When I opened my order the soup had spilt over everything (annoying), and the ginger salad dressing had gone bad! This was not a good start considering I was about to eat raw fish where food safety and quality is critical! The salad container popped when i opened it and it was dried out and chunky (see pic). The rest of my food looked and smelled normal so I decided to eat it. The hibachi veggie hit the spot and was a good value. I would order it again (sub noodles for the rice). They promptly took our drink order and for $6 I got a huge pour of wine in a chilled glass. They also serve a complimentary fried small sushi roll. We ordered the Philly roll and the moon roll. We always order the Philly, and usually get fried rolls, so I was nervous about the raw fish on the moon roll, it was soo good!!! Loved it! Philly Roll - my son's favorite, clearly good because he shared none of it. Snow Mountain Roll - a daily special, good but not as good as the Moon Roll. Vegetable Hibachi - another good choice, but all the hibachi is good. You don't get the shrimp flip or the volcano, but if you want that this is not your spot. Sweet Mango Roll - good concept, but for me the flavors did mot mesh. This deserves to be in your date night rotation. We ordered the chicken and steak hibachi, the seafood roll and a dynamite roll. I'm pretty sure they forgot to add salt or any kind of seasoning to the meat. The steak was overcooked and tuff to chew. The vegetables and noodles were cooked right and tasted fine. I did appreciate that they gave you noodles, rice and vegetables. The seafood roll was nothing to get excited about. It just tasted like a fried roll. The salad dressing tasted like a carrot ginger dressing which was different but good and refreshing. One of my favorite sushi spots! They have great deals for lunch and their food is really tasty! Even for lunch, they include salad and soup with your order on takeout as well. Their hibachi lunch is so much food. I think it was $13 for steak and scallops, veggies, fried rice and noodles. Then you get a salad and soup on top of that! They have a sushi lunch combo that is 3/$15 too. I have had it when the sushi kind of falls apart, but that's not the usual. It's possible I waited to long to eat it when it came out. Not sure. Completely impressed and reminded that great service and care does still exist in the hospitality.. placed an online order 30 mins before close of business. Apparently, it didn't go through. Arrived 5 mins after they closed downs and then realized my order hadn't been completely. The manager on duty and chef that were about to close, turned the hibachi grill back on and made me a delicious meal without skipping a breathe. Their kindness and consideration to attend to my needs and make sure I was fed (because I hadnt eaten all day) and satisfied with my entire experience without even having to ask them - I am beyond grateful, impressed & this is the type of business that I like to return to on a regular basis and give as much business to!
