I had also requested vegetable fried rice because their special has pork which I don't like in fried rice. They gave me the special. They seldom make mistakes like that so I figured it was due to the late hour. The food is always ready fast too. Only took 15 minutes or so. They also give the fortune cookies and soy sauce I wanted. It's always a good meal but tonight just less spicy and the rice mistake which is why they didn't get a 5. Since Covid you park and call them. It the order is ready they come and sit it on the table they have outside their locked door. Then we go and pick up our order. No contact! They have it all worked out.

The food did not meet up to expectations. The sesame chicken pieces were very small with a heavy coating, and were also tough to chew. It reminded me of when you microwave chicken. One meal had very little sauce, bland, and lots of fillers like celery. The other meal was swimming in sauce, very sweet, and high in sodium. We only live 5 minutes away, the meals were not warm when we got home. I will try one more time and hope I can write a better review.

I ordered the sesame chicken combination dinner, which came with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll. I asked if they could make the chicken with white meat and extra crispy, and they were wonderfully accommodating. Since sesame chicken often comes with dark meat, I really appreciated their willingness to customize the order. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming. The owner even suggested that I eat there rather than take it to go, explaining that if you want it crispy, it is best enjoyed right away. That kind of thoughtful honesty and care really stood out. I had not realized they offered dine-in seating, but they have several tables and enough space for a small group gathering as well; see pictures. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Sesame chicken is one of my favorite dishes, and this was definitely one of the better versions I've had. It had just enough spice to get your attention without being overwhelming. I enjoy a little extra heat, so next time I may ask them to kick it up a notch. I highly recommend King's Wok. It is conveniently located just off the Thruway on the way into Farmington or Canandaigua, with good parking and easy access to other nearby amenities. A great find, and I will absolutely be back. My friend is more of a regular and asked for it. It was Delish, crisp, and slightly spicy but not overwhelming. We both had a soup that was a combo of the Somlar Machu and Num Banh Chok with Shrimp. It had a great curry flavor with a bit of the sour hints you would find in a tom yum. It was just spicy enough to make you know it had heat but not too much to blow out your taste buds. I had to run out for a meeting and left behind too much broth. Should have gotten it to go as I would rather drink that than bone broth any day. Sometimes the kitchen can be a little hit and miss with how quickly the food comes out but for the most part, it doesn't take too long. I love to get the noodle With beef or Mongolian beef as my meals and the fried green beans and lettuce wraps are my favorite apps. Their drink with the fruit popping boba is also delicious. The restaurant itself is always clean. Bathrooms are always clean as well. Overall, a great place to grab a nice meal with family and friends.

The oriental lady at the counter gave me a quizzical look and asked What is your nationality' - as if my nationality mattered when picking up an order or answering my question. Please speak respectfully and exercise professionalism. You're also a person of colour who should be respecting people regardless of colour. We used to like the food and were impressed with their customer service. Needless to say, that's the last time I'd patronize this place.
