    Breakfast for one
    Monica C.

Have been wanting to dine at Fannie's for years now and finally stopped in today for breakfast. Typically, there is a long wait but they do take reservations. The interior is very cozy and inviting. There are a few tables for parties of 2 and 4, both indoors and outdoors, and I can see how it can fill up very quickly. I ordered their signature latte- cardamom, maple syrup and whipped cream. It was very tasty. For the entree, I ordered their burger hash special. Two poached eggs, a small nonchalant burger patty, crispy potatoes and a fresh salad. I thought the meal was really good, but was surprised that I was charged $36 for the burger hash when the bill arrived. There were no prices posted on the daily specials menu, and I should've probably asked, but I didn't think a breakfast of two eggs, a beef patty, salad and potatoes would cost $36. It didn't really sit well with me to be paying $55 (after tip) for a breakfast for 1 person. I think I will return, but I'll be sure to avoid the specials menu next time!

I love this place. Local, curated. I didn't know it can get so hipster in this NJ/NY boarder town! I was here to help my cousin moving. Step into this little town I thought I was in somewhere PA. This little cafe is quaint and full of art. Everything speaks local.. all the ladies here are sweet. We got a bunch of greens to battle the jet lag.. they also give a heavy pour to whoever wants organic Chardonnay at 10am in the AM

Wow! This restaurant is truly quaint with that small town charm feel. This inside is cozy. Food is fresh and delicious with an every changing menu based on local ingredients. I got the corn crepe which was so tasty with a blueberry scone and their signature latte. Only thing I'll say there is the latte was too sweet for me. The only other downside is the bathrooms are in a shared building and tiny. Since I have a baby there was no changing table and in that regard a bit challenging if your a mom with a little one. Overall, really enjoyed our experience there!

Good lesbian team here. Creative chef. Knows how to pair tastes within a dish. Ambiance is pretty nice. It's pricey indeed, but I found it to be worth the experience. My partner had pancakes that were truly awesome. My filet and eggs tho...they don't let you determine how it's cooked, which was odd but I trusted the chef knew. I prefer medium rare. The steak came out with two pieces medium rare and the rest well done. It's painful for me to see a steak cooked well done losing its nutrients and flavor. But we booked a dinner there for a second chance. So I haven't given up.

If you're starving and have no patience this place isn't for you. On weekends it's best to make a reservation. We came here on a Sunday with reservations for 12 and still had to wait. The food is good and hearty. I had a special, which was Figs French Toast. It was delicious! It was my first time having figs, I ate the whole plate. We all drank the signature latte with oat milk both iced and hot were delicious. We also ordered the corn crepe dish to share, it was ok, I probably wouldn't order that again. My girlfriend and daughter had the Egg sandwhich; which they normally order. Obviously we're repeat customers. But like I said don't come here on a whim with no patience, it's definitely not a good combo lol

Probably the best French toast we've ever had!

This my absolute favorite restaurant in Warwick! The food is always unique, fresh and tasty! Do not forget to ask about their specials. My usual go to, if not ordering one of their specials, is the Hillary farm fried chicken sandwich or the goat cheese salad with their spicy chicken sausage. The flavors are always on point and the star always lovely. I recommend making reservations because it gets packed.

Best place for a fresh breakfast. Their signature latte is everything! It's absolutely delicious. The key to eating her is a reservation. I called first thing in the morning and made a reservation for noon. You can try walking in but it's a huge risk. The place is not huge and everything is made fresh, so tables doesn't turnover quick. I got the egg sandwich. The eggs were fluffy, it's local cheese, and the bread is amazing (fresh, fresh, fresh).

I would love to give 5 stars for food, 2 for service. I'm settling on 3. I arrived at 12:40 on a Sunday and asked for a table for 2. My mom would be joining me. As this was my first time here, I wasn't aware that reservations were recommended. They were able to seat me, however, and gave me a menu. My mom was supposed to meet me at 12:45 but she was running late and walked in at 1pm. At no point in my twenty minutes of waiting alone was I asked if I wanted water, coffee... I wasn't even acknowledged, not even eye contact. I thought it was super weird and impersonal, especially for such a cute intimate spot! I ordered a coffee, but was informed that after 10am they don't serve regular coffee anymore (what?), and I was offered an Americano instead. An Americano is not the same thing, and I declined. My only other option was the $5 French press (4 cups worth). It took about 10-12 minutes before the coffee and my mom's tea was delivered to our table. At this point I had been sitting at the table for about 45-50 minutes already. Finally! Something to drink! I was so parched - not even water on the table. Literally 30 seconds later, the food came out. The French press was delicious, but kind of a waste. I only wanted one cup of coffee and this was 4 cups worth. Upon leaving I asked for a to-go cup and took some coffee with me, but I felt it was wasteful. Before I left, I returned the French press to the counter and said, "I know you will probably throw this out, but I only drank half of it, so... feel free to drink some yourself." It was just odd. What kind of breakfast place doesn't have regular coffee? My meal was phenomenal. I ordered the baked eggs (pictured), served with seasonal vegetables and a weekly local cheese. The two eggs were served over-hard atop red cabbage, a few fingerling potatoes, and brie. Some grain mustard and scallions topped off the whole dish. The side of bread was SO GOOD - made in house. This meal is something I would want to literally every day, and knowing that the vegetables and cheese change weekly, it would never get boring. They only had two servers and I really feel they should have had a third. Takeaways: - Make a reservation - Get there early if you want regular coffee... or go with someone who will share French press with you :)

Really surprised by going back to this gem two days back to back to try both sandwiches. First, the steak sandwich is incredibly tender, cooked perfectly, with a really nice gruyere cheese and aioli. All of this is really nicely complemented with the bread. The baguette is . The chicken sandwich was also remarkable. Perfect amount of crisp and pepper tangy juice really solid. My wife had the veggie sandwich which had fresh strawberries, goat cheese, and other just light leafy blends. I will be definitely stopping by here again!

After a beautiful morning of paddling, we stopped by Fannie's for lunch. We My cousin and I both did our research and we landed on Fannie's based on menu and review. We are so glad we stopped her for lunch. We decided to order their daily special, scallops and grits, and corn crepes... WOW oh wow. Loved the food... Everything was locally sourced and cooked to order. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and look forward to going back to try other things. Since I was full, I admit I did grab a blueberry chocolate walnut scones to go. P.s. They offer also an array of baked goods...

    Special ! French toast (Amazing)

Never had a bad meal !!! Always a picture worthy plate! Delicious & handmade to order every time. This hidden gem is always an early day treat, we are never disappointed. Wait staff is all very friendly. One of our favorites ! We Always take a picture, but most of the time order one of the specials on the menu, I suggest to do the same u won't ever be disappointed !!!

We came here for a refreshing treat on a cool Sunday evening, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Luckily, the weather kept the crowds manageable -- busy, but nowhere near the chaos of a hot summer afternoon. Nestled in the mountains of Warwick, NY, this creamery has such a charming, peaceful vibe. I first discovered it a few years ago after taking my nephew apple picking nearby, so I was excited to finally make my way back. The scenic drive alone is worth it. On this visit, they were serving customers inside only, but during peak summer days they also open the walk-up windows, which seems like a smart system for handling bigger crowds. Inside, the L-shaped counter setup helps keep the line moving efficiently even when there are multiple groups waiting. One thing I truly appreciated as someone with a gluten allergy was how clearly they labeled the gluten-free flavors on the menu. It made ordering stress-free and saved me from having to ask a million questions. Honestly, I wish every ice cream shop did this. Another huge bonus: they allow two flavors in a small size! I ordered the Great White Way and Calf Trax with rainbow sprinkles, and both flavors were absolutely delicious. After grabbing your ice cream, there are picnic tables outside overlooking breathtaking mountain views. It's the kind of place where you could easily sit for hours, relax, and just take in the scenery while enjoying your cone. The staff was friendly, parking was plentiful (always appreciated), and the overall experience was exactly what I hoped for. Bellvale Farms Creamery continues to live up to the hype, and I already can't wait to go back.

I had never been here before, so I went in completely blind, but the second I got out of the car, I understood why people come here. First of all: parking on BOTH sides of the street. Say less. Nothing ruins a cute little ice cream trip faster than circling for parking while your will to live slowly leaves your body. Then there's the smell. The scent wafting through the air should honestly be studied because it had me floating toward the building like a cartoon character following a pie cooling on a windowsill. I'm not saying the aroma dragged me in against my will...but I'm also not *not* saying that. Inside, the shop is set up in an "L" shape, and they have the flavors posted both outside AND inside, which I deeply appreciated because nobody needs the chaos of 14 people trying to read one tiny menu while pretending they're ready to order. They let you sample flavors before committing, which is dangerous for someone like me because suddenly I become an ice cream sommelier. I ended up getting Bellvale Bog and Calf Trax and let me tell you: absolutely worth it. 10/10. No notes. And somehow it gets even better once you walk back outside because there are picnic tables with a view that is genuinely stunning. Like, annoyingly picturesque. The kind of view that makes you stop mid-bite and rethink your life choices. For a completely spontaneous stop, this ended up being one of the highlights of the day. I will absolutely be back, and this time intentionally.
