You know if someone if done eating and there's food on the table, you can ask if we need boxes. Everyone who eats needs napkins. Little things like that matter. I didn't give the lady a good tip specifically because every-time we asked her something, she either forgot or seemed like it was an inconvenience for her to get it. When she gave us our bill, I wanted a coffee to go and a to-go cup for my soda but she gave the bill and walked away so she didn't give me the opportunity to even ask. Which to me, I work in the restaurant industry and going the extra mile to ask if I wanted drinks to go would've made a huge impact. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. It was packed inside, so when we were asked we told her we'd prefer to sit outside. Outside, there are small wooden signs with numbers on them and you go to the one you're assigned to. At the time I remembered thinking what a nice day it was to be sitting outside, but later learned the air quality was actually bad that day since there was a fire we didn't know about. Also, summers in general have bad air quality because the heat traps the pollution. Then again, even if we chose to sit inside, the door was open for people to line up, so we couldn't have escaped the bad air either way. Also, Scramblers is on the corner of a busy intersection and I saw one car cutoff another car at the turn and the other driver honk and yell at the other driver, so not exactly the most peaceful place to sit down and eat. After being to this plaza a few times now, I've learned that it's best to take whatever parking spot you can get even if it's far from the place you're going to. Scramblers is especially difficult to get to, so it was a bit of a walk to and from our car. I've said it before in other reviews, but I curse whoever planned the layout of this plaza, like what were they thinking?
