His Bloody Mary's are top notch , and he knows how to work the bar. What I mean by that is everyone at the bar feels welcomed and appreciated. From the ownership to the close friends and friendships I have made there says a lot about this place. The food, service and staff are top notch. They have different specials through the week.. We wanted some wings so we rode bikes here, only a mile from home. It just happened to be half price wing day so we had two pounds for the price of one. We had four different sauces on them. Our experience was completely ruined by our server, Melissa. From the moment we sat down, she was rude, dismissive, and seemed far more interested in every other table than ours. While she was attentive and friendly to other guests, we were consistently ignored and treated like an inconvenience. The worst part was when broken glass was left on our table, resulting in my friend Colby cutting his arm. Not only was this a serious safety issue, but Melissa showed little concern and failed to handle the situation professionally. There was no genuine apology, urgency, or effort to make things right. Throughout the evening, she repeatedly shook her head at us and displayed an attitude that made us feel unwelcome. Good service starts with respect, and unfortunately, that was completely absent. This was genuinely some of the worst service we've ever experienced. We came expecting a pleasant dining experience and left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and disappointed. Praise God you were open when dairy Queen was not and Putney's stopped serving. I ordered a Salted Carmel Brownie and the staff was so sweet they gave it to me for free cause it was my birthday. My family comes here very often and have never had a problem. We came tonight and were served by Nina who had a horrible attitude from the second we sad down. We asked for the table to be wiped and she walked away without saying a word. When our joiners got there she dropped off a drink and didn't say a word to them. We ordered food and when the wings came out the wrong flavor we didn't even complain because we gave her the benefit of the doubt that she was having a bad night. At one point all of our drinks were empty and as we were telling her what we'd like a refill on she interrupted us with a nasty tone tone to let us know she only has 2 hands as if we expected her to do it all at once. At that point we lost our appetite and asked for the bill. When she brought the bill we asked for her name for a review and she IMMEDIATELY changed her tone. At no point were we rude, snappy, waving her down, or unpleasant to her even though she was acting as if it was an inconvenience to serve us. I don't know if she had a bad day, if she isn't happy with her job or that's just her demeanor but it was the worst service I've ever had. read more

First visit at this Famous Sam's location. Happy hour conveniently started soon after our arrival for a late lunch 2pm. Prices seemed a little higher than other location on Oracle but the portions don't disappoint. Hand cut frys on both a half Reuben and half a fish filet. Excellent waitress was busy but right on time w cleaning table, waters, and meal. outside patio and plenty of inside seating, lots of tv/screens. Definitely return when in the area for lunch. read more

We went here for the Crawfish Festival this past Saturday. We did not have tickets ahead of time since they were sold out but got there at 1pm, got right into line, and were able to be seated by 2pm. Fortunately they had plenty of seating inside the restaurant since it was so hot outside. I love the live band and dancing and the idea behind everything. Unfortunately, the portion size was ridiculously small. If you've had crawfish before, you know that there is very little meat in each one. Therefore you normally get a huge pile of them or several pounds. As you can see in my picture, the portion was tiny and maybe the size of an appetizer, not worth $20. It can with a tiny corn on the cob, cold sausage and a tiny coleslaw. read more

Wow! Who da thunk it? I found an awesome sports/pool/"divey " pub in a strip mall! Complete with a spitfire of a bartender and staff this place made me feel like a "regular"'the minute I walked in the door. Now I had been in once before, about a month ago on a visit to Tucson to burry my Dad, but this time, Ericka remembered me. This time I tried the food. OMG! I got the pastrami sandwich with sweet potato fries. I was NOT disappointed. Pro Tip: Get a side of (mayo forward) coleslaw, add black pepper and put it on the sandwich. WOW! My boyfriend and I visited Famous Sam's for a late dinner. Our visit started off rocky when the server offered us drinks. I asked if they had any kind of drink menu to which she responded no. No offer of any suggestions, so I ordered a soda instead of a bar drink. We asked for a few more minutes to review the menu, so our server left our drinks and went to chat with her coworkers by the bar. I don't mind the chatting except it took her longer to come back to take our order than was necessary. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip appetizer, the French dip sandwich, and the grinder sandwich. It took at least twenty minutes for our appetizer to come out, and it was cold with the tomatoes on top being completely unripe. We were very hungry, though, so we ate about 2/3 of it. Our sandwiches came out about 5 minutes later. The grinder was fine, but nothing to write home about. The prime rib dip was incredibly dry, which would have been fine had the au jus not been so incredibly salty that I couldn't use it. That is saying something since I love salt. To top things off, we were unaware that it was Karaoke night. We fortunately were sitting at the back table, however, the music was so loud that there was no possibility of continuing a conversation. We got to listen to plenty of singers, though, thanks to our server not coming back to check on us once until long after we had both finished our meals. I had to stare her down just to get her to come over, so we could request our check. It was still another 15 minutes before we were finally cashed out and able to leave. I do like the new location here. Its large and spacious. All the fun, food and spirits of a regular famous Sam's. I ordered the nachos and was surprised at just how big the serving was. They were pretty good, but they gave me a little squeeze packet of sour cream that was about enough for 5 or 6 nachos. It's always frustrating when restaurants short you on condiments. I would have asked for more, but it took over 30 minutes to get the nachos. Very nice wait staff, just a little busy at the time I guess. All in all, I would day it was a good experience and I can see myself returning to this location. read more

We checked this place out for dinner so the hubby could get the Friday special of Fish & Chips. Needless to say, there isn't much on the menu for me who is a vegetarian...but I made do with a salad and mozzarella sticks. Restaurant.com has a gift certificate that you can get to save some money on your meal. The place was clean, tables marked as being sanitized, socially distanced tables, staff wearing masks and patrons expected to wear masks when coming in and moving around. We bought five tickets to this restaurant's Crawfish Boil event June 5th, 2021, for the first seating at 11am. We arrived about ten minutes before 11am. By noon, about three tables had been served. Then we started seeing dozens of pickup orders being bagged and given out to pickup people. Meanwhile, there's a huge crowd/line of the people with noon tickets, because they can't be seated.. because the whole restaurant is full of 11am seatings who haven't been served yet! Whoever was managing this event should have balanced the prioritization of groups differently. No one even tried to communicate the reason for the wait to us, or anyone else in the restaurant. So I'm not sure what the cause of it was. The patio seating area didn't even have misters, so I can only imagine how those poor people felt waiting over an hour for their food. When the food came out, it was relatively flavorless. The potato's and corn absorbed a bit of the boil seasoning, but the crawfish sucked. They also forgot to give us sausages, then later came around and gave us some - they were dry and overcooked. We had to ask for napkins. They did not provide any moist towelettes. They were trying to upcharge $2 for a dipping sauce - at this point, they should have just given it for free. Other than the fact that Yelp doesn't let you leave a zero star review, the one star is because of positives like: bathrooms were clean, servers were friendly, and the bar was functional. But this was an absolute failure of an event, and I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know, or ever come back. read more

If I can give zero stars I would! Erica is very unprofessional. She said everyone in the restaurant knows how to behave except THAT child to a 2 year old who was happily playing. When there were complaints about people smoking she did not care. She argued with her guests and gave a lot of attitude. My food took 45min to come out and it was also cold and dry! I do not recommend this place to people with asthma or children with disabilities until she is fired! read more
