We went in there for lunch yesterday. The food wasn't that great, husbands cornbread wasn't even cooked all the way through. Burger was bland & food was cold when we got it. The service was worse! Not once did they come back to check on us or offer drink refills. Won't be coming back to this location. read more

Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Food was a meh for me. Side salad is not described on the menu and I ordered it assuming the basics. The salad was full of good stuff, but unfortunately for me, it had egg on it. Another was prepared for me sans egg and the original was gladly consumed by another diner in our party. Chicken tenders were overdone and my side order was wrong. Correct side order was provided and again, another diner in our party enjoyed the mistake. Everyone at the table enjoyed their sassy salad and/or brisket dinners. I formed an opinion about eating off a metal tray - I don't like it. Not worth it even at half the price. Microwaved, fake mac'n'cheese. Catfish fingers were overcooked and bland. Fellow diner had a beef brisket platter which consisted of a thin layer of meat on a piece of bread. Wow. Two 1-meat 1-side lunch platters, 2 sodas & 2 side salads and the total was nearly $40. Waitress and cleanliness of the place were o.k. but the food is definitely 1-star. read more

I recommend the brisket and famous fries here. The brisket is juicy and flavorful. The famous fries are crispy and have just the right amount of seasoning. Their feast for two is definitely worth the high price I paid for it. My boyfriend and I had lots leftovers for lunch the next day. Also their service is much better there during their non busy hours around 3-4 pm, the food comes out the kitchen faster. read more

So, we had a mishap with the day we needed catering for the wedding rehearsal in Zillah, WA. It was scheduled for the wrong day by ourselves. NO FAULT of the restaurant what so ever. When we called to find out where the food was, they mentioned that it was not until tomorrow. We explained the situation and the manager himself brought out all the food needed to feed everyone within an hour and a half! They totally didn't have to do that, and am so grateful for them saving the day!! So, THANK YOU Famous Dave's and manager for fixing OUR mistake and being so kind as to accommodate! Went to famous daves for the first time tonight.....not very impressed...good beer selection..uhh except they required us to have 2 forms of ID to drink WTF?? I don't have 2 forms of ID..whatever our server was a douche, my meat was all dry and they serve their food soaked in bbq sauce on paper so it gets soggy and rips into my food!!! annnnnnd their was a random piece of broccoli in my meat makes me think their kitchen is dirty read more

Great place for their herb roasted chicken. Ribs in all restaurants are hit or miss. Sometimes ribs can be a little too dry. The ribs here were fine. Not out of this great but pretty decent. This can be a little loud. It just seems that there always a screaming kid every time I'm here. read more

I went for thier Ribeye steak. When I went to order, the waitress informed me they only serve them medium or more done. I don't like a steak burnt, and will not pay for that. I left disappointed. Do they only hire people who know how to burn food? I'm never going back. If I want overdone food, I can go to McDonald's for a quarter the price!! read more

Stopped during happy hour in the bar. Seem to be to many people working in the bar but service was slow and confusing. Appetizers and beer selection was great. Fried pickles were good but ended mushy. BBQ is very good! Brisket is the best. read more

So, this is the second time I've been to this restaurant. The first time was pleasant enough, however last night we ended up walking out without being served. We were told we could sit in the bar immediately, so we did. Ten minutes later, still no menus, no water, and two servers walked past us a few times and didn't acknowledge us. Now, there was a wait for tables in the main restaurant, but three tables in the bar left as soon as we sat down. They may have been short staffed, and they were clearly busy, but even if you can't get to my table immediately, acknowledging me and saying you'll get to me goes a long way. I hope our next visit there is a better one. read more

Famous Dave's is a fantastic place to go to when you're craving BBQ! Granted, the service here is a bit slow, but the wait is so worth it. The other issue I have with this particular restaurant, is this one doesn't give you complimentary chips as an appetizer like the other Famous Dave's restaurants. Hey as Yakima goes this place is pretty good, but be prepared for VERY VERY SLOW service. And don't blame your server. More often than not they are understaffed and the kitchen is super slow. Went on $2 margaritas and tacos night(mare). Got one of each is almost 2 hours, while regular menu orders were processed just like normal. Skip the promotion nights - they are not prepared for a rush. But as BBQ goes this is pretty good and as Yakima eats go it's (only works here) above average. If you are from out of town lower your expectations and you'll be fine. read more

We went here with friends on a Friday evening. We expected to wait about 30 minutes and they sat us within 20. We ordered our food and the food was good. We all ordered root beers and did not know they were more expensive than regular soda. They were $5. That was ok, but what was not ok was the fact that we asked our waiter if they were refillable and he said yes but did not come back once during our meal to offer refills. We paid $5 for one glass of root beer. Not impressed. Overall, the food is good but the service is slow and poor. read more

My family and friends were repeat customers got to know a few of the employees there, the food is great that's the only reason why we kept going back, they have pretty good specials but unfortunately the manager sucks there. Food is likened to grocery store deli food. Poor service and owners don't respond too corporate forwarded comments.

I expect more food for $20 a plate. The service was mediocre but good enough. Don't eat here on an empty stomach and expect to be full afterward. The paper the food was served on tore off into the food after it was saturated with barbecue sauce and I had to pick it out. Overall very dissatisfied by the whole experience. read more

My boyfriend and I went here for one of our nights out and enjoyed it very much. Its a nice place to eat for a couple or a family. We absolutely loved the food it was very good and had great service. We would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone. read more
