I had a very disappointing experience with customer service from Marisela and Natalie. Their attitudes were unprofessional and unwelcoming from the start. They didn't even greet me when I came into the store let alone even know I was there and When I asked for help, neither of them seemed interested in assisting me, all they did was talk about there boyfriends and other unprofessional nasty things and they made me feel like I was bothering them rather than doing their job.they just stood at the register doing nothing but laughing out loud and sitting there talking about stuff that shouldn't be in the work place very unprofessional Instead of offering support or trying to help me,they were dismissive and provided little to no help. Good customer service should make customers feel respected and valued, but unfortunately that was not the case during my visit. I recently ordered three pairs of shoes online. Two pairs of toddler shoes and one adult. I never received the one pair of toddler shoes and the other pair that was supposed to be a converse size 7 toddler is a converse women's size eight. I was in the store with my husband looking at the Crocs .. there were 2 signs next to each other one said 29.99 the other 19.99 we were looking at the slides and couldn't tell which price belonged to which shoe.. so we looked at the number on the tags .. according to the shoes we had the price should have been 19.99 but when we got to the register the cashier said they were 24.99? I've come in here numerous times over the years and have always had great service. Once, I bought some boots online and had to return it to order a smaller size, since the shoe was not available in-store. The cashier/manager was very helpful and even noticed the price had dropped since a week ago and honored the new price! Great boots, great price. I only knocked it down a star because I have to wear wide shoes and many times they do not carry a lot of wides in-store. This is why I end up ordering online all the time. Every time I visit this store the workers follow your every move like a hawk ! Obviously management is paying for them to be security and make sure no one is stealing ‍! Even if you caught someone stealing your only going to a pat on the back by your manager. Might I add no one asked if I needed help they just made sure one employee is manning each isle and when you do try things on they suggest you move to the middle where they can keep eyes on you at all times ! My husband doesn't like to be stared at for no reason by anyone so he straight up asked the employee if he could her with something and she walked away. I took them to the counter a lady name DAISY " assistant manager " so she said looked at my shoes and told me I had worn them which is definitely not true no scuff markets just a little dusty from trying them on in store she fought we me and told me she wasn't returning them and that I had to wait for the manager she was in a meeting. I experienced a return today that made me question their policy and business ethics. I bought four pairs of crocs online using the buy one get one half off and another coupon. I had to return two pairs and wasn't about to pay to ship them back. I completed the return and realized the amount didn't match what I paid. I asked the cashier to clarify why it's less and she states she has to return all four pair I bought then buy back the pair that I am returning which gives me a $36 refund. But I paid $38.24 each for the two pair I'm returning. I spent $118 total and I'm only going to get $36 back? That makes no sense at all. Shouldn't I be refunded the amount i paid? I decided to buy the shoes back and now I have a purchase on my credit card and have to wait for a refund. This was a waste of time and I definitely won't be purchasing anymore shoes from famous footwear. read more

I talked to the manager and he gladly handed over a ton of shoe boxes. He even bagged them for me! Then he told me I could come back whenever I needed to. A couple of days later I came back looking for more shoe boxes. The manager wasn't there yet the employee let me have a go at the recyclable stuff. Jackpot! Two days ago I bought two pairs of shoes for work at this store. On 10/09/13, I attempted to return one of the pairs because they didn't fit right and were not very well made. Assistant manager Naoemi said plainly that I had used them and couldn't return them because they couldn't be sold "in this condition". I have bought shoes before from different stores and I always try them out inside the house and am extremely careful not to dirty them. I also keep the tags just in case. I was skeptical at first before buying them and was very conscious of the fact that I might have to return them. I wore them (inside the house) for less than an hour and I was mostly sitting in front of my computer during that time. I had also tried them out inside the Famous Footwear store. The assistant manager Naoemi pointed to two or three tiny flecks of something on the bottom of the sole as indication that I had worn them, she also said she saw hair (I didn't see it). I personally could have taken off the fleck off with my nail and the hair??? Your assistant manager made me feel like I was a scammer trying to scam the company after "using" the shoes...again, I had never had a problem like this! I tried to reason with Naoemi that I tried the shoe inside the store and that even inside the store, the "flecks" could have been picked up. I will purposely leave the shoe as I presented it to the assistant manager, just to prove my honesty and the bad judgement of this assistant manager. I know that the shoe is as clean as I got it from the store and that any "fleck" embedded in the sole could just as easily have been done inside their store and could easily be flicked-off with my fingernail. Even though I would rather resolve this in a businesslike manner, I am willing to complaint to the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/us/Consumer-Complaints/) and the California Consumer Affairs (http://www.dca.ca.gov/consumer/complaints.shtml) or whatever means necessary to receive fair treatment in this matter. read more

Location: Across from Ross, spacious, never too busy, well-lighted. There is also a TV and a pretty colorful kids section near the back. Selection: Various shoes at retail prices. They keep their entire stock out it seems, so you know if they carry your size. Also have a sales rack in the back that has shoes from 5-25 dollars. I have found some pretty trendy shoes for cheap, however, because they are trendy they don't always last beyond a season (in terms of fashion, not durability). Bought doc martins on Monday. This was their only pair of the doc martins. Size was slightly bigger than what I wanted but went ahead with the purchase. Cashier explained the return policy. "Receipt, original box, 30 days." I wore the shoes twice to work at the office. Decided shoes were too loose after all. Brought shoes in on Friday for return. Return was refused because I wore the shoes twice. This was not on the receipt info or verbal instructions. Nice place to shop for shoes. I had a return, however - purchased online and came into this store for the free return. The sales clerk was very friendly and polite. While she attended the refund, another person came up and was waiting in line, and the clerk immediately called for another associate to come up to the front to assist the customer.
