They kept me in my car for over an hour. They did something wrong that led to them having to run to multiple shops to fix whatever the issue was while I sat there in my car with my child. They said they would throw in a free cabin filter for my trouble, and today I discovered that never happened. What a disappointment. Will never be returning. read more

I used Famous Quick Lube for a simple oil change, and I can assure you I won't be going back. I prepaid for an oil change with Groupon. Groupon covers everything except the tax, and any oil over 5 quarts. My car takes exactly 5.7 quarts with the filter. They charged me $13.49 for an extra 1.5 quarts. Then they continued to junk fee me, with a $5.99 "shop supply" charge and a $5 oil filter charge for a "non-standard" oil filter. I have had this vehicle over 7 years and I happen to know it takes a standard filter. I have NEVER been upcharged for a oil filter in 7 years. So basically they overcharged me $19.55. I protested before I ever swiped my card, but with them holding my car keys hostage, I had no choice but to pay them whatever they demanded, to get my car back. read more

Ladies I went there on my way home because I thought it would be a quick in and out, I was assisted by a middle eastern fellow named Saiid I think. He was not a gentleman and tried to skim me. This is what happened, he wanted to upsell me to some unnecessary stuff like a engine clean and I said no. He said let me finish and continued to talk, I still said no. He said the car was finished and I went outside with my kids and popped the hood. I asked him why the coolant or the wiper fluid wasn't filled up. He tried telling me that it is supposed to be on E, WTF!! Yes u heard it right, when I insisted he walked away screaming "Oh my godddd" I am pissed because I hate being skimmed and lied to because I'm a woman. I even asked when I pulled in if they top off and he said of course, now to see him acting like I'm a bother. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! ILL NEVER USE THIS OR ANY AFFILIATED OIL CHANGE AGAIN. Wish I could give 10/5 stars if I had the option. I went to get a quick oil change from another shop earlier today (Take 5 on Edgewood). After driving my car for a mile I noticed this weird rattling noise and the oil light indicator was on, so I went back to the shop and the tech told me it wasn't an oil issue because he filled the tank. He told me to go to a mechanic. So I went to this shop and they told me that 1) there was probably a leak, 2) the transmission fluid needed to be checked at the dealership, and 3) the oil tank wasn't completely full. Because they knew I had gotten poor service at Take 5, they only charged me $20 for the oil change because they felt pity and understood that this could happen to anyone. Now driving my car and the oil light indicator is off and there is no more rattling noise. They are excellent and I highly recommend them! read more

They advertise a $19.95 oil change special, but I suspect most folks are ineligible due to technological needs for newer cars. Regardless, I got everything taken care of for a reasonable rate. I went in for an oil change and they scammed me. They said they were going to top off the fluids, but then when it was time to pay I saw they charged me $100 for topping them off. They apparently changed the cabin filter too, adding $50. The oil change was expensive as it is, but everything was $240 and they NEVER informed me of any additional charges. Do not go here. I have been using this facility for the past 2 years for 4 of my vehicles. After my most resent visit on 8/20/2018 after approximately 30 mile my engine began a very loud knock coming from the right side of the engine. I immediately drove to one of their facilities and that store advises that I went back to the Park Avenue store where they checked the oil level and told me that it was nothing they did wrong and when I asked if they could hear were it sounded like it was coming from? I was told it was above my pay grade and I left not knowing what was going on and engine ran great when I had stopped the afternoon before and now it has a major knock in the engine. I drove it home and parked it and took it in to a local repair facility for them to trouble shoot and give me a price. They determined that the failure was the timing chains on the front of my 5.4 Ford engine. They found the chain tensioner that require oil flow and pressure to keep the chain tight was most likely the issue. They changed out these parts and after repair started engine and much of the noise remained after this. I went and listened to it and drove it a short distance and then myself and the repair facility determined that there was still something not right about the engine. Their technician removed valve covers and found that most of the valve lash adjustors were failing. They trouble shot more to determine a cause and found low oil flow to the engine on the right bank only and oil pressure on the high side on the left side. They removed the rear camshaft cap where the oil feeds to the right bank of engine to find a piece of plastic to be stuck in the passage has cause a restriction to oil flow. After looking at this piece it was the shape of the protective plastic for a new oil filter that had somehow made its way into the oil filter before it was spun onto the engine. When I contacted the owners they say sense their camera shows the filter being spun on the engine that they accept no fault. This vehicle has been serviced by this place only the last 2 years and the only way this could have gotten into this engine was through the oil passage that originates at the oil filter base. I have over 30 years of engine rebuild experience and they basically have told me I'm full of shit and they have no responsibility for this. The owner even told me that they have now made changes to their process on their filter installation when I met with the owner but they did nothing wrong. You make changes to process if you see a issue. WARNING TO ALL AVOID ALL 11 OF THEIR FACILITIES AS THEY WILL NOT HELP . read more

So I went in for an oil change on 9/26/2017. They did the oil change and then the guy walked in with my air filter. I bought this air filter 3 weeks ago. The guy said it was dirty. I told him to put it back in. I heard the hood of my truck SLAM. When he drove it around I noticed the hood strip was just hanging by 1 clip. The guy brought out a screw driver and tried to fix it but ended up bending the metal where one of the clips attach. I told him to stop when I noticed what he was doing. I shut the hood and the strap that has hanging on broke the rest of the way off. When it did the guy says oh man, look at what you did. Stay clear of this place. Total dip shits. read more

No good deed goes unpunished. I saw these guys standing out in front of their business, trying to attract customers. I should have kept driving. The 19.95 oil change quickly became 49.99 but I expected that. What I didn't expect was for them to strip out the drain plug on my oil pan. Thanks to their incompetence, I am looking at about a $1200.00 expense to get my oil pan replaced. I normally change the oil myself but today, I thought I'd support the local economy.
