I am extremely disappointed with this company and want to warn others. The damage to my car was minor, yet the process was unnecessarily complicated, intimidating, and expensive. I was pressured to sign a document "just for authorization" without a clear explanation and was assured there would be no charges since my insurance would cover everything. Later, I was sent an estimate for $7,070 and told my car was already dismantled -- clearly pressuring me to leave it there. After Progressive sent their $6,900 estimate, this shop mysteriously increased theirs, not because more work was needed but apparently to bill both insurance and me. When Progressive delayed payment, they told me to wait while charging me daily storage fees. I sought a second opinion from my own insurance company and their estimate matched the original -- the only big difference in this shop's inflated estimate was labor hours. Every time I asked about picking up my vehicle, I was threatened with hidden administrative fees, storage charges, and even a lien on my car -- none of which were disclosed upfront. This experience has been stressful, expensive, and unethical. I will be notifying Audi about this and filing a formal complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Consumers deserve transparency, not intimidation. read more

Fantastic Finishes is an immaculate shop with superior customer service. While I never want to have to go there (because it means my car got damaged) it's the only place I will take my vehicle for repairs to the finish. Over the years I've had at least three of our cars in the shop for various reasons, including a visit there today. Every employee from the front desk to the shop itself is excellent, as is the founder and owner, Russ. They are true professionals and I appreciate that this business is local to us here in Palm Beach County. read more

This guy Chuck kept hammering me about Progressive not paying for all of their work that they need to do and kept telling me that I need to sign a waiver that says that I am responsible for anything more that my insurance would not pay. He had me all nervous thinking that my car was not going to be repaired. His scare tactics didn't work on me. It's a total scam. My agent got me a body shop that is Porshe Certified and all the damage is covered with a lifetime warranty. Also, they are coming to pick up the car. Don't go to these guys. They jack up the price and you will have to pay out of pocket. They will lie and say that your damages aren't covered and you will have to pay! Total BS and that Chuck Guy is Very Rude! BEWARE I reported Fantastic Finishes to BBB, Atty General and Consumer Protection. They took advantage of me by increasing my original bill because I wanted to hold off on another expensive repair they recommended. The original bill became more than double once I said I was going to hold off on the other repair. Then told me that is their policy. Car was ready but then when I didn't want to do the next repair, the car wouldn't be ready for a couple hours. They were intimidating bullies, requested cash only. Horrible and scary experience. Been around the autobody industry for a long time as a insurance adjust and a shop adjuster I have not seen a shop more expensive in all my years. They do the same job as other high end shops but they think they are better then everyone and charge outrageous rates compared. I would not advise someone to go here they will rip off your insurance company bad. read more

STAY AWAY. Porsche recommended this shop, but I would never, ever go back again. "Unprofessional" doesn't quite sum it up. Took a month to get my car back due to gross mismanagement--didn't order the parts in a timely fashion (confirmed by Porsche), kept changing their story as to when car would be ready (despite emails confirming), etc. Truly shocked that they are in business. read more

I went to this body shop, as recommended by Audi to get a quote for my fender bender. They were super nice at first when they gave me a quote. I have called over and over again speaking to several people and have yet to receive a call back. I wanted to speak to someone about my quote and confirm my upcoming appointment and I cannot get anyone to return my calls. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my car there for repair or giving them my business. If this is how they treat a future customer, I certainly will not be bringing my car there! Apparently my car was not high end enough for them or had enough damage to make them want to return my calls. Horrible customer service! Sent in my bmw m3 for a dent repair and they broke it... the windows wouldent roll down and it kept malfunctioning... had to order a new part from Germany and couldent drive it for a month... After that I made the mistake of letting them fix a dent and chrome delete my new tesla, well they fixed the dent but completely forgot the chrome delete and denied that I ever asked for it!!! They are extremely overpriced too... Overall fantastic finishes is a horrible company with terrible service. read more

I had to come back for a few minor issues and I always felt welcome and treated right. By far the best body shop I've ever seen. I've gotten the grand tour there by the owner and it doesn't even resemble what you think a bod shop is. Think surgical suite. Yes, that's how nice it is. The quality of the artwork they produce is evident not only in their finished product, but the many awards they've received by Bentley, Rolls, and other automakers. Having had bad experiences with body shops in the past, I find myself inherently distrustful of the entire industry. One unfortunate evening last year, an Alzheimer's Disease patient decided to take her husband's car for a late night ride that concluded with her plowing through an intersection directly into my truck. Fortunately, nobody was injured but my truck was pretty badly damaged. Being a relatively new transplant to Florida and not knowing anybody, I contacted a friend who works as a service advisor for a Porsche dealer, who referred me to Russ and Fantastic Finishes. Russ and his staff were outstanding. Despite being primarily a Porsche shop, they had no problem working on my Expedition. He was forthcoming and honest, and the quality of his work is unparalleled. My only criticism is that the work took about two weeks longer than was estimated, but the quality of the work more than made up for the delay. It was completely worth the drive from Broward County. Fantastic Finishes of Palm Beach is the only body shop that I would use. read more

On June 11, 2018 about 12pm in the afternoon, we dropped off our Black Audi A3 for service and repair from an accident and claim with the insurer's insurance company, Allstate. Mr. Robert Ortner, the manager of Fantastic Finishes, continued to force our hand after we had received a RO (repair order) when we dropped off the car, that in order for them to begin any work or receive a clearance from Allstate, we MUST sign an additional document for authorization of repairs. Legally, all we need is a repair order and then the insurance company and the body shop negotiation the fee's and rates to come to an agreement for price. There is nothing that states the car owner needs to sign or authorize and approve for anything additional above and beyond that. I received an estimate from Fantastic Finish for $1,682.52 and then Allstate went to their shop to provide us an estimate by Allstate's adjustor Glenn Palmeri in the total amount of $629.75. My questioning was to both Allstate adjustor Glenn and body shop manager Robert as to why there is such a huge diffidence between both estimates and who's to be responsible for the deficiency. Robert advised us not to worry, that Glenn has verbally told him that once we sign and approve Fantastic Finish to do the work, after we had already received the repair order and dropped the car, Glenn would be adjusting the amount to match Fantastic Finishes estimate and paying us the $1,682.52 to then pay Fantastic Finish for the repairs. Neither of them could give me a clear and consistent answer as to why there were two completely different estimate amounts and why they were about $1,000.00 off from one another and why I needed to provide an additional authorization. Both Glenn with Allstate and Robert with Fantastic Finish were just pushing our hand to put the authorization in writing via email and we would not and did not feel comfortable to do so. We contacted Allstate immediately and spoke with a supervisor of the claims department as well as the local adjustors supervisor and both advised us that we did the right thing and this body shop is known to do this and had a reputation for this. They also informed us that legally, there is no requirement for a written authorization once you have dropped off your car and received a repair order. We went to pick up our car and Robert at Fantastic Finish could careless, didn't even approach us or say hello, or ask why we were there to pick up our car and not have it repaired there. Very shady and flaky and this business should not be tricking their customers and putting on a front to manipulate them to do something for their own benefit. Waste of our time, effort, energy and week to drive there back and forth and not get the work done. read more

Wells -- 5 star I would have loved meeting Russ, Rob and the rest of the staff under different circumstances, but if you ever need a body shop and drive a high end or really special car, I would highly recommend Fantastic Finishes, no matter where you live in Florida. I am a "Carolic" and at one time was involved in buying and repairing wrecks and I have seen many body shops, but Fantastic Finishes is like stepping into another world. The shop is amazing to see with it's black and white tiled floor. The equipment and paint booths are the latest and best, including the extremely professional staff.
