Worst cashier and customer service. I'm not sure of the name of the girl that helped me, but when I walked in an older women and a younger women were talking and they seemed annoyed like I interrupted their conversation. I ended up buying a pair of shoes in store and shipping another pair to the store, the younger cashier seemed annoyed that I didn't ship it to my house instead. And then when my shoes got delivered, I got an email at 3 pm, I got a call a few minutes after 3 that I was unable to answer because I was at work. In the voicemail I can hear the younger and older ladies talking, and she doesn't realize it went to voicemail, she proceeds to act like I'm the one that's stupid bc Im not talking to her over the phone, maybe because...it's a voicemail! Quality/Quantity - Huge store, with decent selections. I am shopping to replace my Arizona Birkenstocks and to hopefully find a travel woven loafer. Birkenstocks - Fully in stock, but rarely on sale. Next time they are on sale for $99.99, I will buy two pairs. And on their website they do not even carry the Honolulu Birkenstocks... Woven Loafer - Finally found one I liked at Dillards, except for the color. There were NO woven loafers here at all. Just ordered 4 shoes from DSW, as they sell the same/similar brands for less. Will update if needed. They also have a slightly larger online selection. Atmosphere - Good size, clean organized. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm and until 6pm on Sundays and Mondays. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Self service. Price - Reasonable. Birkenstocks have price control, so it almost doesn't matter where you buy them from. The regular prices are comparable to other shoe stores for most brands. Walked into the store and employees were very courteous upon arrival, greeting and saying hello. Yet all three of them were having a conversation and did not offer help. I was looking for work shoes, and went straight to the sneakers against the back wall. Found a few things that might have worked for my new job, looked at the clearance rack, tried on a few things, then headed back up the wall where I had previously looked at the sneakers. Took some photos to send to my boss, because I am supposed to be wearing all black shoes. The Pumas fit really well, however they were supposed to be all black and there was a small emblem with neon pink on them. I was waiting for my boss to respond before purchasing. Unfortunately, I could not buy the sneakers with any color on them. So I headed to the front door. One of your associates yelled at me "ma'am I need those sneakers that are on your feet" my response was "you mean the shoes that I walked in with?" she looked at me, then gave a half assed apology as I walked out the door. Maybe if your employees spent more time focused on customer service instead of each other you would have more customers. I was accused of stealing shoes that I had worn into the store and I am mortified with what was insinuated. I will not return. This weekend we were fortunate enough that there was a Yelp coupon to save 25%! We didn't know until we arrived and checked in, always have to pay attention on your Yelp app :) They had a decent selection of shoes at reasonable prices. After shopping 3 other stores the wife and I both ended up buying shoes from here. They had a good selection in their clearance area if you aren't looking to spend too much. Their customer service was the best, out of this store and the 3 others we visited. This will be my first, and possibly my only stop next time I need some reasonably priced footwear. read more

To me, a shoe store is a shoe store. You are only going there if you are in fact, looking for shoes. Famous Footwear has been at this location for quite a few years and they have a good selection of men's, women's and kid's shoes. They don't have a TON of different shoe styles, but I'm sure trying to supply shoes to everyone's taste in every size imaginable would be extremely difficult. The location is convenient, the parking is convenient, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. They also have a rewards program, so if you've been shopping here without using your loyalty card, you're missing out on coupons and extra deals on shoes. And if you're like me and lose every single one of those cards from every store you have them at, they can look you up by name too. This location has a great selection of clearance items and it seems like they are always running a sale. Whether it's a buy one at regular price and get one half off or my personal favorite, buy one on clearance and get the second pair on clearance half off. That's right, I scored two pairs of shoes for $60. Normally these would have been $200! And I earned points on top of it - win! read more

This Famous Footwear seems smaller than other ones. Their selection here seemed very limited. Almost all the shoes I saw on their website weren't available in the store. What really pissed me off is the lady who was there when I made returns. I went to return shoes with the receipt that I bought online. I didn't have the credit card that I put it on and they said that they cannot grant a refund on a different card.... Once in awhile when I have gone for returns, the store has let me use a different card without a problem. Not here. Ended up having to get store credit. read more

This store made me so happy! I have been on the hunt for comfortable trail running/hiking shoes for a year, and already returned 3 pairs to REI becasue of blisters etc.. Sierra Trading Post is next door and I picked out a pair of comfortable Vasque hiking shoes, but then I went next door to Famous Footwear and found NIKE ACG trail shoes! OMG I was so excited, I wear Mens 10.5 Nike's and they always fit my feet perfect. Unfortunately they did not have these shoes in the store, BUT*** and this is the great thing about Famous Footwear, they located and are having them shipped to my house in my size for FREE! For a man with extra wide feet, it is difficult to find a store that caries shoes that fit and don't cost a fortune. Famous Footwear on the other hand had name brand shoes; like Nike, Adidas, and Asics; with wide sizes in stock. The staff was friendly and willing to help clarify how to find the specific sizes I was looking for. I was also not followed around the store and badgered about whether or not I needed help. If all this were not enough, the prices are fantastic. Name brand shoes regularly priced at 100+ dollars are all selling for around $60, which I feel is more than reasonable. This is a great place to shop if you are trying to find the styles you want for a price that won't bleed your wallet dry. read more

I went in a few weeks ago to buy my three year old new shoes. I had an associate measure him and she sold me a size 11. After leaving the store wearing the shoes we got home (hour away) only to realize they were huge on him. Had him re measured at Nike and they were a size and a half to big. Went to return and Brain the store associate refused, ok I can live with that, but was absolutely so rude and dismissive I couldn't believe it. You need to train your employees not to speak to people that way. read more

Went to FF for a pair of brown dress shoes today. Unfortunately athletic shoes dominate, and what few dress shoes they have are mostly black. So I loosened my criterion to dress or work shoes, still found only 4 styles to choose from. Ended up with a pair of Dockers, after trying all the styles in multiple sizes. I was there a long time. So, the four stars are really there for the staff. I think my visit spanned a shift change or breaks or something, because I had help from two staff members, both of whom were great. read more
