Not sure what the dinner option is like but for the lunch AYCE they didn't have sashimi, which I personally like to get when I go to AYCE. They also have french fries and nuggets for those who don't like sushi. Big space so you can bring a big party. There's a waste fee if you don't finish all your food so come hungry

The price is amazing for the amount of food and variety they offer! Everything was served pretty quickly, and the portions were very satisfying. Perfect spot if you're looking for good value and fast service. I'll definitely be back!

When you need to eat some rice what's your first option? Sushi. Well, at least that's what it was for me. I was not feeling well and about to go into a really long Zoom meeting with no time to make dinner so we decided to get delivery. I found this place on my favorite app and it looked newish (or I hadn't heard about it) so why not try them out? He looked at the menu and wanted the Side of Scallops from the Hibachi Grill along with our picks: Hawaii Roll - Spicy tuna, mango, pineapple, soy paper wrap, tuna on top, spicy sauce. My favorite with its sweet and spicy taste. Godzilla Roll - Shrimp tempura, cucumber, cream cheese topped with crunch, scallions, krabmeat, masago, spicy mayo, eel sauce. He enjoyed this one. I'm moving away from tempura anything in my rolls as I think it's no fun and it's a very popular ingredient. Hurricane Roll - Spicy tuna, jalapeno, cheese, with spicy crab on top. Should have been crab with a k, however it was still good. A nice option for sushi to consider in the future.

We came here for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty as we walked in and they were able to seat a group of us all together. We missed the lunch special by a few minutes, but that was okay. Kevin (I think his name was, and I'm soo sorry if I got it wrong) was very attentive. The sushi rolls tasted how classic rolls should taste. The chicken katsu was both light and crispy. The veggies were stir fried well with a slight crunch to them. The fried rice had no flavour at all. The sweet tea was starting to turn (taste was beginning to spoil) and had way too much sugar in it. In all, we really enjoyed and would come back again.

Enjoyed date night at Flame Sushi! The food was really incredible and loved the ambiance! Plus the service was fantastic! We tried a fun special appetizer with salmon, lemon, jalapeño, and masago. Never tried anything like it! Great meld of flavors. We also tried two specialty sushi rolls. The "Hawaiian" was wrapped in soy paper with spicy tuna, mango, & pineapple, with fresh tuna and sauces on top. Melt in your mouth with an explosion of delicate flavors!! It was utterly delicious! The other roll was the "Lobster Feast" and had fried lobster, cucumber, lettuce, asparagus, with real crab on top! Tasted amazing with great texture and flavors all around. We finished with shrimp and lobster hibachi. Noodles were so yummy, veggies cooked perfectly, deliciously seasoned shrimp! We were so happy with our date night feast! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Kevin for being an amazing server as well. Excellent service!! Thank you!!

YUMMMMMMM! My family and I came here for my Dad's birthday dinner. :).. We got Dragon Boat, green dragon, Kevin roll, and volcano roll. The sushi, atmosphere, and service were great! The waiter was super nice and attentive! I would definitely come again. BTW, the Kevin roll was incredible!

Decided to try some ramen with some appetizers when walking in. I was impressed with all the new seating and decorations. Decided to try the gyoza overall good tasting and cooked just right soon the ramen came with grilled chicken overall taste was ok but was lacking in the broth flavor .our server was very pleasant and attentive I will give it some time and will try again with some new items to taste.

Great sushi, clean restaurant and excellent service. We came for lunch and enjoyed the sushi lunch specials. The portions were big and we couldn't finish. Everything was very fresh. Will definitely return

I went to Flame Sushi during the opening and thoroughly enjoyed the options. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was that the 1/2 off promotion was for dine in sushi and not to-go options. The interior is truly beautiful and updated. From the outside, you wouldn't expect what's on the inside. The service was great and the servers were very attentive and knowledgeable. I just wish I had been informed about the specifics of the promotion. I would still go back because the sushi was delicious. Also the fried Oreos were delicious. The food was good overall.

It was super crispy, but the meat was still so juicy. And the sweet and creamy sauces just finished the perfect bite. The ramens were pretty solid too. The matcha broth was super creamy and light. And the tonkotsu was so flavorful, with really tender chashu and a perfectly soft boiled egg. Plus the noodles were a really good texture. The restaurant itself is really cute too. They also have a convenience store type of ramen station in the front, which I really want to try. As well as a little arcade game that you can play in the front while you wait to be seated. However, I was really not a fan of the service. It's nothing really against the servers because they were super nice, but they just seemed so frazzled. We arrived around an hour before closing, but it took forever for us to be seated, despite seeing a few empty tables around. By the time we were seated, we were told kitchen would be closing in two minutes, so we had to hurry and put in our orders. All of that was fine and I didn't mind. But what I did mind was that our waitress checked our order twice when we first have it. And she came back to our table within the next five minutes to check our orders again for a third time to make sure she had down what we wanted. I wanted the matcha ramen and was most looking forward to having some chashu and egg. So she confirmed my order three times that I wanted matcha ramen. But when it came out, she gave me the vegetable bowl. I knew the kitchen had closed at that point, so I just ate it, but I was really disappointed. (I did get to try a bite of my friends egg and chashu, which also didn't really help because it was so good and made me wish mine came with those even more.) When we were finished eating, it took forever for the checks to come out. This I also didn't mind that much, because the servers, again, looked really frazzled trying to close up. But at this point we had waited until well after their closing time, so part of me was hoping they could just close us out first and then finish closing down the place. I think we waited at least half an hour from when we first asked for the check (at which point we had already been waiting a while) to when we finally got our cards back. I did see they charged me for the vegetable version of the matcha ramen so it was whatever, but then also I was confused - so it wasn't a mix up in the kitchen, she rang it up as the vegetable one from the beginning! Even though I never mentioned it and she never said vegetable when confirming my order. It was a dollar less to get tofu instead of an egg and chashu which doesn't seem worth it. Writing this all out, I'm sorry to rant, because the food really was good. And looking at other reviews, it looks like the service is usually pretty good. But again, it was just disappointing. That being said, I am really hoping it was a one off thing because I would go again and try some other menu items too.

He mentioned wait times for tables, so I chose a Tuesday evening to try to avoid the crowds and it worked as I was immediately sat upon arriving. There are QR Menus on the table and my server directed me to view there. I spotted the Tokyo and was intrigued by the Ajitama Brûlée (signature torched seasoned soft boiled egg). What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. This is my 1900th review on Yelp, and I couldn't pick a better place to review and RAVE about my experience. If you are in Jacksonville, RUN don't walk to this location for a stunning experience as it's a gorgeous location that is very cozy. During our visit, a manager engaged in repeated personal interactions with my guest that felt outside the bounds of typical professional service. While I understand that friendliness is part of hospitality, the frequency and tone of these interactions became uncomfortable and detracted from the overall experience. After the visit, I brought this to the attention of the business directly in the hope that it would be acknowledged and addressed. Unfortunately, I did not receive a meaningful response or any indication that the concern was taken seriously. I'm sharing this here so others have a complete picture when deciding where to go, and so the business has another opportunity to reflect on how customer interactions are handled. With more attentive management and clearer boundaries for staff, this could be a much stronger experience.

The noodles themselves are also really good; some places have noodles that can taste a little "cardboard-y" - but not at Tokyo Ramen. What else? Service: friendly and fast... Service was meh at best: the young ladies were more interested in their phones and there were two of them to one of me. I initially wanted to try the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), but the waitress convinced me not to as "they take too long" to prepare. Instead I went with the pork fried dumplings and the Taiwanrse sausage. The dumplings were very average: not bad flavor but they had a flavor and were uniform in a way that suggested they came right out of a bag from the freezer. There are much better and fresher dumplings to be had in Jacksonville. The sausage, however, was quite good. It was taught, porky, and had notes of five spice & maybe cinnamon. It further reinforced my view that meat always tastes best when served on a stick! It helped bring in the final score two three stars, making up for poor service and mediocre dumplings.
