The Owner helped me on one of the hottest days of the year to date and I'm sure I tired her out with all the shoe try-ons but hopefully, she appreciated my purchase of not one, but two pairs of higher priced shoes.

My husband found a pair he wanted to try on so he got all checked in and then we waited.. and waited and waited. As employees kept coming in and out of the back room just looking out the door with tables in hand and did nothing! The other employees were helping other customers. they have a lot going on there with treadmills to try running with the shoes, they have some other stuff that helps to show how you stand and what kind of support you need. Looking around it seemed like a complete cash grab! Good for them for selling the illusion! So we waited about 30 min before one of the guys was like I'll take care of you guys soon! My husband asked for 3 different pairs of running shoes, he brought out one that was correct the others he said they didn't have the right color but here are these ones! As he tried on his shoes, I let the young man know I just needed the ones I picked out and I wanted to buy them no need to try them on! I feel at that moment he knew there was no up sale for me and he was kind of short after that! So my husband picked the ones he wanted, we went up to pay and he hit us with the VIP package $20 dollars to be able to try the shoes for 90 days and if we didn't like them we could return them! We declined the offer, he kept trying to the point where the other gentleman stepped in a little more FIRM TONED and said " if you do not do the VIP package you will not be able to retain your shoes if put on outside the store, they need to be on brand new shape not worn at all." We said that's ok thank you we understand. They still tried putting us in the system and said it's in case we forgot the receipt if we wanted to return then we wouldn't be able to! It's like you all just told us we weren't going to be able to anyway. No thanks! About$400 dollars later we say thank you and they said Nothing! No GOOD BYE NO THANKS FOR SHOPPING HERE.. nothing We were nonexistent when we didn't take the bait! If I didn't need to head out of town I would have waited on the gift and gone else where. They are not worth the time! I know the shoes we bought were worth it, just wish we spent that money at a facility that would have valued our business and time. We will NEVER BE BACK!!

When I went to pick-up, they only fulfilled 2 pairs of the earrings. I asked why the 3rd pair was missing and the associate working in the pick up area said it's probably out of stock. I told her it was still showing in stock at their store and I was not notified that it was not in stock. I walked over to the Christmas earrings where the other two styles that were included in my pick-up order and there were 5 pairs of the earrings that they excluded. I ended up going to the checkout line and pulled up my app/order and asked the associate if she could release the fulfillment pending order and this should show it was fulfilled within the store/I picked up and charge my credit card that I placed the order or cancel the fulfillment pending and I can pay now. She told me she cannot do either and that they are going to ship the earrings to me. I told her I need them now for parties that is why I chose to pick up in person, She told me I'm going to have to call kohls.com and see if they can cancel the order. I asked her why did they do this when they were in stock on the shelf and imspecificsllynrequested to pick-up and she said well sometimes if they think it's a popular item and there are 1-5 left, they will leave on the shelf for the customers coming in the store, not customers ordering for pick-up ... WTH??? I do not recommend that you ever do a pick-up order at this store as this store as the sales associates are not trained or make any effort to provide assistance or find out the correct answers ... go into the store and find it yourself. I called Kohls.com and they said that they can only cancel orders in less than 10 minutes from when order was placed because AI automatically puts it in fulfillment status and once it's in that status, they cannot do anything and if I want to send back, I will have to pay the ship back cost. So the local Kohls store did not follow the customer order request, they did what they wanted to do and now I have to use my time/gas to go back to the store to return? By the way, it's prime Christmas shopping time and they only had one associate working the register at 5pm ... line was so long and I waited in line over 20 minutes because this issue could not go through the self checkout. I also went to the Sephora area when I was there and asked for assistance with a lip gloss I could not find and the girl acted like I was asking her to do the impossible. She said, if you don't see it we probably don't have it. I asked her if she could check the drawer where the brand/products were displayed and she gave me attitude because I asked her to look. I explained to her that I did not want to have to go to another location if they had it in stock because I have a party to go to soon. She then told me to go up the street to the stand alone Sephora store. I did go to the stand alone Sephora store and was immediately greeted when I walked in the door, asked if they could help and they found exactly what I needed. I told her that Kohl's associate sent me because she did not want to help me and the associate at the Sephora store told me that that is not the first time she's heard this and wonders why the Sephora still exists in Kohls ... my thoughts exactly.
