I genuinely wanted to continue supporting the salon, but unfortunately, my most recent experience was the final straw. My nail technician was Jean, and when I first started going to her, I was very happy with my services. However, over time, I began noticing several red flags. I would routinely make my appointments two weeks in advance, only to arrive at my scheduled time and still have to wait. I also noticed that Jean would tell me she could do certain nail designs, but once the appointment began, it would become apparent that she could not execute the design as promised. During my most recent visit, I specifically asked Jean beforehand if she could complete a particular design, and she assured me that she could. As the service progressed, I realized that the design was not coming out the way I had requested. I very politely asked her to stop because I was not happy with how it was turning out. Her reaction made me uncomfortable, and it felt as though she was upset with me for simply expressing my concerns. To make matters worse, she had already cut my cuticle during the service. At the end of the appointment, I felt extremely uncomfortable because it seemed like they were rushing me out of the salon. My nails were done on Friday, and they are already chipping. For the price I paid and considering the fact that I have been a loyal customer for almost three years, that is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is also not the first time I have felt that Jean has been aggressive or had an unpleasant attitude toward me. I have overlooked previous incidents because I genuinely wanted to support the salon and maintain a good relationship with my nail technician. However, this experience crossed the line for me, and I will no longer be returning. Another issue is the front desk. The owner, Jessie, also handles the front desk by herself, which frequently results in very long lines just to pay and leave. I understand that running a business can be challenging, but after being a customer for nearly three years, I expected a better overall experience. It honestly saddens me to write this because I have supported this salon for a long time. However, loyalty should be appreciated and met with professionalism, good customer service, and quality work. Unfortunately, that is no longer the experience I am receiving here. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously because I would hate for other long-term customers to have similar experiences.

A few days after our visit, I developed a rash that initially appeared on my right hand. Additional rashes later developed around both ankles and on the top of my left foot. Because the affected areas corresponded with areas involved in my nail services, I was very concerned and felt it was important to bring the situation to the salon's attention. My husband and I returned to the salon to inform them about what had happened. Unfortunately, instead of responding to our concerns with professionalism, compassion, or even an apology for the experience, we felt that the staff became confrontational. They demanded that we provide proof that we had actually received services there. We provided the requested proof. Regardless of what ultimately caused the rash, I expected the salon to take a customer's health and sanitation concerns seriously and respond professionally. The way our concerns were handled was extremely disappointing and made an already upsetting situation worse. Based on this experience, we will not return to this salon. I also intend to report my concerns to the appropriate health/licensing authorities so they can determine whether any sanitation or infection-control issues need to be investigated. She is nice but she does not do a good job at all. I got my nails done last Friday not even a full week ago and they already need to be redone again. The work is sloppy, the polish was not down to the bottom of the nail and she doesn't take her time to do her work. She rushes everytime even if there is no one waiting for her. If everyone did nails like Sandy, they would've got 4 stars but because of this one worker, they won't unfortunately.
