My wife and I went in to look at tile. The staff was extremely unhelpful and acted like they were doing us a favor. The associate actually made a face when asked to help us. After this experience we went to Floor and Decor in Woodinville and saw what a helpful and friendly staff is like. I wasn't impressed by this place because majority of the staff who works there seem like they just don't care about any customer service. No one comes up to ask if i needed help. I had to stand there and give someone a stare or say something for a person to look up and help me. I would give them 0 stars if I could. On 2/14/25 I paid $670.93 for a wine cabinet. It had to be made but was a standard size and not custom made. Jenn Mariano (representative) said won't be made until March 2025. Soon after, I found out I was moving and no longer could use cabinet. I called Jenn and her manager Robert Cole on 2/25/25 to let them know I wanted cabinet cancelled. Robert agreed to do so, however confirmed that "one part was pulled from Production" therefore he insisted cabinet could not be cancelled. I pleaded for them to cancel anyway. Robert than said he would for a 50% restocking fee. Restocking fees should be no more than 10-20%. They would not budge and made cabinet with out my approval . I did not receive cabinet as cancelled order and they still built cabinet and tried to deliver to old address. I never received cabinet and no money was credited to my account. I was charged $670.93 without any credits or cabinet. Do not buy from this company!!! Very poor customer service and unlawful. read more

Our builder sent us to CFM to pick out various tiles, carpets, flooring and a host of other fun stuff. A great store and great people! We've used the store at 181st ave in Gresham, and McKenzie, John, and Roger have all shown extraordinary patience with our changing our minds on items and cheerfully pull out another sample for us to check out. CFM is designed for builders and contractors and in order to take advantage of their prices (in many cases half of what you'll see in a store) you need to have a builder that is on their list. Beyond that, your builder needs to tell the store to share his price with you (and, IMO, if your builder is not willing to be upfront on his cost - look for another builder!) The people at CFM also are very skilled and experienced in their design ideas and gave us many helpful insights in picking out the best materials for our project. read more

Was recommended this place for getting my bathroom tiles updated. They have a very large collection of tiles in almost all colors, style and material you can think of! However, the staff was not too friendly. If everyone is on calls, you will almost feel unwelcome. You will need some guidance on what sections of the store to explore, so you have no option but to wait for them to hang up. They are also a tad bit over priced. But they have most tiles available in store houses or vendors nearby, so you can either collect or have your tiles picked up that day or next. I got mine in the color I wanted and when I wanted. I needed material from Bellmont Cabinets to repair a toe kick.  Contract Furnishings Mart is a dealer for Bellmont, so I contacted CFM in Redmond for a quote.  I was appalled to learn that they charge $190.55 for one piece of laminate filler material (96").  I had them double-check the quote (maybe they mistakenly quoted for a whole cabinet?), but they insisted that $190 was the price for toe kick material only. FYI, I ordered the exact same material through another dealer and paid $ 36, free delivery to my home.   CFM certainly takes the concept of dynamic pricing to a whole new level. read more

I went in and was looking around for carpet. Heather Hope is amazing. Heather was able to help me pick out what I needed. I had an idea, but I was not sure. Heather pointed me in the right direction, she is very knowledgeable about the products. After showing me plenty of options, she let me browse through them, and I was able to make a decision. I walked up to place my order and she took all of my information. It was in a matter of minutes that I had my quote and was able to phone Heather once I got home to confirm my order. I am building a custom house. I went in store for the tile selections for my entire house in September. I have been asking one of the sales rep for samples since October. It's December, and they still haven't been able to obtain all the samples. In the meantime I went to couple of tile / flooring vendors, requested a sample and it arrived within couple days at my home. Very disappointed with their lack of customer service to help me - we are talking 2 kitchens, 3 floors, 4 bathrooms, 4 fireplaces that need hard products! We went to the Everett store because we are working with a contractor that has a account there. When we walked in we were not even greeted by any of the staff. They all sat there working on their computers, glued to their chairs. We were in there about 2 hours to pick out flooring, counter tops and tile for the bath shower/tub. We finally had to go to the desk and ask if someone could bother to get up and take an order. John Dallas helped us with the order. Today, November 14. we got a call from our contractor that the flooring was being held at customs until March 2024. When we ordered the week before he didn't even look up when we would receive our order. If he had looked into it and told us it wouldn't be in until then we would have ordered something different. I called the store and talked to him and he acts like he just heard of it . Maybe so, because he didn't want to take the time to look into it when we were there the week before. I was told by the person who answered the phone that we can come in and pick out another flooring. We live in Mount Vernon and it was 3 hours on the road round trip. We are busy with the tare out and our contractor is starting this Thursday, November 17th. So there is no time to travel that far. We either have to go with no flooring in our bathroom or order at full price at a store our contractor has no account with. This put us in a bind because it was not looked in to. If you're on a time deadline, this is not the place to go. They have many options, but their ordering process takes forever! First, you need to be working with a contractor that they have an account with. You select some samples, which they will order. (There are no prices on anything so there's no way to comparison shop if you're on a budget.) They say it takes 2-3 days for the samples, but after 10 days we were still waiting. They say they'll contact your contractor for measurements... or they'll contact the installer who will get measurements... or you have to contact your contractor... or they will.... We never got a straight answer on this and after almost two weeks of run- around, we just gave up. There are lots of places to get flooring. This is not one of them. read more

I'm a tile contractor, and have been sending customers and purchasing through CFM for years now. After reading some of the reviews posted here I wanted to post a review myself. The crew at CFM are top notch, nobody's perfect, but they all work hard at what they do. The guys in the warehouse always go out of their way to try and spot mistakes and correct them before I even show up. I once showed up to pickup my order and found that they had noticed the bullnose received did not match the tile ordered, and they had already made the change order, saving me days of wait time. Now understand this, I've been doing tile for nearly 20 years, and one big issue I see in some of these negative reviews is this. YOU the HOMEOWNER are responsible to inspect the tile or flooring before it's installed. To blame CFM that the tile you hired a guy to install is not what you had in your vision, is wrong. YOU are the final check that is made before you or your contractor installs. I ALWAYS make sure that the tile I picked up is the tile the homeowner wanted by having them confirm visually before installation, because dye lots change over time. Your contractor should do the same. Also, ALWAYS order extra. At least 10%. It's better to have extra sitting around in your garage than to have your project delayed by days or weeks because you are 2 tiles short because you wanted to save $20. As a contractor, nothing is worse than having to try and squeeze a return trip into my schedule at the last minute over a simple mistake. It will cost you extra. read more

I gave this company one star because I can not give them a zero. They totally over charged my wife for 2200 sq feet of HORRIBLE flooring and it is in our house falling apart as I write. This flooring has a "Lifetime Warranty/Guarantee" stamp on the back of the sample they showed my wife 3 years ago. This sample is NOT the same as the flooring which was installed. Jeri at The Redmond location is the most amazing and helpful person to work with. We are remodeling our kitchen and living room and have very short lead times. I had been working with a sales associate in Everett that my kitchen designer recommended and they were just not helpful, I was looking with my two young children and have been at least 4-5 times. Then I decided to go to a different CFM and see if I had better luck. Jeri was such a blessing to work with. She listened to what I was looking for then had samples already selected for me when I arrived, and even carried them out to my car for me so I could get the kids in the car. She went above and beyond every step. She called her suppliers and found wood flooring that wasn't even sampled in showrooms but that was available immediately and she had two board samples made up for me. Then she recommended I bring a box home and lay it out to make sure I liked it!!! I have been so blown away by the service and thoughtfulness at every turn! I would happily drive over an hour just to work with Jeri in Redmond. When I would drop samples off she would come out to the car so I didn't have to get the kids out for a short visit. This store is soooo helpful and understanding to moms. The other location was decidedly not helpful they just checked out samples and you were on your own. Jeri has been a Godsend to work with!! Well, I have to provide an update regarding the order handling process. Oh Redmond CFM Team, how hard is it? Had to reorder some extra tiles and after a lot of back and forth they found them in their Kent warehouse, at least that's what they thought. So I drove there today during prime traffic only to find out that they have it in Seattle and not Kent. Minor geographical deviation from space but a real pain down here. It's really not rocket science to keep proper inventory records but they have a captive audience so I guess they just don't care. Anyway if you are looking for tiles their showroom selection is good, ordering is a whole different story. read more

And the sales consultants are knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered carpet here in late winter. We were told it was a premium, designer carpet that would wear well in a high traffic area in our home. It has not worn well at all and there several threads pulled up already. We were also given a price for the upgraded memory foam pad that was incorrect and was several dollars more per square foot than originally stated. We are disappointed in the quality of the carpet as well as the advice that we received regarding carpet durability. This was our primary reason for upgrading carpet. read more

Contract Furnishing Mart has a great showroom. They tend to get really busy in person and on the phone, so take some time browsing and understand they may not get to you within the first five minutes. After an initial visit, I finally decided on some flooring from the manufacturer, Shaw. Those trying to go less expensive, be cautious, as the stuff coming from China was made with famtldahyde in it. Shaw is US made. Ron was pretty much my sales guy and he was super patient with me. I'm not the most decisive person, and he helped me with both my laminate and carpet. Ordering was super easy, and fortunately my purchase was in stock so we got it next couple of days. Will call was super easy too, and they guys just load it straight into your truck with no hassle! When you pick up your materials, try to be conscientious of the time, and don't show up 15 minutes before they close. They pack the materials well, and it isn't fair to them to get a swarm of people before closing. Tip: showroom stays open on Wednesdays till 7, with limited staffing, but I found the best service at this time. Also, they have a great candy bowl, and I kept going back for more! Once we get to the kitchen portion of our house, I will be back to take advantage of purchasing their gorgeous countertops and tile! Thank you Ron! read more

Good selection of tile, but holy cow, most people that work there, with the exception of Tony who is great, are so rude, that I dont want to work with CFM. And let me be clear, I am not talking about contractor brashness (which I am used to and okay with), I am talking about sit on the phone and talk to people you like while I stand there rudeness. I am talking about help someone who walked in after me rudeness. I am talking about give me a dirty look, but banter with customers you seem to know rudeness. I am talking about whenever I ask a question the lady says "I dont know, thats something to ask your contractor", when she didn't say that to other people. What the heck, I am asking tile questions, and you brush me off? This is a tile store, right?? Forget it, I will go elsewhere. If you do go to CFM, deal with Tony, and Tony only. Ron, the Manager at the Issaquah CFM went beyond excellent service, found some additional tile and personally drove it to us so we had enough to complete the project the next morning.
