Costco's have other mobile phone vendors). So if you are AT&T customer consider considering becoming one it's worth stopping here because they usually have pretty good deals compared to the normal promotions.
