Dr Seif is amazing. He is funny and friendly. Very knowledgeable in his field and has a great staff. All my visits went above and beyond my expectations and got amazing results. My last visit I was dealing with a lot of gum pain and sensitivity due to the fact that I was being lazy with my cleanings, however after my visit my teeth not only look amazing and clean my gums are already calming down. I also got my wisdom teeth taken out by him years ago and although I had some complications due to my anatomy it went amazingly smooth and the healing process was easy. read more

Dr. Seif is hands down awesome. I've never had a more caring, trustworthy, and non-judgmental dentist. He makes you feel completely at ease and explains the procedures every step of the way. I have always felt comfortable in his care. Can't forget to mention the staff. All of his assistants have been great. By name, Brenda is a joy to interact with - so sweet and cheerful. She is truly the epitome of what every dental assistant should be. Beautifully remodeled office. Super clean, with state of the art appliances / digital x-ray. They have appointments available on Saturdays and late evenings, which is such a blessing for someone with a busy schedule. I can't recommend a better Dentist. I was seen by two dentist over a 4 week pd. for pain in one of my teeth. Both dentist stated that they could not find anything wrong. Its a legitimate review from a legitimate patient of Dr. Seif, and would be helpful to anyone who may be considering becoming a new patient. Why on Earth would it be "Not currently recommended"?? I am even happier with this dental office now than I was a year ago-Dr. Seif is a kind and gentle dentist and I hold him in high regard which is more than I can say for Yelp. 8/15/13 I recently found myself in need of a dentist quickly for a tooth removal and began an endless internet search of dentists that were open late in the evening. After several phone calls with rude receptionists I was ready to give up. At 6:30 in the evening I came across a listing for Dr. Seif. ( pronounced Safe) His receptionist, Brenda was so kind and helpful I made an appointment immediately. I was pretty apprehensive as it was my first extraction and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Seif was so gentle and quick I truly felt no pain during the extraction. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and I felt so at ease that the experience was actually pleasant. His entire staff is great and I felt at home in his office, so much in fact that I have already brought my son in to see him since my first visit less then a week ago. The staff is really rude here and they hardly ever answer the phone. The receptionist Isabel was the worst. They also have a long wait. The doctor tried to be funny but he was just annoying more than anything. Also, $300 for sedation is too costly. read more

I have not treated with Dr. Seif since 2004. This was before he had his own office but was on staff at another dental office. He was one of the kindest, most compassionate dentists I ever met, took every precaution and was generally all around excellent. I am still wearing two crowns he made for me in 2004 with no problem. I would go to him again in a heartbeat if he were closer to where I live. read more

No one ever likes to go to the dentist for whatever reason but if you need to see a dentist, YOU MUST GO HERE! Friendly staff and Dr. Seif is the kindest dentist there could ever exist. Very professional. I first went there because I needed some extractions. I've put so much work into my mouth to make it as flawless as possible and since I had a great first experience with Dr. Seif, I decided to go back. Since then, I've replaced two crowns, got my teeth whitened, and I am in the process to re-do my fillings. I am so glad I found a dentist like him! read more

I have been treated by Farhad Seif at the Safe Dental Care facility for about a year now and I can't begin to tell you how great his practice is. I moved to Oxnard from Las Vegas and had dealt with other dentists and they obviously didn't do their job right. I still had pain and wasn't happy with the way my smile was. When I got my root canal done and my filling re-placed, they left my tooth with grey around the outside near my gums and Dr. Seif fixed that along with other things.I hardly ever feel any pain during the process and love the fact that he takes his time and explains things to me clearly to understand what is being done and what to do to prevent future issues. Also, he gives me options on what I can have done. The staff there is amazing. They are very clear when discussing insurance and out of pocket pricing. They take their time to discuss with you options of pricing with what work you want done to your teeth. I know I had issues with that before. I had receive a bill that I was not aware of and also a smile that I was not happy with. My smile now is looking sooooo much nicer and I couldn't recommend this dental office more! Trully the best dentist I have ever worked with. I also took my daughter to him. He is great with kids and makes them feel comfortable, My daughter is not "afraid" of going to the dentist anymore.
