Yes, the sit-down portion of the place isn't luxurious and the cash only policy and opening at 4 makes you jump through hoops, but, in the end, it's all about the pizza and it's great here. Best Pizza you will ever have.........Huge Farinacci Pizza fan and I have been too them both.

Ordered three to four times now and each time has been great. Plus, the owner or manager that's usually there seems like a great guy. It's nice supporting a local business operated by decent people. Farinacci took second place in the PD "pizza playoffs" last year. While it's hard to rank the many great shops around NEO, I certainly can't find any fault with this 2nd place finish. Terrible! Pizza was undercooked - we asked for it well done. Very cheap cheese. Uncooked onions. Truly the worst pizza I've ever had from a pizza place. The pizza is ok to good. The salad is not so good. I would describe it as bland. The ambience was terrible, even for a neighborhood, old school pizza parlor. The service was above average. They were friendly and helpful. The selection of beer and wine was not good at all. There was not a single beer or wine on the menu that I would drink. Overall, I would probably return for the pizza and the service..... But..... There is a deal breaker for me. Cash only. Nope. I want to like this place. I really really really do because there really are not any good pizza places in Hudson. But it's bad on so many levels. I guess I'm use to living on campus at OSU, living in NY or even living in Cleveland Heights so maybe my standards are too high. We moved to Hudson 13 years ago and went here twice back then. Swore I would never be back. Tonight every place in Hudson had over an hour wait so as a last pick I thought let's give this place another shot after a 10 year hiatus. We should have order a pizza from a chain like Pizza Hut and went home and ate. Started off with slow service where it took a while to be greeted. I worked in restaurants when I was young at high end restaurants so I guess this is a pet peeve of mine you have to greet a table within five minutes even if it's a pizza joint. Their choice in sizes is small, large and family. We got a large pizza for two but it turns out it's the worlds smallest large pizza. I'm guessing but I'll say it was 12". The pizza was very generic!! Tastes like a frozen pizza I could get at home. Nothing special at all. I see lots of good reviews on here but everyone must be comparing this place to crappy chains like Dominoes, Dinnatos, Pizza Hut or Papa John's. Then when leaving I find out they don't take credit cards. SERIOUSLY???? I mean if the pizza was good I guess I would go out of my way to go to an ATM and bring cash but for a very mediocre pizza at best not excepting credit cards is unacceptable. For a town that has so many restaurants with over an hour wait it explains why half the tables in this establishment were empty. I absolutely never carry cash and I had to borrow money from my son to pay for dinner. The people are very friendly and that is one very nice thing about this place. I assume the guy who owns the place is the guy working the cash register standing in the pizza area named Dave. he seemed nice enough. Another negative is that they close really early like 9 o'clock. 930 on a Friday night. So they can't even get local young people to hang out. I moved to Hudson a year ago and was less than thrilled with the pizza choices here. At the end of the school year, my fifth grader went to Farinacci's pizza for an end-of-year school party and came home raving about their cheese pizza and how good it is. Now mind you, this is a kid who does not like plain cheese pizza (it's pepperoni or nothing), so we had to give it a try to see what all the fuss was about. On Friday night (pizza night in our house) we ordered our first Farinacci's pizza and it was delicious! Everything about this pizza is good, the dough/crust, the sauce, the cheese, the toppings... everything. We NEVER have leftovers and if we do have one slice, there is a fight in the morning over who gets it! As long as you don't change a thing, we won't go anywhere else and this will remain our Friday night fare in our house! Love it!! read more

The good; you can get a family size pizza (like a small sheet) cheap. The bad; the pizza is a bit soggy/doughy uneven dough, and bland sauce. I like the crust and style of sausage they use, but the pizza is extremely greasy. The cheese falls off too. Not in my top 5 pizza list. Pizza tasted better the next day. read more

Love this pizza! Thin crust, tasty sauce, really good. The best in the area in my opinion - the closest to authentic east coast pizza. The sizes do run really small here though .... A large looks like a medium, but their 'Family Size' is a 12 piece, true large size pizza and it's about $12.00. They only accept cash too - just FYI. I guess it's to keep prices down. We just moved to the area and were very disappointed in every other pizza place we tried. Farinaccis is the best tasting pizza in the area with high quality ingredients. Also, if you add on an ingredient, they put a lot on instead of just a few. We did not dine in, we got take out. read more

I dislike most pizza around here. The sauce is usually too sweet and the quality poor. I actually like Farinacci's. Having had NY pizza & it being my favorite, this is as close as it gets around here. I didn't give 5 stars because its not the best pizza I've ever had and also this is a cash only place. This can be inconvenient at times. However, we couldn't scrape together enough money to pay cash once when we forgot to visit the ATM ahead of time & the owner said "Just pay us next time". Looking for great pizza and great people?? Go to Farinacci's in Hudson! My daughter and I were blessed to find this excellent restaurant on a recent visit to Ohio. The pizza was sooo good. You can tell it is made with the freshest of ingredients. We found out that each pie's crust is hand formed with love using homemade dough. The sauce has that perfect blend of Italian seasonings that shout "this is the way pizza is supposed to taste!" All the staff there were so friendly and the owner is a very unique gifted individual whom you should try and have a conversation with, if he has time. You won't be sorry! read more

Farinacci Pizza is a very good pizza place, with a new, second location in Hudson's First and Main. It is located in the back of the Actors Summit building facing the library. From the outside it looks like you're walking into a warehouse. Inside, there is an open kitchen with a counter for carry out and a small dining area with about 10 tables. I did carry out when I tried Farinacci's. The dining area looks like it's lacking atmosphere. The pizza selection is somewhat limited, you won't find any specialty gourmet pizzas here, much to my discern. You can get single or double ingredient pizzas, as well as a deluxe pizza with almost everything on it. I ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni, as well as a house salad. The sauce was wonderful. They really know how to make a pizza there. It was an excellent pizza. The sausage and pepperoni were perfect together, both being somewhat spicy, which perfectly complemented the tomato sauce. The crust wasn't half bad either. The salad was good, but nothing special. The dressing was very good, but it was just lettuce with a few tomatoes and a couple of other scant veggies. Overall, Farinacci is a very good pizza place that provides competition to the many pizza places in Hudson (believe me, there are too many). But carry-out, as the restaurant itself lacks atmosphere. read more

I can tell you that I was very disappointed in this Branch of Farinacci. I have been a loyal customer of the Northfield one for many many years, and when this one opened it was just a great at that one. but things changed about a year ago. WHen I ordered there I got, undercooked pizza, not just once but many times. Twice I ordered there and got the wrong pizza. had to wait for a new one to be made. This pizza place is NOT what it used to be! I will travel out of my way, to the northfield one, or maybe give the NEW one in Cuyahoga Falls a try before I ever go back to Hudsons. read more

Admittedly my family and I eat way too much pizza from the Hudson's Farinacci Pizza restaurant. Easy to give it a 5-star rating. We've sampled everywhere else and repeatedly come back for more. The family-sized pizza feeds the 4 of us, including two growing kids. Everything is fresh and made to order, per each order. The double salad feeds 3 of us. Their home made salad dressing is mild...just the right amount of oil and seasonings. Here's the best part, it costs less than $20.00 to feed a family of 4! Don't forget to bring cash or check (just like Akron's Luigi's and the Diamond Grill). read more

We get farinacci pizza about once a week, that's how good it is. Not only is the pizza consistently delicious every time, the owner Dave and staff are so friendly and personable. The best!!! We used to go to the Northfield Farinacci's but the first time we went to Hudson was on a Monday because Northfield is closed on Monday. Now we go to Hudson anytime we get a chance. We have been there many times since they opened and the pizza just keeps getting better. We get 2 small pizzas (Husband likes anchovies and I won't let them near my pizza). That 1st bite with the gooey cheese is like heaven. Everyone is so nice it is a pleasure to make the trip. read more

There is no better pizza in the area than Farinaccis. We go there at least once a week and Dave is always personable and knows all his regulars by name. His staff is mostly young adults and is very well trained and respectful. Rare to see these days. The pizza is reasonably priced and very consistent. I recommend a family size pizza with sausage and a double salad with cheese. Mmmmmm!!! read more
