They went the extra mile in every facet of my experience, from walking into the showroom to the last install with them in replacing my carpet and installing new LVP. Dave, Jeff, Cesar were all extremely friendly, honest, detail oriented, helpful, explanatory, professional and timely. They even recalculated a detailed receipt that was separated between what my insurance (leak) agreed to pay for and the extra areas I was paying for out of pocket. I researched and received quotes from several other flooring/carpeting stores, but none of them came even close to the service (AND PRICES!) offered by Consolidated Carpets. Will be going back to them and referring all my friends and family to them. I bought my first house this fall and one of my first priorities was replacing the old and stained carpet with something new and fresh. Dave and Jeff were amazing. They helped me pick out a lovely carpet that was on the more budget side and explained the different carpet padding options I had available. After testing them out I settled on upgrading from the base padding and I've never been so happy with an upgrade in my life. Scheduling and installing were a breeze, they were in and out quickly and left behind stunning work. My carpet is absolutely gorgeous (I know, it's carpet, but it's still gorgeous) and absolutely delightful to walk on. I love the extra cushion the middle-grade padding gives it and I'm thrilled with the entire transaction. If I ever need to replace carpet again, I'm definitely coming back here! read more

After tiring of the box store (H Depot), I gave these folks a try for the first time last year. Let's just say I've now over the past year patronized three separate times, spending thousands of dollars. That sort of repeat business should say all that matters right there. What I like: ( ) Good service: Jeff, Dave and the folks here are courteous and know carpet. Even if busy, you shouldn't have to wait to get acknowledged. No pressure for upsells and they try to keep it simple and straightforward. ( ) Veteran installers. All three times it was the same installers. I like getting to know them and having even a modicum of trust with whoever is in my house. AFAIK, these guys have been with them for years. ( ) Quality and variety. You can get simple carpet or lush. Depends on your budget. I wouldn't categorize anything as 'cheap' but I think there are 'budget' options. We've now done simple $3/ft neutral, and $7/ft bold, lush colorful. House is looking good and we get comments. Pricing is such that basic padding and installation is included. I usually upgrade the pad for another 25c/ft. Install is part of the per/sq ft price. So no, you may not get the 'specials' sometimes offered by others (but I have found caveats with those, hence another reason I stopped going; tired of unwelcome surprises). No question, Consolidated Carpets is our first choice now. For us, it has the extra advantage of only being a few blocks away here in Greenwood. It doesn't feel laborious like it does at H Depot and I like that it's all 'one company' to deal with: They do the measuring and subsequent ordering and installation scheduling can all happen at once. They just make it as easy and straightforward as they can. Additionally, they made me happy enough to have finally signed up for Yelp and make this my first review :) read more

We needed a quick turn job and I am so happy that I sought out the help of Consolidated Carpets! On Sunday morning, I visited the store up on 85th in Greenwood to look at in stock carpets. This was my first home and first time installing new carpet and Dave was super helpful and knowledgeable. Dave sent me home with a few samples and an appointment for Jeff to come out and measure on Tuesday. We found a sample that we really liked that was in stock and at a great price (I called around to compare). Jeff arrive on Tuesday afternoon and measured, gave me the final price and scheduled the install for Friday. Our carpet was installed by late Friday night and looked awesome!! Overall, the experience was almost too easy! If you need something fast, want to support a local business instead of big box and want good customer service then you should check out Consolidated Carpets immediately! read more

I had a custom stair runner done on my hardwood stairs with this company and the service was great. It felt like a family run enterprise with classic business values. Fair prices, and after the installer missed a final stair riser the company had them come out and fix the error immediately and were really nice about it. I'm glad I bought through them! read more

One of the worst consumer experiences we have ever had. Jeff will tell you whatever he thinks that you want to hear. Later he well deny it and tell you all warranties come from the manufacturer, not him. Mohawk will not stand behind their product. So, you are stuck! We purchased one of the highest end Mohawk products and it has failed. They call it "sprouts." A nice term for the yarn is not properly attached to the backing. Jeff calls it "Not my problem." The installers played loud music until 9 pm, made a mess in our bathroom, blew up a burrito in our microwave (we are a vegetarian household) without asking, and had to come back to fix an obvious problem. I had an exceptionally positive experience working with Consolidated Carpets. As soon as I walked in the manager, Jeff, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patiently answered all my questions. Once I had selected a carpet, he came out within a few days to measure and give me a quote. I was able to schedule the installation on the date that I requested, and the installers were terrific. They were very conscientious and were extremely careful in moving our furniture and making sure not to put any nicks in the woodwork. I couldn't be happier with the result. read more

I do not recommend this place. In an attempt to get new outdoor carpeting, the manager came out and reviewed the scope of the work. So far, so good. Our estimate came in at $1,200. Again, so far so good. When I asked about picking out the carpet, the guy told me to come in and pick it out. When I showed up a few days later to choose the make and color, he told me that he did not have samples from the manufacturer and that he expected them any day. Ok, fine. I waited a week or so, still no book to select from. Then when I asked when it would be in he said he would find out and call me back. I did not hear anything for at least a week. When I called this morning, he said, "oh yeah, sorry I never called you back. I still do not have the book and since it is coming in on a truck I don't know when it will get here." WTF!?! What he said next totally shocked me, he actually said to me, "You should probably go somewhere else because I don't know when the book will come in." Ummm, ok. It is clear that this person does not want our business. If you want efficient service and a quick product delivery this is not the place to call. What a waste of my time and his! read more

I ordered carpet from these guys to replace the old carpet in my rental unit. When my renters decided to extend their lease, I needed to cancel the installation over a month in advance and only 5 days after I placed the order. Jeff, the manager, was completely inflexible and argued that they had already cut the carpet and had it sitting in the warehouse ready for installation. He kept my entire deposit. These guys are the manipulative salesmen you expect from used car dealers. Go somewhere with better customer service. read more

I would recommend this store to anyone! I have used their services for several residences and am now planning on having them carpet/vinyl my new condo. On recommendation of friend in 1999 who had used them for her tri-plex I had Jeff give me advice, help pick colors, etc. and have always been very satisfied and glad to get advice I could trust. Their installers are the best.. I have discovered how important it is to have properly installed carpet. My move is made so much easier knowing I can trust this company to help me pick out flooring, either carpet or other flooring, that I will be happy with. These guys have been great to work with! After tons of research and visiting several Seattle stores for quotes on the flooring I wanted (IVC Moduleo Luxury Vinyl), Consolidated Carpet won my business from the first visit. They were very knowledgeable about the product, but didn't pressure me into a purchase or their installation services. They reaffirmed what I had read online, and assured me that this was a solid product, yet easy enough for a diy install. They were able to quickly fulfill my order at great price. I made several trips to pick up the flooring in my small car, and they were friendly and helpful each time. I called up months later to add on to my order and discuss a stair piece. They actually suggested checking with another retailer to get a better price on a comparable stair piece due to the cost of a piece much larger than I needed.
