Not only does the staff remember jist about everyone who comes into the bar but they know their stuff when it comes to their beers too. With about 30 taps and the beer fridge wall, there's something for everyone. They have a good mix of local brewery's, west coast staples and hard to find sours. While they don't have food, they do have the best rotation of food trucks I've seen. While you will see a lot of the same food truck repeat each week the verity is huge ranging from burgers to Mexican to wings to BBQ. They are also on Untapped and updated their beer lists a few times a day so you always can see what's on tap. They also have events such as trivia and karaoke of those are your thing. Went to Caps & Corks for the first time for an event and found a new place to go when I'm in Tucson. The beer selection is awesome both on tap and cans. There were plenty of other options if you don't drink beer. Staff was accommodating and cool. The pizza and wings vendors they had the night we were there were great as well. This place quickly became my husband and I's go-to spot. We've been coming here since they opened and I honestly can't believe I've never written a review before! We come here probably about 3 times a month and it's a great, chill place to just hang out and relax. They have a great beer selection, and they also have wine. The bartenders are super friendly. My husband and I have stopped in a couple of times and it's a very pleasant place to grab some brewskies! There is an amazing selection of beers to select from and they also have some nice wines. We were excited to see that they carry Merkin wines. We once took a trip to Merkin Vineyards in Cottonwood and really enjoyed the wines! We also grabbed a nice Cava brut from Caps & Corks, which we enjoyed last night. Light lovely bubbles perfect for summer! Currently, they are open for to- go purchases only. More like a 3.5- this place has probably the best tap list/cans to go in all of Tucson. Docking off a couple of stars because of the customer service, which tends to be hit or miss- and unfortunately it's usually the latter. More recently last Sunday (8/21) we were there and one of the ladies bartending was in a bad mood or didn't really wanted to be working based on her demeanor/responses. Her phone was definitely more important as she kept checking it while pouring. Don't get me wrong- I'll probably be back, but it will solely be because of their solid beer list and not because of their service. read more

This place has such a cool vibe! They had a huge beer selection both on tap, as well as by the can/bottle. They also have wine on tap, which is always a plus! They had a lot of AZ beers and most drafts could be purchased in different sized glasses, so it was easy to mix and match and try some different ones. They also sell popcorn to snack on and you can bring your own food in as well. The staff was super friendly and prompt in helping customers even when it was busy. We went for a Girl Scout cookie and beer pairing event, which was awesome! They did a great job pairing the beers and we walked out with a few boxes of cookies - a win! I'm sure this place is super cool in the evenings, especially if your friends are there and you are a beer drinker. I casually came by to get a Pinot noir about 1 pm on a Wednesday and they didn't have any. They open at noon on Wednesdays so why wouldn't they have that. Well, they had nothing on tap that day, just Italian wines I've never heard of. That's fine the one I had was good. However I asked for ice water. And they didn't have any ice. I don't think that is too much to ask. It was annoying that I went to a wine/ beer bar and they didn't have a single Pinot noir and ice. It would be great to step up the customer service. read more

This place rivals any similar establishment. Food truck services are good, in an area that feels under-served. Prices are very fair, the events happening are already on par (if not beyond) anyone close by...plus they've got some TVs for the sports fan but it's not obscene or in your face. There's a sports bar across the street so there's no reason to be someone they're not, they are able to focus on being who they are, and it's a good thing. Bring your own food is nice if you don't like what's offered that night or when's there no food option available at all. read more

I've been here 4 times now and I think I like it better than tap and bottle north. It's not as big as tap and bottle but that also means fewer kids at the bar. They still allow children, which is kind of obnoxious but they seem to bogart the patio, leaving the inside area for beer drinkers. I'm always impressed with the local beers they have on tap. They always seem to have a Tombstone IPA or Pueblo Vida beer, which beats the heck out of actually driving to tombstone or downtown for beer. The staff is friendly and know what to suggest too. Their to-go section is well stocked and ice cold. Of late, they've had live music and some pretty tasty food trucks too. I'm so happy to have them in my neighborhood! read more

One of my favorite places to grab a beer. Service can be hit or miss depending on who is working that day and if they have friends sitting at the bar. Usually have one of the more interesting selections of beer in town and we've had some great food from the food trucks but not a lot of food truck variety on the weekends when we make the trip across town to get there. C&C has forever earned my loyalty. They truly have something special here. While there are many bottle shop options in Tucson, not all are created equal. Caps is tied for 1st place in my book. Their Craft Beer selection is always vast and rotating. They constantly bring in awesome and new beers into AZ. It is because of these owners that Tucson gets some of the distribution it does. If you're new to the beer scene or are an experienced connoisseur, Caps should be your home away from home. The staff are extremely kind and welcoming. The owners can always be found hustling / pouring side by side with the staff. The place is spotless and they always support local, hosting food trucks and music. I found this place by taking dog obedience classes at Petsmart (just down the plaza). Dog friendly, so we would do class then dinner and beers afterwards. They don't serve food, but they have a different food truck each night. The food trucks they have are typically very good and represent a wide variety of food. They have a huge number of beers on tap. In addition, they have a very large selection of canned beer for either drink-in or carry out. As my brain reflected on on my day of dealing with humans, I made a right turn into the complex at River and Orange Grove and then I saw it. I'd been wanted to try it out and this was a good time to. I mean *salad* or a *beer*? I needed the beer and I heard that carry some pretty cools ones. Well, I heard right. I really enjoyed the beer I had and there was a local food truck parked right outside! *Meatball sandwich* or a *salad*? I went with the beer and meatball sandwich, both were awesome. My husband and I love coming here because it's child friendly. The people are always nice and there's always a great selection of beer and wine, rotating food trucks, games, and events. We've gone to the free mead tasting with live music. They also have events with Bloom Maven where hopefully one day my schedule will work so I can attend! They had just opened when I went so... take that for what it is. The beer selection is great as they have refrigerators with massive selections. No food which is a bummer but we did bring in our own food from Whole Foods. I have seen a food truck out there numerous times. You can play board games and Nintendo. I didn't notice what the wine selection was like. They did have quite a few bottles available for those who can't find anything they like on draft. Good location, seems comfortable for hanging out. Staff is friendly. I would rate it higher; however, I go to wine and beer bars to enjoy adult beverages with other adults. I've come probably 5 times and never had amazing customer service, which I know is not the #1 thing on most people's list for a bar, but is still important to the experience of your customers. It usually seems like buying a beer is an inconvenience to the staff, as they are more interested in conversing with each other than the patrons. Whoever books their events seems to have a good understanding of when to host various food trucks or music groups, yet on the biggest night for local college football they book a paint and sip group, taking up 1/3 of the seating in the bar. Poor planning there when the cats and sun devils are playing and plenty of locals are trying to drink and watch the game but there isn't enough space to do so. I recognize they aren't a sports bar, but also know your audience with the timing of events. My biggest frustration is that there was a man at the bar, clearly intoxicated, behaving rather obnoxiously. Normally I wouldn't mind because it's a bar, but when he began loudly talking about his shift the next day at this very bar, that was very off putting that staff would drink to that level and represent the establishment, whether on or off the clock. Then one of the men who was working clocked out and sat down for a beer. I've bartended before, I have no issue having a drink after work. But then he began talking loudly about how "fucked up" he was the night before and struggled greatly with a hangover before work today; that was also off putting. Never having had a great experience, and this one very poor experience, I've decided I'd rather take my business elsewhere to support other local business who take better pride in the experience they provide, the accessibility they offer, and the image they portray, especially when I am the paying customer. read more

A beautiful space with amazing people. I love that they support so many other small Tucson businesses including food trucks, local breweries, local coffee roasters, etc. We always have an incredible time when coming by and are especially grateful they are pet friendly. My brother suffers from anxiety and allowing him to have his service dog with him for a quick pint gets him out of the house and is something he now looks forward to doing.
