Absolutely horrible customer service. My husband and son have gone here several times but will NOT be returning ever! After the horrible customer service we just experienced with my daughter. She had just flown on from college and being that this is our neighborhood Fantastic Sam's. We decided to check in online around 4:30. It should about a 2 hour wait accord to the app so we arrived at the suggested time. Upon arrival there were two women working.. one was not welcoming at all .. I believe her name was Mariam. I'm familiar with her name as I mentioned before my son and husband regularly have their haircut there. Well the other woman let us know that HER last appointment was at 6:30 but that we have to wait for 5 minutes and if he shows up that my daughter cannot get her hair cut. (Despite the fact that we checked in 2 hours prior with a first available stylist) She then proceeded to take my daughter to sit to get her hair washed.. just as she was gonna turn the water on for the wash the 6:30 appointment arrives and she makes my daughter get up and tells us she can't cut it!!! (mind you , there are two stylist there!) apparently the check in system is flawed and means nothing!! AVOID this place at all cost if you're looking for good customer service , because honestly quality is NOT that great either! my husband and son would only go there because it is in our neighborhood to support our neighborhood business..but NOT anymore! read more

This salon is a very clean, nice and the employees are friendly. My stylist did an OK job cutting my hair. They do charge for each individual thing they do making a haircut and a blow dry quite expensive. I spent $35 on products she used on my hair in the salon. In the salon she used her products on me. I never used the products at home so they were brand new. Not long after I left the salon I realized neither product was good for my fine, thin hair. Today I went to return those products. I don't have the paper receipt but I have the one they emailed me. It does not say anything about no returns. But that is the policy. They stated you cannot return any items. Needless to say, I will never never return to their salon! read more

I came today to try to get a haircut, this would be my fourth visit to this location. I checked in and waited for a little bit while listening to Claudia have a personal phone call with someone in the back ignoring me. Then when she Decided to help me I asked for a zero to mid fade she said that she doesn't do zeros sorry... What???? I've never heard of this before... didn't have an issue during My 3 previous visits.... But now it's a problem. No thanks Claudia! I'll Come back when Miriam is there. read more

If I could give it a 0 I would, I asked for and showed my stylist a picture of what I wanted. A very low fade that only touched the bottom of my back hair and then fade it to the side. Keep the bangs and top of my hair lengthy but not bushy (so just a trim barely touching my hair) and what I got was horrifying. So embarrassing after flexing for cutting hair for years she said to mess up so bad. Shaved all of my head side and back. Cut my bangs and top so short. Asked for a refund 5 minutes later because I was so embarrassed to make a scene right there because 2 other stylists looked at me and knew she messed up and I felt like all eyes were on me. Waited in my car feeling so bad came back in and got a "we can't give refunds but I'll talk to my manager" (wasn't there) so they are making me wait 2 days just for 25 dollars that I'm not 100% sure of not even getting back. (17 haircut and tip which I should've just left). If you want them to shave your head then go for it. read more

I wanted a simple haircut. A chin length bob, nothing fancy. Claudia was the hairdresser and while she was very pleasant, I would not let her near my head with a pair of scissors again. What I ended up with was a chopped up mess because apparently she decided I needed layers. I did not even get layers, at least not good ones. I got unevenly cut hair along with some random long straggly pieces that somehow missed the scissors entirely. read more

Pretty disappointed with the quality. Big oof! I came here because there were decent reviews and maybe it was just my stylist that was not as skilled or as talented as some of the others, but I left pretty disappointed. My daughter got a deep conditioning treatment with a blow dry and I got a haircut and a style. The shampooing was terrible and I didn't think that was even possible. She did not even scrub my scalp or anything and my hair smelled nothing like shampoo or that clean smell after everything was done. I request a face frame and long layers and she did cut my hair as such, but I couldn't tell you if it was actually done correctly because she could not style it to save her life! Even the way she was using the flat iron was cringe. I eventually told her I would style it at home. They didn't charge me for the style, so that's a plus. Here is the problem though, my hair is not clean so now I have to go home, wash it, dry it, and style it. I paid for a blow dry that was useless. Yeah, avoid this place. I want to say the stylist's name was Julia. I left a tip because I am not a monster, but yeah, I was very dissatisfied. Go see Miriam! She turned my fragile, lifeless, straw-like hair into a soft, bouncy creation and I am so happy with how my hair turned out! She cut off 90% of my split ends throughout my hair without sacrificing any length. She walked through my hair care routine and was completely non-judgmental and educated me on how to better take care of my hair. I ended up purchasing the products she used and recommended on me. All in all with a cleansing conditioner, leave in moisturizer and hair cut was $68! I consider that a steal. I took the two 12 year old girls I pick up from school here for their appointments. Claudia did a shampoo, blow dry and style on one girl. She did a great job and the young lady was really happy with her hair. Patty did a shampoo and cut on the other sister. The young lady showed Patty a photo of how she wanted her hair cut. This was the same photo she showed the last person who cut her hair. The prior stylist cut it EXACTLY like the photo. Patty asked the girl if she wanted curtain bangs. That's what the prior stylist called the bangs when she gave her the haircut she loved. Patty cut her bangs so short the girl was in tears. When I asked her why she cut them so short Patty said it was because the girl asked for curtain bangs. I googled curtain bangs and found numerous photos of LONG "bangs" that were as long as mid-cheek. Patty cut her bangs to the bridge of her nose. Curtain bangs is a style, not a length! She showed Patty a photo and Patty decided on her own to cut her bangs short and said "that's what curtain bangs are." Will never bring the girls here again! read more

I am super super picky when it comes to who cuts my hair as I have a pretty unique style going on. I was very new in town so finding someone that I could trust was a must. After my first cut by Sarah (really hope I'm using the right spelling on that) I was relieved I found someone of such quality so quickly. She's the real deal. Seriously! You can tell she loves what she does and truly takes pride in making sure the experience is noteworthy and worth every last stickin' penny. The service is 10/10, conversation always genuine and inviting, and the cut is consistently stellar. This may be a chain, but she acts as if she has immediate stake in the success and failure of the salon. I genuinely can't speak highly enough about her. Worth the 25 minute drive all day, every day. read more

I don't know what happened, we have been going here for about 2 years. The past few months I have not been happy with our haircuts. My two boys get their haircuts here. But both boys, at different times, the past 2 times their cuts have not been good. The one stylist even started saying that my son had a bad cut previously and I said he only comes here so besides being unprofessional at bashing his prior cut- it was actually done at her store. I also get my haircut here and normally like it. I went a couple months ago and got a cut with no blow dry, I wasn't happy when I got home, just not as much cut or layered as I'd like but figured it was my fault for not getting a blow dry. So, I went yesterday and got a blow dry and showed her pictures of what I wanted. She styled it in a way that was nothing like the pictures and I did not like the style. But I didn't say anything figuring the cut was ok. No- when I got home and styled it I realized the cut is awful. The layers are terrible and not blended, the back is longer than the front and not in a cute Bob way- it's probably the worst haircut I've ever had. And she has cut my hair multiple times before with the same pictures I showed her yesterday. Extremely angry that I wasted over $60 and my time and now I'm going somewhere else to get it fixed costing me more time and money. Sadly we will not be back to this store. read more

Went to this place for several years. Recently had some dumb blonde named Tara butcher my hair. Smelled like an ashtray and cared zero about the job she was doing. Knew she sucked so bad that she didn't even show me the back of my head and left me in the bib after the haircut was finished. Never go to this place and get the skinny blonde unless you want your head chopped off. Please fire this worthless piece of garbage whoever the manager is. read more
