I have been here a couple of months after being referred to this salon by a friend and this is the first time that I was not satisfied with my service. I had made an appointment and the care for my nails was being rushed. The dip powder was not properly removed and the filing was done too much that it made my nails very thin. The use of the filing machine kept burning my cuticles after I told the nail tech that it was hurting. The gel nail polish clumped and it looks along with feels, uneven. The edges of my nails with the polish was not cleaned up. read more

I was in town again for wedding two weeks ago and had my nails done. This place has gotten busier from the last time I visited. I did gel manicure, my nails STILL LOOKS GOOD. It didn't chip or anything. I waited for 30 minutes or so which isn't too bad. I don't mind waiting since I know that my nails will come out fabulous by Lisa. As I have mentioned earlier, Family Nails is busy. There will be a wait but BE PATIENT!!! They are awesome. Everyone needs to understand that when its busy, it also stresses the nail technician.. they are doing the best they can to accommodate everyone to have less wait time. read more

I've been coming to this salon for a few months now and I love it. Everyone is super friendly, especially my go to lady - Nancy! I've tried acrylic tips and recently just went back to my natural short length nails. She always makes my hands and feet look amazing and half the time she's color picking for me because I can never make up my mind. The prices are reasonable too so it's a win win. Okay so I was charged $200 (not including tip) for services that were totally unsatisfactory. I had "long nails" and an acrylic pedicure that's it. No designs, no special powder, just a gel top coat. Now I've had private nail techs who've sculpted two inch nails on my fingers with VALENTINO powder (on my toes as well VALENTINO "Pure White"), swarovski crystals, and encapsulated nails and was never charged that much (all in one set). I never got a break down of what I was paying for. My nail also turned green under and the set lasted a week on my hands before the nails started lifting by the cuticles. I gave this place more than enough chances because Its close by and I like the idea of supporting local businesses but Today was it for Me!!!! My Gel Full sets never last more than a week!! the Guy that sits in the front is very Nasty towards Customers Especially if when askEd a question ,I witnessed him change prices and talk badly to Customersthey are Always Low on Nail Polish the Gel always seems to chip if not OPI which they are always low on. Prices went up I wasn't told until it was time to pay. most of the massage chairs are Filthy and doesn't work!! Overall don't waste you money or time !! I'm looking for another nail salon to go to cause this isn't it. read more

Got my eyelashes done there. The worker there didn't properly tape my lids to apply my new lashes. instead she kept saying open my eyes. What? Thats glue.If glue goes in your eye, that could be a severe problem and lawsuit. The girls there need to be oroperly trained on the severeness of this matter. Nobody should have they're eyes open, while lying down, and applying lashes, with glue. I tried to explan it, but she seemed to not understand. They do a good job with the lashes, but not with properly taping your eyes to avoid opening them while eyes lashes are being applied. read more

Will never go back. The lady that did my nails was old and cut 3 of my toes during my pedicure even though I specifically asked her not to cut my cuticles. I was so dissatisfied that I opted out of doing a manicure after and got a color change. My nails we're so bad I had to go somewhere else to get them fixed that same day. Went in for 2 full sets w/ pedicures for a wedding this Friday and my sister pretty much left crying. They give the best quality of work, time and attention to detail to the customers they prefer. I don't think their goal is to have returning customers. We left with horribly shaped nails and pretty pedicures which is the reason for 2 stars. read more

this is a week later review I used to go to this nail salon faithfully every two weeks, but stopped for a while and decided to give them another try, I should've knew... I scheduled an appt the day before with Lisa for 10:30 AM for a full-set & a pedi with any of the other ladies ..when I arrived at the salon it was empty no customers, just the workers & Lisa was out back cleaning..I got seated right away for my pedi, Lisa did not acknowledge me at all, which isn't usually like her. While other customers walked in Lisa asked what they would like to have done and had them all seated right away but with enough techs available. Lisa starts working on another customers nails while getting a Pedi. Mind you I have an appt for 10:30 with her. So I then asked if Don(Lisa's husband)was coming in because at this point I already knew she wasn't going to start on my nails anytime soon. After I was done with my pedi I sat in the drying chair for about an hour before Don got started on my full-set. I didn't leave until 1:45PM, & when I said that it's ridiculous the customer service is not as good, Don then responded that I was picky with my nails that's why I had to wait, HOLD ON WHAT ? I responded it's not all about the money you need to make sure your customers are satisfied at all times The customer service is HORRIBLE, the sanitation is AWFUL, they don't wash their hands after each customer. I don't recommend anyone going there especially after my experience with them just recently. Two nails broke off already and one finger has a very bad infection. read more

I had been a faithful customer at Family Nails & Spa for 4 months. I visited every 2 weeks for an acrylic refill and pedicure with Don. Don is very talented and nice BUT every single time I had a set appointment time, I was forced to wait while he finished another client. the last 2 times I visited Don, I called while on my way to the salon. I thought this would help him be more efficient and if he was too busy he'd just tell me to come another time. My final straw was when I made a 4pm appointment and at 530 Don still hadn't started on me. In fact, he never even acknowledged that I had entered the salon! I walked out and never went back. My time should be as important as the money that I spent there. read more

Lash lovers beware I really wanted to like this place. The people are nice but it's dusty and dirty. I arrived on a weekday for a full eye lash set. The back room for eyelashes and waxing is dirty. The tech allowed glue to run down my inner eye, gluing it shut. 30 mins later she is finished and I notice my eyes are itchy. She did not wear gloves, wash her hands or clean up after. I left and had to go to my doctor to get ointment because of the sticky glue and itching. My doctor removed the lashes and I spent my day off filing Rx. This is not the place to get lashes done but the nail service is better. read more

They always seem to do a good job, they are 100000x better than Vivi Nails in Randolph. It depends who you have so you have to go a few times, try a few techs and see who you like and ask for them every time because some of them don't know how to shape nails. read more

Horrible services. Owner does not guarantee the work there. Gel nails turned dark/dirty looking the next day. Owner refused to do it over without a fee. When asked to remove the discolored gel, owner said there's a fee. You must be kidding me. Wasted my money. I got gel mani and regular pedi there $48...which I paid $60 including tips. No problems collecting the money...but when you come back with complaints, nobody wants to help you. It's horrible and shameful. Go somewhere else. read more

A very small salon that's very busy. So if you are in a rush probably should make an appointment ahead of time. Nails techs all there seem to be pretty good. Had to wait a while maybe 1/2 an hour before I got attended to, which should have been notified . Nail polish chipped two days after, and two of my nails broke. Granted no heavy lifting or strenuous exercise, or heavy duty cleaning. Pretty disappointing. Would probably go back another time but maybe try a different polish and would make an appointment ahead of time. read more
