Good Food, Good Service, Good Sauces. Country-Urban Ambiance including a great music mix. We attended a family birthday here. I enjoyed every aspect of our gathering. Brisket, ribs, chicken, bbq beans, cole slaw, corn bread, chunky fries, corn on the cob. This is a top choice on my Valley BBQ list. Good pit and wood flavors. Tender, sauces. It is just too far for us to visit on a regular basis.

It had been a while since I was here last so I was happy when my friend chose this place for dinner. It was quiet in the restaurant. We must have drawn the crowd in because after we ordered it got busy! We split the big Sampler for our meal & had Cameron as our waiter. Hs service is AMAZING & he was spot on with keeping drinks coming & checking on us. He deserves to be recognized! Our meal was perfect & we even took home the rest! Thank you Famous Dave's for being the absolute best place for bbq cuisine! We shall return!

Last-minute trip to Mesa and the family and I were starving. Came across this place and initially weren't too impressed with how long it took us just to get drinks. But when we finally ordered the food did come out quickly. It was full of flavor and hit the spot. Best addition were the cornbread and the banana pudding without a doubt. Ribs were tender and the brisket has good. Will come back.

A once beloved spot that my family and I have enjoyed for years has gone down hill tremendously. From food, to service, to the vibes that just makes it not worth the expense here. We got the onion strings (equivalent to the onion bloom) good to share between 6 of us. We got their all American bbq feast with brisket and chicken strips. The food was warm, not hot. Just warm. The chicken was pink in some areas. We had to pull the chicken apart into chicken pieces to eat it , and the brisket was dry, good flavor but dry. We put bbq sauce on it but it wasn't good. Beans were cold, and the saddest part was they didn't have the hidden hot sauce available. They were out and we were a little disappointed. Service was okay, bestie was very kind and attentive. The only thing I did not appreciate was having them say our total out loud since we were paying in cash. Instead of being discreet and mindful for the surrounding tables or handing us the check book. After this visit, we won't be back. It'll be missed but it's not worth it any more.

Famous Dave's has a special place in my heart since I grew up eating here and the potato wedges in particular were my favorite. I still look forward to eating them decades later. Today I got the bread pudding for my sweet tooth and my birthday treat from Famous Dave's. It's always a winner in my book. Oh and for actual food, I got the chopped pork sandwich with potato wedges and a side of Mac n Cheese. I love the jalapeños added to the Mac, it adds a bit of extra pizzaz to an already favorite dish.

3 meat lunch plate. 2 briskets which cost $1 surcharge each , and catfish fingers. Total $16.75.

I had a $15 Famous Dave's gift card I got from a Famous Dave's Yelp Elite dinner. I ate alone. So this lunch in the picture cost $16.79 cos I ordered 3 meats, 2 are the brisket for which I had to add $1 surcharge each, and 3rd catfish fingers. The brisket was better than I remember Little Miss BBQ. Dave's brisket was so soft and you can see the fat on the edge. I love fatty brisket. This was the best brisket I ever ate in my life . The sweet spicy sauce was perfect. I like sweet BBQ sauce. The corn muffin was the best I ever ate in my life, too. It has a crusty crumbly caramelized crust and the inside was so sweet and moist. Next time I wanna buy the cornbread and pickles to take home. Mac and cheese side was good too, but next time for extra $1, I am getting the chili. Besides their lunch menu till 4 pm, they also have another $10 menu, but the $10 menu does not have brisket on it. The lunch and $10 menus can be ordered from on the weekends too. I have another $3 coupon for agreeing to get texts. I can't wait to go back to try other things on the lunch menus.

We stopped here for dinner with kids before coming back to Tucson. We were seated quickly, but there weren't many servers there. Our server did her best and we felt taken care of. BBQ was good and we'll do family platter next time.

Came in after seeing there BBQ sauce for sale in Walmart. All the pork items were okay. The chicken strips were very good especially with ranch. Corn on the cob was pure mush and tasteless and fries overcooked. Chili and beans were good. Overall the food and service was average. As we left a family with a baby in a stroller just came in and asked if hey could sit in a booth. Hostess said no. They asked for a manager who also gave them a no. It was a Monday night and they weren't busy. The manager let them turn around and leave. Not sure how the place stays in business.

My boyfriend was craving BBQ and I was so happy this restaurant offered fish so we could both get what we wanted lol. He said the burnt ends are his favorite! I got the sweetwater catfish fingers and they were really yummy with the sauce. The coleslaw was delicious. Loved all the sides honestly! The Mac n cheese is really unique because it has chopped up jalapeños and corn in it. It was really tasty, I just wish it was hot when it came out though. I tried all of their sauces and they were all sooooo good!!!! They have decently priced draft beer as well. The restaurant is very spacious and I loved the seating because it screams barbecue vibes somehow LOL. The server helping us was really attentive and friendly. She came around often and was very very pleasant! Definitely recommend Famous Dave's to everyone (even if you're a pescatarian) (maybe not vegan.) :P

An entire full order of fried pickles. Only 12?! For $7? No thanks. Sauce is a letdown as well. Breading too sweet.

There is plenty of bar space if you're popping in for a drink.. of course, the actual bar that runs along the shelves of liquor, and there is also a bar on the other side of a roll-up door, perfect for people who come with dogs. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

Cocktails were made well, I'd come back and try others. Our friends suggested The Hudson which worked for me, it's been sitting on my list for a while. Bar food was pretty good. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

Guests of more than two bring the conversation level fairly high and the group of five who arrived behind me had the place uncomfortably loud. It reminded me of my ASU Chuck Box days. Service 4/5 Being my first visit I wish there could have been more time to have the Menu selections explained. I defaulted to my order takers recommendations. As it turned out those suggestions were nice. Food 5/5 I choose the Arroz Con Pollo Jalapeño & Ham popper Empanada Sopa Verde The Aaroz Con Pollo was unique, fresh and delicious. Interesting creation with exciting flavors. I would order this again. Great portion. The Jalapeños & Ham popper Empanada was on the small side when compared to Mexican bakeries I purchased them at. That said the selections here are many and unique! Mine was outstanding. The Jalapeño popper and ham in their perfectly cooked pastry complimented each other so well, I was not disappointed with this recommendation and would order this again! Sopa Verde was a great portion. It included premium garden vegetables including spinach, rice, alvacado, peas, fresh white chicken meat and a salsa verde that added another flavor. This was a wonderful palette treat and another item I would order again. For me Food is this restaurants strong point. Atmosphere driven by acoustics not as much. The dinner option is honestly such a steal for the amount of excellent food you can get. For $35/person, you can order unlimited marinated short rib, hanger steak, smoked garlic pork belly, beef tongue, and so many more great cuts. Lots of veggie options and some seafood are available too. All of it looked and tasted great! There's also a huge buffet bar that I haven't seen in other KBBQ spots before. There's plenty of fruit, fried items (including a crazy good fried coconut sago balls that I've never had before), and desserts like full Melona bars. This means grabbing the banchan yourself, but I enjoy this to load up on my favorite kimchi items instead of waiting ages for seconds. The space is huge and clean, and service is friendly and fast. I also love the option to add AYCE hot pot for $5, though one option is more than satisfying. I'll definitely be back to try their hot pot since they seem to have a massive sauce bar with options (like my fave sha cha sauce!) that I haven't seen at other local spots.
