    a plate of food

Definitely a locals place but as vacationers we enjoyed our meal. Deluxe Nachos were OUT Of THIS WORLD good. They don't look like much in the picture, but we all agreed that the nachos were our favorite: cheesy, perfect amount of toppings, & large side of sour cream and salsa to go with it. I also ordered the French onion soup which I raved about as well! The food overall was so delicious and we left full and happy. We sat in the bar area inside, but it looks like they have a great outdoor space. There are lots of options on their menu. I was able to add fried calamari to my salad which is always a favorite of mine. They definitely struggle with service. Our server was not very attentive or friendly. With that being said, the bus boy went above and beyond his duties and filled in for the server. Not only was he clearing and wiping down the tables, he brought us napkins, mustard, takeout containers, offered to refill our waters, WOW he was just great! Another issue we had was that our entrees came out a few minutes after we received our appetizers. Having all the food practically come out at the same time was very disappointing. We hardly had any time to enjoy the appetizers and gobbled it down so that our entrees sitting on the table wouldn't get cold.

My family loves Faregrounds Pub and I believe there must be a new chef since the menu is healthier than in the past. I always order the Fresh Berry Salad which comes with a delicious pink vinaigrette dressing. There is no longer a salad bar due to COVID but the side salads are still great.

    Wings were delicious!!!

We have been here twice and love it. The nachos are amazing. If you want a locals pub with good food, this is the place.

Well where can I start? Overpriced, mediocre food and very bad service, oh and there was a pubic hair in the salmon.

This is in stark contrast to every other restaurant we've to in Nantucket, which have been small with tables packed pretty close together. Even with sports on the tv and people at the bar, you can talk at a reasonable volume here and not overhear everyone else's conversations. The shishito peppers were nice, fish and chips exactly what you'd hope for, and Guinness is on tap, which I can never resist. Lobster mac and cheese left something to be desired on the cheese front, but the lobster was nice and tender. And the service is always friendly. This is not a place that will blow anyone's mind, but I have never had a bad dish here. Still my favorite place for dinner on Nantucket.

Restaurant just a few mins from ferry docks. Friendly welcoming staff. Our waiter n bar tender were so helpful. Unlike other restaurants in Nantucket this is bigger spacious restaurant .Nicely decorated interior. We tried the brunch menu. So many options n was hard to choose. But we settled on lobster Reuben n Korean chicken Sammie. Omg that lobster Reuben was to die for. Generous portions of lobster n every bite/ morsel was delicious. And the fries that came with it was so good . The Korean chicken Sammy too was good n spicy. We just polished off our plates. Not a morsel left. And then walked away to burn the calories. Tx god for that. What a great brunch/ lunch it was. Thank you the Charlie noble. Wi certainly may come back if we r in the area.

We got there fairly early but the first band had already started, and the area under the tent was already full. We got some drinks, checked out the space and eventually we were able to snag some chairs under the tent. The outside beer area had alcohol drinks as well. 2 of us had tequila drinks, and 2 tried the beers. We were all really happy with our choices. All of the food there came from food trucks, and there were a lot of random vendors, which made it a fun, unique experience! All of our food and drinks were great. I also bought a few hats- the hat selection was really good from the band and the brewery. They also had a shop along with the other vendors who were set up. We stayed longer than expected- the first band (Grateful Dead cover band) was amazing, so we stayed to check out the second band (who were really good also). We eventually gave up our seats under the tent to some very happy people! We will definitely go back to the Cisco brewery the next time we're in Nantucket- it was a great experience all around! Everyone we encountered- whether they worked there, or weee there for fun were very nice and friendly. There was a dance area in front of the stage and people definitely used it - so there was great people watching in a super fun setting!

We made a reservation will in advance and of course you have to make it around the sunset. We thought the food was well worth the price for a nicer dinner and we had the best view of the beach. From an appetizer, entree and dessert we had zero complaints and dream of going back one day. The views are also the cherry on top! Their menu does change but from what I remember we had the lobster deviled eggs, crab cake, a tuna dish, lobster gnocchi, some shrimp pasta dish and a molten cake!

The service was impeccable. There was always a waiter within earshot. He kept our waters fully all times. I started off with a stuffed eggplant with apricots, currents and yogurt. It was devine. I wish they would share the recipe. For a main course, I had a grilled veal chop over a bed of warm wild rice and mushrooms. I had it cooked medium rare. I would give it six stars but I am only allowed five. I would definitely return if I ever had the opportunity. A definite must if ever visiting the island.
