We had the grilled artichoke and wings for appetizers. My wife was not a huge artichoke fan but this changed her mind. The prime rib dip was really tasty. The coleslaw was also great...not too wet. Drinks, we had a Tequila Mockingbird and Dirt Goose Martini with that FRIED BLUE CHEESE STUFFED OLIVE! Overall, better than expected and would definitely go back to try more. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. We dined on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant appeared to be less than 50% full, making the service issues even more surprising. Our server was training a new employee during our visit, which made the overall experience even more concerning. Our courses came out of order, and when we asked about it, the wait staff blamed the kitchen rather than taking ownership of the issue. Regardless of where the breakdown occurred, it made for a disjointed dining experience. The cocktails were poured extremely heavy, which may appeal to some guests but felt unbalanced to us. After our dinner plates were cleared, dessert was brought out without anyone bringing us fresh utensils. After waiting, I ultimately had to get my own utensils so we could enjoy our dessert. The biggest disappointment was that I had noted on my reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and also mentioned it to our server when we arrived, but it was never acknowledged. We weren't expecting anything complimentary--a simple "Happy Birthday" would have made the evening feel more personal and appropriate for the occasion. Seeing these service issues while a new employee was being trained left us wondering what standards are being emphasized for new staff. Based on our experience, it did not reflect the level of hospitality we would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. The kitchen is clearly doing an excellent job, and we'd return for the food. However, for a restaurant that positions itself as one of the premier dining destinations in town, the overall service experience fell well short of expectations. Management should take a close look at its service standards, front-of-house processes, and overall guest experience to ensure they align with the quality of the cuisine and the level of dining the restaurant aims to provide.

Wait Staff: I wish I took the name of our waitress because she was awesome, funny and knowledgeable about the menu. All waiters/waitresses were great. Drinks: Unfortunately I didn't get any drinks because we kept seeing the brightly colored drinks and flights being served around us and I was jealous, they all looked awesome. Food: This is where it gets good because the food was A+++mazing. We started off with just the salsa, chips and for a nice surprise, some warm beans. The salsa brought a tear to my eye because it was soooo good. Luckily, my son doesn't eat salsa so I drank it all down. The chips were perfectly fresh and crispy. Guac: So, our waitress brought us some off the menu guac, and, WTF, why are they hiding this recipe from the rest of the world. I literally got into a fist fight with my son because he was trying to take it from me (not really) but I didn't want to share. The presentation was so cute too. Plantains + chips + guac = heavan Fajitas: I ordered fajitas and all boxes were checked, quantity, quality, and taste. I ordered the chicken and it was juicy and thick and perfectly seasoned. Steak tacos: My kid ordered the steak tacos and we brokered a deal to trade some steak for chicken and this was the best deal made since the New Deal (American history). Steak was chunky and juicy and fresh! The only problem with this place is that it is very far from my house as I was in the 'hood for my kids basketball tournament. If I am in the area you better believe that I will be back. Oh yeah, and very affordable for the upscale dining.

The bartender took our drink order, and we received chips and salsa, which were very good. However, the bartender seemed a bit distracted, forgot about us, even though it wasn't a busy night. We decided to give it another chance since so many people seem to enjoy this place. We visited again, and we ordered a few drinks, received chips and salsa, then placed our food order. We waited for a bit and ordered a few more drinks. Unfortunately, after waiting about an hour, we never received our meal or any update on its status. We eventually decided to close out our bill. At that point, we noticed we had been charged for the meal we never received, as well as drinks that were not served. When we brought this to the bartender's attention, they raised their voice and told us we were wrong, which caught us by surprise. I understand that things can get busy, but a lack of communication and being spoken to disrespectfully is unacceptable. A simple check-in or update would have made a big difference. Based on this experience, we're unlikely to return. We really wanted this to work, but maybe you had to be regular customer to get better service?! We tried, but this place is a solid No for us.

It's because of this I got very familiar with Swedish Crepes or Pancakes, as some might call them. I don't know if they were ever my favorite style of pancakes but they were always an option on those rare occasions I wanted something with more fruit than blueberry. Tara always appreciated me making an effort to broaden my perspective on what a good pancake or crepe constituted. That being said, I hardly ever run into great Swedish crepes. Usually the butter or compote is sub-standard, and I usually feel like I should've gotten something different. Silver Dollar Pancake House makes some majestic Swedish crepes. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.

I went around the strip mall. So many times that I was getting dizzy because I couldn't find it. So I called the place up. It was super loud in the back ground. Seriously it was really hard to hear what she was saying. All I heard was spa that they were inside a spa location so I went to where they sell. Spas walked inside and I asked if they sold sandwiches and the guy looked at me like I was Crazy!!! So I called again, and she told me she was inside of Alexander salon and spa. The place is tiny. I can't even call it a hole in the wall. Maybe a crack In the wall It's literally a bar with a few stools in the front and in the back I couldn't see much. Being that it's a ginormous salon,, all I could smell was Aquanet and other hair chemicals in the air. I didn't see anything on the menu that looked good to me so I picked up a pesto chicken Panini for my wife with roasted potatoes. . She enjoyed her Panini, but The roasted potatoes were excessively seasoned , so much that she wind up tossing them out . I didn't take any pictures of the sandwich or potatoes. Cause I was too busy, eating my food from Tacos, puro Jalisco that's located Down the street.

When I first arrived around 11:00 to 11:30 AM, there was already a long line of people waiting to get in. When we first entered, Host Valerie directed me to wait to the side and said the cashier would help me. The cashier was busy, so I continued waiting patiently. I then noticed there was a separate line on the far right for customers only purchasing pies. Since nobody was assisting that line either, I allowed an elderly woman waiting there to go ahead of me so she could purchase her pie first. By the time my purchase was finally processed, it was already 12:34 PM according to my receipt. After that, Manager Mona informed me that Viri, the cashier on the left side, would help me. Unfortunately, despite telling me she would help me "in one second," she repeatedly assisted other customers before me and allowed multiple people to cut ahead in line. The overall organization and customer service were extremely poor. When placing my order, I specifically informed the staff that my wife is vegetarian and asked that her pancakes not touch the eggs or sausage and that those items remain separated. After waiting a very long time, Viri returned and informed me that the kitchen had made a mistake and had to separate the food. Honestly, I do not even believe the meal was remade properly. The biggest issue came after we got home with our to go order. We discovered hair in the food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious health and safety concerns. Between the wait time, the confusion with ordering, the repeated customer service issues involving Host Valerie, Manager Mona, and Viri, and then finding hair in the food, the entire experience was extremely frustrating. From the time I arrived until the time I got back home, the process took roughly from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, which was over two hours for a to go order that still ended up having health and sanitation concerns. I understand restaurants can get busy, but poor organization, lack of communication, food handling mistakes, and finding hair in food is simply not acceptable, especially when dietary restrictions were clearly communicated from the beginning.
