Amazing place for children to meet Disney Princesses some many of the animated classic fairly tales like Cinderella and Snow White!

"Where Happily Ever After Happens Every Day!" Come meet the Princesses! 1. 2 hour line sucks. 2, It can get hot and frustrating.. 3. Frustrating and frustrated little kids 4. Yelling, screaming, crying 5. The wait is worth it! If you have little girls in your life, they probably like the princesses. If they do, this is a must. There is nothing better than the first trip. Sure, the kids get frustrated in this long line. BUT, this is similar to driving to Vegas. You know the trip. You drive for hours with nothing but desert, then you turn the bend in the middle of the night and you see the lights of Vegas in the distance. There is a similar situation with this attraction. After all that waiting, the kids get grumpy. Once you enter and turn the corner, there they are. Fancy Princesses in their stunning attire. Cartoons come to life and the dreams of the kids turned to reality. For the first time in visiting Disneyland as an Adult, my memories of Disneyland as a child were revived. There is nothing as grand as seeing the faces of all the little girls as they see these lovely ladies. It reminded me of why this place is the happiest place on earth. In all the years I've been to Disneyland, I've never ventured to this area. Didn't know what it was or cared to find out. Now that we are AP pass holders, I came here today to take the toddler to meet some princesses! We waited 15 minutes in line and met with: 1) Cinderella 2) Ariel 3) Snow White As we came out of the royal hall, we saw Princess Elena! She also autographed & took pictures with us. Across the way, we went to the Royal Theater and met with Belle after her show too. What a great way to meet 5 princesses in one sweep! All done within 45 minutes :) read more

Fantasy Faire is the easiest way to meet and greet some of your royal favorites! The few times I have been to Fantasy Faire the wait was nothing crazy and was below 15minutes! You get to walk through rooms and meet royal characters, such as: Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming, and many more! While you are visiting, do not forget to ask for a picture or autograph. This is such an easy and smooth experience in meeting your favorite characters. I highly recommend coming by if you love the royals! read more

I cant remember ever coming to the Royal Hall in my childhood trip to DIsney but seeing the little one get so excited to see the Princesses was priceless! Before heading inside we stood in line to meet the Princess Jasmine and Aladdin and took a family picture with them before going in line to see the who was at home in the Royal Hall. Inside we met Cinderlla, Princess Tiana who was my granddaughters favorite, and Snow White who all of my girls loved. Snow White told the little one to be sure to make a wish in her wishing well before we left the Castle and because of her promise to the Princess we made sure to check that off the list. Have your photopass ready for this one because you will want a family picture with your family's favorite Princess for sure. read more

Fantasy Faire is a cute and quaint area off to the side of the castle, here you can see the beautiful Rapunzel Tower light up, have some yummy goodies at Maurice's Treat, catch a cute show at the Royal Theatre or fulfill your dreams and tap into your inner child (if you're not a child) by visiting the Princesses at the Royall Hall. Also if you're lucky you might catch Gaston roaming around! The Royal Hall, I can finally cross this off of my list!! All of the years I've been going to Disneyland and I've never stepped foot in here (partly because of the hour long line I always see ugh). I casually got there right when they opened and there was only a 5 min wait, I might have even wait 20 minutes to see my fav princess Ariel. Having never been here I wasn't sure what to expect, I thought you just take a picture with one Princess and that's all. Wrong! I was able to meet three Princesses, Elena of Avalor, Ariel and Snow White. I find this way better than lining up to take a pic with Mickey or Goofy because the Princesses are very personable, they interact with you and get to know you a little all while getting your pictures taken. As a child I don't recall experiencing this or taking pictures with my favorite Princess so it was definitely an experience and I would gladly go again to see different Princesses as they are different everyday. The Royal Theatre is currently showing a Beauty and the Beast themed show in honor of the upcoming release of the live action movie as well as the transformation in Fantasyland. Maurice's Treats is one of those food stands that is somewhat hidden and hardly ever has a line but they serve some yummy items. They are well known for their cheddar garlic bagel twists and boysen apple freeze. They have transformed the menu a bit to feature a "grey stuff" twist, strawberry rose twist, dipping sauces and a red rose lemonade freeze all in honor of the upcoming Beauty and The Beast. I would definitely check this little area out, it's cute and not too crazy and it has a lot to offer. read more

I love the magic you can find over at this part of the land. They have a Royal Theater where two storytellers weave the magical tales of Beauty and the Beast and Tangled for their audiences. Their shows are a mixture of song and humor that you can't help, but smile and enjoy the fun they bring to these tales. Then there is Maurice's cart of baked goods, including one of my favorite treats at the parks, which is a garlic cheese twist that is good enough to share between two people. They also have an area where you get to meet different Disney princesses, such as Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Rapunzel. Little princesses that have made their transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo store are able to get a fastpass experience to see their princesses. There is also a gift store where little princesses can buy accessories and toys related to their favorite characters. And they have a pin trading board for your enjoyment too. But there are so many more little secrets in this area that I don't want to spoil for you! Let's just say that something magical happens to Rapunzel's tomorrow when it gets a bit darker :) read more

Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora...Disney princesses everywhere. The Princess Fantasy Faire does a great job of putting some of the most sought after Disney characters all in one place at one time. If I remember right the princesses would randomly show up around the Castle and it was hard to find them when you really wanted a picture Save yourself tons of time waiting in line and make this one of the first things you do in your day...especially if you have little princess girls with you who want to meet their favorite princess. Most of the time Princess Fantasy Faire opens like a hour after the park opens so you can totally go straight there and be one of the first to get your pictures taken. Sure the line can be ridiculous at times but to those kids it is like waiting in line to see an A-List celebrity. After waiting your time in line you get to spend time walking down the royal walk...getting to stop every few feet and take pictures with random princesses. The only problem is that the princess you want to take pictures with may not necessarily be one of the princesses that is on the royal walk at the time you get there. It can be funny at times because you might have Ariel at the first spot and then say Snow White at the second stop and then Mulan or Pocahontas is at the third stop. You know the kids REALLY want to get their picture with Mulan...most of them do not even know who she is. I feel sorry for her sometimes. I love being able to meet more than one princess in one place, the Royal Hall. This in a way saves you time but I do know that on busy days, the line here can be long and the wait can be crazy for kids. Lucky for me, I have no kids and just have to bare with everyone's craziness (which is fun to watch when you are somewhat buzzed from drinking double pear martinis at California Adventures). I like to kill time here just people watching and trying to guess how long it will take for some parents to loose their patience. I like to also think of stuff I might ask the princess to enhance my interaction with them. The few times I've met them, the wait has been totally worth it. I've taken my puppy brother to meet the girls here and they love him as much as he loves them. I've never really felt rushed and I like how personal it feels to be in the room with just them and the photographer taking your pictures (no crowds watching you). This is a great spot for photos and also for those that collect autographs. I've been able to meet Cinderella, Snow White and Belle. You can ask Cinderella how Gus and Jaq are doing or how it feels like to ride a pumpkin. I like to always remind Snow White to not eat apples from strangers and ask her to whistle for me (she's pretty darn good). As for Belle, I've asked her what her favorite book to read is (or a book recommendation), I've also like to ask her what she thinks of Gaston and how Philipe is doing) Sometimes you might see Merida outside and ask her for a quick archery lesson. You might be able to catch the Frozen show at the Royal Theater (go early, it gets super crowded). If you get hungry, you are able to get a quick snack from Maurice Treat Cart. They sell some twisted snacks that look sort of like churros or bread sticks. If you feel like shopping, there is also a small shop, The Fairy Tale Treasure Shop filled with crowns, clothes and all sort of princess things. TIp: -There is a bathroom as you exit/enter the place over by Rancho del Zocalo that usually isn't very busy. -You might want to use flash in your pictures, it is a bit dark in the Royal Hall. read more

Mesmerized my two year old niece!! My niece is grown from a a tough, no fear 1 year old to a super Princessed out 2 year old..I hope that trend reverses a little, but oh well. The niece dawned her princess dress and heels and went to Disneyland, hoping to see a Disney princess, little did she know that she would meet 3 and see another 3!!! We really didn't have any clue that the Princess Fantasy Faire existed, but it was sure worth our time. We went to the Faire around 10:30am on a Saturday, the line was really short, probably only 15-20 minute wait. The Princesses available were Tiana, Ariel and Pocohantas. Each Princess was very nice and patient with my niece, they talked to her and made her feel special. She loved Tiana and was speechless with Ariel (her favorite). Pocohantas wasn't what I envisioned though, I think she needed a tan. There is a "Royal Coronation Ceremony" with three more princesses (I forget which ones, sleep beauty, cinderella and snow white?). This part is very interactive for the little kids, where they get to to dance and play with a may pole. Overall a great experience for my niece, I even got some Coronation dancing in myself. TIP: Ask the cast members who are helping out with the photos who else will be available. The one I spoke to said that Bell would switch with Pocohantas (which she did). TIP 2: The line will be longer after the coronation ceremony, so get there early. read more

Step into an extension part of Fantasyland with the Fantasy Faire. Cross the bridge and come into a medieval village. As you walk into the village, you may immediately be drawn to the maypole in the Faire's square. The maypole is based on Rapunzel's tower from the movie "Tangled". To the left, you will find the Royal Theatre. Here, you can find two shows. One on Beauty and the Beast, the other on Rapunzel. These shows are in the style of how they would have presented them to the villagers in the 17th and 18th centuries. They are told with a narrator, the main characters, a piano player supplying the music, and themed stagehands. And there are no special effects as you might see in other theatre productions (like Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular) Just outside of the Royal Theatre is Maurice's Treats. Here, you'll find Strawberry Twists, Chocolate Twists, and Cheddar Garlic Bagel twists. For beverages, it appears to be Boysen Apple Freeze and water. To the right, near the side passage way to Fantasyland, is the Royal Hall where you can actually greet Aurora, Cinderella, and Ariel. The queue will take place in a covered area before you step inside. Once inside, there are three chambers, with a princess in each one of the three Several other items of interest here at the Faire are the animated Figaro on a windowsill. Every now and then the little bird in the cage will sing a song, waking Figaro up. But all Figaro wants to do is sleep. Another item is Clopin's Music Box. Turn the crank and hear "Topsy Turvey" as the "Festival of Fools" comes to life with animated painted flats For your Princesses shopping needs, Fairy Tale Treasures is the place to go. For trivia lovers, on the tallest steeple in the Faire, you'll find the crest with the letters CPG. Those are the initials of Carnation Plaza Gardens, the former occupant of the area before it was completely transformed into the Faire Once Disney took out the old Carnation Plaza Gardens restaurant, this area was so underutilized. So I think this area is much more appealing and deserving for the Disney Princesses instead of the old Fantasyland Theatre or the temporary Small World promenade. By transforming this area, it frees up the old Fantasy Faire by "it's a small world", which will be used once again as an amphitheater for "Mickey and the Magical Map" read more

Every little girl (and some adults) will have the new Princess Fantasy Faire attraction at the top of her list. Featuring meeting/autograph opportunities with the princesses, and a theather with Tangled and Beauty & The Beast shows this is the latest hotspot for those in their princess phase. LOCATION: As you walk down Main Street, it's immediately to the left of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. It's accessible from Frontierland, Main Street, or Fantasyland. DESIGN: Stepping into the Fantasy Faire is like stepping right into one of the princess fairytales. It's like the opening scenes in the small town from Beauty & Beast have come to life. ROYAL HALL: This is the main reason for most kids to stop here. After waiting in line (partially covered with fans for those hot summer days), you wind through the hall and get to meet 3 princesses (Aurora, Ariel, and Cinderella on our visit). The cast members do a good job of giving each kid adequate time with the princesses, with the kids never feeling hurried. Each princess took time to really speak with the kids, ask them questions, sign autograph books, give them a hug, and pose for a photo. If you have a little girl (or boy) that loves princesses this is a must see. I'm sure during peak seasons the lines here are going to be absurd. ROYAL THEATRE: Featuring a live keyboard player, a comedy duo tells one of two stories - Tangled or Beauty & The Beast - with the requisite princesses and cohorts involved as well in a fast-paced, humorous show that will please both kids and parents. Make sure to get there early especially if your kid wants a seat on the rugs in the front of the theather. MAURICE'S TREATS: We didn't buy anything here but the smells of baked goods was intoxicating. The speciality drinks come in a souvenir mug (looks like a wooden mug that Maurice or Gaston would use). FAIRY TALE TREASURES: This is yet another place where you can buy dresses and accessories for your little princess. It's like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique-lite. read more

I can't believe that after how many time I've been to Disney that I never knew about this location =/. I thought for us to meet the princesses, we have to just be lucky and happen to come across them when we walk around the park. So this castle is where you can meet 3 princesses at a time!!! It is a one on one interaction separated by different section but you don't have to wait in 3 different lines! They will post the name of the princesses in the front of the line, 2 disclosed and 1 surprises. We happened to know about this because we were waiting in line for Belle and overheard one of the parents talking about it. The line was only about 15 minutes. The experience was very magical for my 4 year old. She squealed every time she turned the corner and see another princess. A must visit for all that are a fan of the princesses. read more

This review is for the Royal Hall portion of the Princess Fantasy Faire. My girlfriend is as much of a Disney fan as I am, and as we hadn't been to this area of the park before - and as it was her birthday weekend - we decided to check it out. This is essentially a meet and greet for young girls (and some ladies) to get their pics taken with the princesses on duty that day. For our visit, we had Cinderella, Ariel, and Aurora. These gals are incredibly good humored and patient with their visitors. The five star rating is for the following exchange with one of the photographer's assistants and my girlfriend, Kathy: Cast Member (CM): *after seeing Kathy's birthday button* "Ah, happy birthday! How old are you turning?" Kathy: "Um..." CM: "Let me guess - 21?" Kathy: "No." CM: "25?" Kathy: "No." CM: "26, 27, 28?" Kathy: "No." CM: "How old ARE you turning?" Kathy: "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." CM: "Try me." Kathy: "I'm turning 40." Get here early or use a human marker to save your spot in the line!! The Tangled show is one of the best in such a long a time. The way they represent the stories in short form with a comedy twist is much better than the movie for Parents LOL! Yes its enjoyable for the kiddies as well, but really Parents will enjoy the show more while the kids try and remember that this is not like the movies. Disneyworld not that long ago updated their Fantasyland and I was happy to see that Disneyland made a great choice and added this new "faire" to the park. It is a fantastic addition to the park and for families with young "princesses" it is a can't miss attraction. I did find it a bit hilarious that there was a good size line to meet the Disney princesses, but there were "princes" just roaming around with no crowds at all. What better way for the little ones who want to meet princesses than to meet more than one at once. Being able to meet more than one princess at once helps so we don't have to go wait in more lines. Unless the princess you really wanted to see wasn't in there. The line does take a while since the families are walking thru taking photos. Also because anyone who comes from Bibbidi bobbidi boutique gets to go straight to the front of the line and are first priority. I think that's great because those princesses are getting treated like the true princesses they are. Going in there are normally 3 princesses. The staff telling you where to go are great and really get into character. They are great with kids. The princesses also are so sweet and play the part as well. Today's Ariel was amazing. She was really making every person she spoke to light up with a smile. The photos always come out beautiful! read more

This place is like heaven on earth for my four year old twin girls. Dad gets in line, while the family enjoys the park. You can text / call mom when you are getting close, the kids show up from toontown or Its a Small World, which is right next door, and they pop in line with you, and you are set. The Faire is also right next to the Toontown Railroad station, in case they are in other parts of the park. I was one of about five dads in line, waiting so their daughters could meet the princess crew. On deck our day was Ariel (aka GOD to one of my daughters), Cinderella (asst. God) and Tiana (they loved her accent). A few tips: 1. Unless you have a crap load of money, when you exit, do it quick and distract your daughters, because the meet and greet exits into the Bippity Boppdity Boutique, AKA the Princess Store wallet suck. It was, however, the only place I could find a Ariel wig for my daugther. 2. The line has several switchbacks. Plan on about 45 minutes per switchback. Wait until you get about fourth in line to call the family over, you still have about 10 minutes to wait, and if they are late, you can just let me go ahead of you. There will always be a line, even when the rest of the park is dead. You just deal with it. 3. Every princess is there every day, but you never know which three will be there when your turn is up. Last time, Ariel was going off stage right as we came around the corner, but Mulan came out so they were happy. 4. The line is in the shade, and there are bathroom and food right next to it, so when I was solo a nice family held my spot while I'll took a leak. Bottom line, if you have girls, this place is MANDATORY. read more

This is the only guaranteed place - other than the expensive princess breakfast at DCA - to meet your fave (and not fave) Disney princesses. Much like if you're hoping to meet up with a princess elsewhere (try just inside the main gate first thing in the morning), there's no guarantee about who's inside - the princesses rotate - so check the board outside to see who's present. I waited in line about 40 minutes to get inside, and the line was fortunately in the shade (I still ended up with pics of sweaty Amy K. with princesses, like the classy woman I am). You're allowed in a few people at a time, and then circulate between small individual areas to meet three princesses; I was able to meet Ariel, Snow White, and Cinderella. There's a photographer stationed at each princess, and you'll be issued a Photo Pass card (if you don't already have one) to present at each princess's alcove, and as with any photographer in the park, you can hand over your phone/camera and ask for photos to be taken on your personal device. What I liked best was how graciously I was treated, since I was a single adult without a kid; I wouldn't have been vaguely offended if each princess gave me about 30 seconds and saved the charm and chit chat for the little ones. But no! I had a full conversation with each princess, and Ariel was particularly smitten by my Dinglehoppers SC shirt (of course). To be honest, I was kind of thrown off by the princesses' willingness to talk with me, and then got all flustered because, y'know, they're PRINCESSES. Usually the characters you get to take photos with are animals and they don't talk to you, so having a character respond to me was borderline confusing, although I guess after the wait, you earned an audience. This is a must for any child (or adult) who loves Disney princesses. I know some days/times the wait is longer than others, but it's pretty fun. read more

The way they run this is a joke! I took my 2 girls here to get pictures with the princess so we stood in line for our turn. As we where waiting patiently for our turn about 20 little girls dressed like there favorite princess cut in the front of the line. I asked the employee, AKA cast member why was they aloud to cut in the line like that, and he said girls dressed like princesses and get there hair, make up, ect, done at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique get to go first. So what they are saying is if you spend money you can have the right to cut in line? How is that fare? Is this what Disneyland has came too? letting people cut in line and it's ok, they promote that! Wow!!! So They dress like the theme of the attraction and spend money, and it's ok to take cuts? So I guess if I want to cut in line for the Haunted Mansion all I have to do is dress like a ghost, or Space Mountain dress like an Astronaut, or a cowboy for Big Thunder Mountain, and that's totally ok, I can cut in line then??? TIP: Get there early! Visited during Spring Break (Thursday March 28th). The park opened at 8AM and we got to to the faire at 8:45AM, we walked right in (No wait) the Princess Meet & Greet and met Aurora, Ariel & Cinderella. We visited the small shop but didn't see anything 'special' other than a large autograph/photo album. We came back at 9:40AM to watch the 9:45AM show and barely got a seat. At that point the wait for the Princess Meet was 45min. The food cart had various 'bread wraps' we got a bagel wrap and ate it while we watched the show, (it was pretty filling for me & my little one to share) . The wrap was worth the money and in case you didn't catch the drift, you can eat in the theater. If you don't get a seat to the show, no worries, your allowed to stand outside and still watch. read more

We just went again to Disneyland on Wednesday and this was our first time going to the Fantasy Faire. No my Mum is 79 and I am 40 but we are both kids at heart. The Princess' were amazing. We saw Belle, Tiana who was ABSOLUTELEY AMAZING. I have added a photo, and Ariel. We had to wait about 40 minutes but it was worth every minute to get to see 3 princess' at once. Best thing I ever did was read these other reviews before we went! Sat grandma in line in here wheelchair and went and rode its a small world until she was fourth in line (which was only 45 minutes on a Monday). It was my four year olds birthday and she was dressed as Tiana....first princess was Tiana! She squealed with delight and got a big hug. Then she met Ariel and Cinderella. They all looked spot on, each took time to speak with her, took great pictures and she was beaming. We exited quickly ignoring the store (wow pricey). She is still talking about it. This is must for little girls in their damsel training. The shows are pretty good. Tangled in the morning, Beauty and the Beast in the after. 2 year old daughter loved this. You wait in a small line (20-30 min average) to meet 2 or 3 live princesses. We met Ariel, Cinderella, and Aurora. You get maybe 1 or 2 minutes with each princess and they will spend time talking with your group. Picture opportunities galore! We took advantage of both the photo pass and using our smartphones (allowed). The princesses were sweet and signed our daughter's book she brought. Memories were definitely made here. read more

BEST USE OF MY TIME! AH, I love the princesses, they are all so beautiful. I saw Tiana & Belle when I was in line for the Storybook ride but when I was done, they had switched princesses! It was then Snow White, Aurora & Cinderella. My favorite princess has always been Cinderella so I just had to get in line! When it was almost my turn, I heard one of the workers say that they were going to switch princesses in 15 minutes. I kept hoping they wouldn't switch before it was my turn & I'm so glad I made it in time! I was wearing my Cinderella long-sleeve AND my little hair clip, I was ready to see her! The line was about 30 minutes but it was so worth it, you get three princesses out of it! Loved this addition to the park! read more

I love disney princesses! My sister and i were really tired one day so we decided to check this place out. We grabbed our coffee and churros and sat at the tables and relaxed. I love this place and want to live there! Then we sat in the bleachers and waited for the show to start. They teach how to dance and bow like prince and princess and you get to dance with the princesses. I, being the huge dork that I am, got up and danced with all the kids too. My sister just made fun of me and said i was the only "grown up" there without a kid. hahaha anyway, then we waited for the story telling. Belle came out and read a story. She was so beautiful. We came back another day to take pictures with the princesses, as it was over an hour wait to meet them. This is such a great place to take your little princesses. They will have a ball!! read more

well worth the wait! This past weekend I finally took my granddaughter to meet some princesses. Being a passholder I often go late afternoon or evening. We went early afternoon and the wait was not too bad plus it was a shaded area. We finally got in and my granddaughter was in heaven! she was so excited she got to meet and take pictures with Rapunzel, Cinderella and snow white... they were so kind and took their time talking to her and twirling her to dance and telling secrets. I cannot stress how impressed i was with the princesses and the way they treat the guest. Once we got out we saw brave outside so we got in line for brave as well Was a wonderful adventure for my granddaughter I dont think she will ever forget!!!! Thank you read more

This is a wonderful spot for your little girls who love princesses. The line to see the 3 princesses is long, but the joy on our daughters face was worth it. And the entire wait is covered and shaded. Very nice. Expect 45-90 minutes. There was a princess show at 4 so we lucked out and were able to take both in back to back. What happened was after a couple years on the Disneyland stage, they closed the Snow White mini-musical. They took the facility and set up temporary story telling areas and offered times with princesses. It turned out to be far more popular than Snow White ever was because all the little girls didn't have to guess where their princesses would be, they knew where they'd be. So, they spent mucho bucks and built the permanent Fantasy Faire just off Main Street and the lines are long, but apparently all ages and genders are enjoying it, not just little girls. read more
