Rising dragon Margarita - what we got

    1) Our main dish arrived at the same time as our appetizer and second course dish which was overwhelming because we felt rushed to eat so that our food wouldn't get cold (which did get cold by the time we got to it) . 2) Also we had to ask for our utensils after our food was served. 3) We were also Disappointed in the Margaritas we ordered.. they looked nothing like they are advertised on social media or on the menu- (as you see on the photo included in this review)

I've never been to a PF Changs before so I didn't know what to expect but their menu looked good so I was excited to try it. Now this review is for takeout so your experience may be different. The servers were nice and the time between ordering and receiving the order was quite fast, but that was probably the only pros of the entire experience. Upon looking at the food I ordered, I was appalled at how small the portions of everything was, considering that it was considered a "dinner" portion. The containers were barely half full and the pieces of beef and broccoli looked like it had been chewed up into tiny pieces and sitting in a pool of sauce. We also got a completely opened box of rice that looked like it was already half eaten. With our meals, we ordered the hot and sour soup which tasted very watered down and basically just sour broth. Based on this experience I will definitely not be returning!

My most recent visit was great. No wait on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the wonton soup, pan fried dumplings, ginger chicken with broccoli, and a side of lo mein. Wonton soup had a little too many mushrooms for my liking but everything else was perfect. The food satisfied my craving and was tasty. The portions are huge and I had a nice amount leftover to take home. Never any issues when I eat in here. The server was very sweet and helped to make our visit memorable.

We enjoyed lunch on PF Chang's patio this afternoon. Our meals were good, however, the portions and plating were a little odd. There weren't many cucumbers, though they were absolutely delicious. We really wanted more. Our entrees were especially tasty though appeared to be sloppily thrown on the plate with the rice sitting atop some of the main. The tofu was delicious but mostly stuck together. In all, a nice lunch with different flavors than you'd find at local Chinese restaurants.

Didn't taste as good as years prior. Portion sizes weren't the same for 3 entrees. Long wait for food.

I honestly thought if I went behind the bar right now not one person who worked here would notice. We were on vacation and sat at the bar. There was a manager doing computer work at the bar too. She did everything but tell us to leave. For 15 minutes, no one came over to us. Manager sees us many times, doesnt say let me get someone. Not a smile. Not a, here's a glass of water while I find the bar tender. Then when we did get someone it was clear that if we had questions they would be avoided like the plague. I asked a few times about the mayo--hate it. Id prefer to taste the fish. I was assured there wasnt mayo. It came drenched in mayo. $16 dollar roll that we didnt touch. However, the sushimi and nigiri was really fresh and rhe rice was perfect. Mackerel is one of my favorites and it was briney, bright, and sweet at the same time--excellent! But id never ever go here again. You can read my other reviews. I only dog on places when it's truly bad. My spouse was also a long time server (some at Uchiko) so we tip too much and bend over backwards to give servers our best attitudes. This felt very much like a manager/owner issue. Shame.

My wife and I ordered 4 things to share: Sweet and sour soup, pan fried green beans, refreshing wood ear fungus (trust me it tastes better than it sounds) and a tomato beef brisket dish. Portions were BIG. The wood ear dish was my favorite, it was vinegary, slightly sweet and had a good chewy texture. The green beans were good . The tomato beef brisket dish needed more beef. It had plenty of tomato, but I was fishing around to find more meat. Tasted good though. I'll be back.

My friend and I ordered mocktails which we both enjoyed. We then ordered gochu belly buns and the braised beef French onion soup. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and make the soup gluten free! It was delicious. For our entrees, I ordered the sweet deal salad and my friend ordered the green curry stir fry. Mine wasn't anything crazy, tasted as I expected but it was still good. My friend, on the other hand, did not love her dish. She is a big curry person and said the sauce lacked flavor (which I tried and agreed with). The tofu was nice and crispy, dry though. There wasn't enough sauce in the dish. The mushrooms were the most flavorful.

I had the La Higuera cocktail which I really enjoyed and my fiancee had the Filthy Hor. She didn't love hers, but it was basically a boozy horchata so I did like it. We decided on two appetizers - the Not Your Pastor's Wings and The Mulita Meltdown. The wings had good flavor and texture. The Mulita Meltdown was good, but not good birria. It didn't feel like real birria, but it was tasty. However, I found a hair in one of the quesadilla pieces so I stopped eating that. We told our server and she offered to bring us something else, but we didn't mind knowing that we still had our entree coming. Our entree was the Okie Dokie Gnocchi and we were definitely looking forward to it. We've loved every pasta dish that they've had over the years (but the braised beef was the best, would love for that to make a comeback) and expected this would not be an exception. However, the texture was off with too many breadcrumbs on top that didn't stay crisp while we were eating. The flavor was pretty good, but it was hard to get past the texture. Then it got worse: Another hair. And it was unquestionably not one of ours either time. We were pretty disappointed. Our server was again apologetic and again offered to bring something else, but I feel it's worth noting that she didn't seem surprised either time. We declined to have her bring another dish, as we had plans elsewhere, and she comped the gnocchi instead. We love Nosh so ultimately we'll likely return in the future, but there are so many good restaurants to try that it will certainly be a while.

This is my experience take it or leave it…read more We have been wanting to try Sendu for a while now so I decided to get some takeout as I was passing through Webster. I ordered online from the parking lot and went in pretty soon after ordering so I wasnt expecting the food to be ready. I waited in line behind another couple who were waiting to be seated. The place was very busy and it seemed to be a bit understaffed. It took a good 2-3 minutes for the couple to be greeted and eventually seated. I waited another 2+ minutes until the bartender finally greeted me from across the bar. I told them I had a pickup and that I would wait at the bar. I sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before I interrupted the bartender to ask if I could get a drink while I waited. $36 for a double whistlepig on the rocks. Wasn't expecting that. The decor was nice. It really seemed like a nice place and it was packed. The staff was doing g then best they could, but overwhelmed and understaffed. Another 10 mintues went by while I watched TV and waited for my food. As I was finishing my drink about 35 minutes after ordering, the food was ready. We got the egg rolls, which were really deep fried spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce but one of the better things we ordered. Seared Pepper tuna was the best thing we tried. Spice with the citrus flavor of the panzu. Seattle, Osaka, and Manhattan sushi tacos. Innovative yes, flavorful not so much. The white sauce (not sure what dish it was for) saved the tacos for me. Manhattan was the best out of the three, but still nothing special. The Beef Bulgogi spring rolls were almost vegetarian, minus the one thin strip of unmarinated beef. Peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter, no other spices or flavors like a peanut sauce should. I was not impressed. We also got the "Thai Shrimp and Tropical fruit Ceviche" it was missing the pineapple and there was no where near the citrus needed to make a real Ceviche. Meaning they cut up cooked shrimp and put it in a bland fruit salad. Another one that I was not impressed by. Finally mango sticky rice. This wasn't bad and I don't mind Jassberry rice, but if you are going to call it sticky rice, you should have more than a drizzle of sweetened coconut milk in the rice and it needs more than a 1/4 mango. Total came to just under $75 not including tip or the $36 bourbon. Too many really good Sushi, Thai, and Korean resturants to waste my time trying mediocre "fusion". I wouldn't rule out giving them another try, but it won't be anytime soon :(

First off, this is a clean and beautifully decorated restaurant. There's a sense of coziness and also modern. Upon stepping in, there's a nice variety of different decor which is pleasing to see. We started off with a couple appetizers. The spicy tuna crispy rice, and the fresh wraps (one with bulgogi steak and the other with fried crab). We can't say we were a fan of these, hence 4-stars vs 5-stars. We found the steak to be tough and did not have any flavour including a steak flavor which was odd. The fried crab is imitation crab stick, battered then deep fried. These ran $8 per fresh wrap which I find very steep. We didn't think they were tasty but presented nicely. The spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer was great. We loved the fried rice croquettes topped with spicy tuna and jalapeno. These were a delight. Now for the main reason we arrived, the sushi tacos. We ordered 6 out of a dozen or so choices, and we loved every single one of them. Each had its own unique flavour, and the bottom base of the taco is purple (black) rice which has its own stickiness and flavor which made them even more delicious. There were a couple tacos which included eel, but we weren't expecting them to be battered then fried. We would have preferred the unagi to be left alone. Nevertheless, these tacos are unique and 100% worth us making a visit to this restaurant. We ended with their Mango Sticky Rice, which we found the mango wasn't ripe enough, but passable. Overall, a great experience and 100% would visit to order more of their sushi tacos and would possibly try other dishes.
