When the tech arrived he honored the steam cleaning quote & also gave an option for steam & shampoo. This was NOT a bait & switch move, as 1. He didn't try to pressure us into the slightly more expensive steam & shampoo service and 2. The more expensive service still lower than other similar companies. We chose the steam & shampoo. They not only that have extremely reasonable prices, but they washed my carpet 4X to get results! No extra charge! And it is delivered back today, white and almost not recognizable difference between traffic area and parts that were under the furniture. We used Fantastic Carper Cleaning recently to clean a rug and shampoo our entire L shaped sofa. They did a truly great job. It took about 2 hours for the sofa but that's because they were thorough and it was big. The sofa smelled great after and took about 24 hours to dry. It feels and looks renewed as does our rug. I had my mattress steamed by Mr. Juergen on 03 01 2019. . He arrived in the window scheduled. He was very cordial and knowledgeable of his trade and was able to answer any questions I had about mattress steaming. My mattress dried over night and it looks clean, taller, and fluffy. My mattress feels new- nice and firm.. Mr. Juergen stated a mattress should be maintained and steamed at least once a year. I will surely keep this up whether by way of professional or self maintenance since there are mattress cleaning kits as well as spot cleaning steamers. Tip: Also mattress covers do help protect your mattress. There are spill proof ones made with organic materials such as terry cloth, microfiber, etc. This will save you some headache in the future. read more

My dog threw up bile on my brand new 100% viscose rug (the hardest rug to clean). Not only did fantastic carpet cleaning come 2 hours after I called but it they picked up my rug on a Friday night! They gave me a great quote for just cleaning and then for cleaning and repair in case the stain didn't come out with just their cleaning. We were upsold on sending our rug to their facility for deep cleaning on December 15 instead of doing an in-home steam clean, and were told it would be 5-7 business days for it to be returned. For some reference, we have a white shag rug that had minimal traction stains according to their technician. I reached out for a delivery date on 12/26 as I hadn't heard from them and got no response. I understand that it was Christmas so I expected it might take a little longer, and was totally fine with that. I followed up again on 12/31, and was told the earliest they could do was that Saturday, 1/5, when I would be away. We settled on 1/3 between 4-5pm, which they then cancelled the morning of because after the cleaning the rug "didn't meet their standards." We rescheduled for 1/8 and were given a delivery window of 8-10am. At 9:59am (sadly that's not an exaggeration) they emailed me that the stain "reappeared" and that they needed more time with the rug. So basically no one looked at the rug before then and they never planned to deliver within the delivery window. I had to press them for a discount which they only reluctantly agreed to after the second cancelled delivery. Finally our rug was delivered on Saturday 1/12, a full month after it was picked up. And there are still stains. 100% not worth the $200 I just shelled out. I do not recommend using their out of home cleaning services unless you want a headache and to argue with their scheduling/customer service people, and in general I really would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

After our basement flooded we needed to hire someone to clean our area rugs. They picked them up on 9/2/21 for "Shampoo, sanitize and deodorize." Fast forward to a month later and the rugs were delivered stinking of mold. They took the rugs back but I struggled to get a hold of anyone there. Finally, out of frustration, I wound up posting this review (except different) with a one star rating, but am now changing it because I received the rugs today and they were very clean and the color was restored. The technician came in the middle of the pick up window (4pm of a 3-5pm window) and had texted 20 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on the way. I was given a quote (that seemed reasonable but what the heck do I know!!) and got an email a couple days ago to schedule delivery. We got the basic cleaning service for a couch, and it turned out great (~$250). The process was quick and Jurgen was very professional and amicable. The only reason its 4/5 stars is because we had a difficult time scheduling the appointment. The first appointment must not have been scheduled, since they didn't have a record of it in their books after I called to confirm the day of. The second was cancelled after the service/arrival window had already passed, and it wasn't until the third attempt that I got a confirmation email and text of the appointment, and Jurgen arrived within the allotted time slot. Called last week for an appointment 2 days ago. They picked up (other companies I called went to vm), answered all my questions, and we scheduled an appointment time. A day or two later I received a confirmation text with the appointment date, time and name of the gentleman who'd be coming over. The appointment window was later than that to which I had agreed, however, I'm sure if I had called back we would have worked something out. I just stuck to the new time frame. It wasn't an issue. The gentleman arrived within the 2 hour window(during a sudden downpour) and was very polite, friendly, and very informative. He gave me a rundown of what he would be doing, and how, after having me point out specific trouble spots in both rooms. He answered my questions and then got right to work. He was very thorough and did a great job on the stains and on my carpet in general. It looked so good compared to what it was. The whole family was pleased and impressed. Love that they are safe for pets and kids as well. We will definitely be using them again for the upstairs. read more

i engaged this company at the suggestion of home advisors to dry clean an edward fields rug with a current value of over $16000.00. they were to pick it up at one place where they were three hours late. they were to deliver it to another nyc apartment in three days. they did not show up until fifteen days later. they came in with a wet rug which had obviously been washed. the formerly light blue rug was now grey and a different size. after no comments and no replies from this company, home advisors suggested arbitration. then they did not agree for almost one week. after i put in the necessary evidence of the rug and all of the damage they caused to our antique furnishings and my claim, there was a hearing. the arbitrator awarded me and told them to pay within 14 days - that was september 8. they have not paid and they have not returned tens of messages left with richard who answers their phone. there are other obnoxious threats to me from the owner. these people should pay their debts. i would not suggest dealing with such dishonest people at this inferior company. should you have any questions, please contact me through yelp. read more
