When in Italy, I started catching on that my favorite affordable eats spots were bakeries. Highly recommend this bakery for their incredible pizza in Venice. My husband and I ordered 4 flavors (2 each) but we should've just shared 3 instead. Order and pay at the counter, find a seat, and watch for your order to be done. Loved the wine options. The small space fills up quickly but we were lucky to find a spot for 2 by the window. It was a great spot to people watch the street outside as well. After, walk a few blocks/steps to Suso for gelato/dessert!
Not bad! I liked Farini for quick bites in town! The lines are usually not too long. And you can grab and go easily if you'd like. Don't have to sit around and wait. The pizza or lasagna is done in a couple minutes and you are good to go! The pizza is decent. It's not spectacular, but it's fine. It isn't bad pizza either. This was our go to for quick food when we didn't wanna do a formal restaurant.
Finding pizza by the slice is harder than it looks on TikTok! My wife and I had looked everywhere for some good, quick pizza to eat while we walked around the city and stumbled across this excellent place. Right on the beaten path, excellent atmosphere, service and food. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite. The zucchini pizza was incredible!
We were starving and wanted something quick and easy so we figured pizza it is! Not to many places to sit because it was pretty packed, but we were lucky to find a long table towards the back of the room and we could people watch while we ate. The pizza was good, but not to impressed with how it looked. It looked like they basically cut long slices of the zucchini and laid it on the dough and threw it into the oven to cook. Pretty lazy to me, but I have to admit, it tasted good or maybe because I was starving. The restroom was a hot mess. I had to tell one of the workers that it needed to be clean. It was VERY disgusting.
We had to try this even though we were not hungry. 4.50 euros for a slice and I prefer this pizza than all other restaurants we've tried in Florence and Venice. The dough is airy and the bacon are cut big! A budget friendly place!
At the corner of Calle de la fava this standing room only pizzeria is just what you are looking for after the train ride and boat taxi. The pizza is fresh Roman style with a crispy bottom and fluffy airy internal structure. The slightly burnt note adds to the authenticity of the flavor profile. An aperol and vodka lemon spritz were nice accouterments. Bellisima!
Solid place for breakfast. Delicious pastries and savory options too. Great service and lots of ambiance. Wished we'd made it back for pizza- next time!
Just standard cafe in Italy. Nothing special compared to the other places. Your downstair ones could be better. Tried coffee and 3 croissant flavors. Coffee's standard and croissant's too sweet. Also everything is cold because it's popular and they made a lot in advance. Not worthy to come here if you are far away. Had some seats indoor but maybe difficult to find when it's busy
We really enjoyed their zucchini pizzas! Their meat pizzas were okay, I would probably skip those and go for veggie options.
Solid place for pizza by the slice and basic sandwiches. They're on a busy plaza corner so expect them to be crowded. There's lots of indoor seating but it fills fast, especially because there is no outdoor seating. A single slice costs €4 as of October 2023. That slice is about 1/4 of a pizza and will be cut into three slices. They're really pretty good pizzas and a value for being so cheap. Staff is friendly and does speak English.
Cute cafe that has lots of variety for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks!! Located close to St. Mark's Square which makes it easier to navigate to (you know how Venice roads can be tricky). Breakfast they provide pastries, lasagna, various types of coffee (cappuccino my fav), and breakfast sandwiches. For lunch/dinner/snack, they have pasta, lasagna, pizza, and salads! It is affordable and quick! Be aware that it can get busy in the morning, but the line moves fast. Need to show green pass to dine in!
Farini is a solid spot to grab a quick and delicious bite while on your way through Venice. I wound up coming back three separate times. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to try as much of their menu as possible! My favorite item is the Crudo Prosciutto & Sott'olio Focaccia, which seems to sell out pretty quickly since I was only able to get it on one occasion. They also have a nice Cotto & Bufala Focaccia and several types of fresh croissants with either creme or fruit that are out of this world. If I lived in Venice, I would probably be here every day.
I believe Farini is a chain in Venice. It serves slices of pizza, salads and other similar fare. My friend and I had happened upon Farini and their gorgeous windows (full of pizza, of course) as we were exploring Venice before a cruise. When we returned following our cruise, we knew we had to find Farini again and try some pizza! If you are looking for a quick bite of fun and flavorful pizza, Farini fits the bill. It was busy when we visited but waits moved quickly. The pizzas were fresh and enjoyable and the seating area was clean and comfortable. Nice establishment with great pastries and coffee. If you order hot chocolate be aware that it's not what other Europeans or Americans call hot chocolate. It is a very thick pudding. Tasty but hardly drinkable as some in our group quickly learned. They also had savory dishes like pizza that looked amazing. Would return to. read more
This place has it all, very clean and minimal menu. Good vibes inside. Lots of selection and made available. Quick service. Coffee, pastry, alcohol as well. The pizza itself wasn't fantastic but a fantastic choice I'd you want to stop for a quick snack. read more

Awesome pizza shop/bakery. You won't walk by the display of pizzas without stopping and looking. The pizza itself did not disappoint. Order by the slice and they reheat it for you. Fast and easy service but still very good quality. The workers are all friendly as well read more
Farini - how can bread taste so good? How can cheese be so delicious? My husband and I loved the quality, price and convenience of Farini so much that we stopped by other locations as well. This is mostly a get it and go kind of place with limited standing room. The beverages - soda - is relatively expensive; however the breads, pizzas, and baked goods are worth the cost (and very reasonable compared to other places). We ordered the 4 cheese, zucchini, and ham and cheese breads - all outstanding. They heat them up as soon as you order and can slice into shareable pieces for you and friends to enjoy. You can also view the pizza / bread making while you eat your snack. While I wouldn't make an entire dinner of this, this is a great brunch or snack spot that you can grab and go with a smile on your face! read more

One of the best places I had pizza in Italy. I tried their charcoal pizza (it has black dough) that was really cool. Their crusts are delicious and baked perfectly. The cheese - out of this world! They charge by slice. Check them out. You won't regret it. read more

Visited On: May 19, 2019 Ordered: -2x Cappuccino (€2.24) -1x Chocolate Croissant (€1.60) -1x Pistachio Croissant (€1.60) Thoughts: We had to leave Venice quite early and Farini was the only open place in the area. We arrived just before 7AM, when they open and there were already a few people lined up outside. The inside is nice and cozy with plenty of seats. I'm not a coffee/tea drinker, so I didn't think the cappuccino was anything special. I only tried it as I was in Italy and it's one of those things you can't skip on. The croissants were very flaky, rich, decadent and simply amazing. My favorite was the chocolate, it was dusted with cocoa powder on top and the inside was oozing with chocolate. read more

I got the Margherita pizza and it was okay. It wasn't really cheesy and it didn't have a lot of sauce. There was a lot of dough though. The service was alright as well. If you want something quick, just come here. read more

Awesome find and great place to get a snack or quick lunch/dinner while roaming around venice. Variety of pizzas by the slice and pastas, with cafe beverages and wine to order on hand. There is some seating along the window to people watch and long high tables with bar stools. Your ordering at the counter, they will reheat the pizza and slice it into 4. When we came the pizza was freshly made and they refill as they sell out of a particular flavor. We tried this one with a black crust, cheese, and tomato(Yum! fav), ham with mushroom(yum no red sauce though so it's a white pizza), spinach and tomatoes white pizza(still good), 4 cheese(my friend didn't realize it didn't have tomato sauce) - your basically eating bread with melted cheese, it's still good but we just ordered to many white pizzas needed the flavor of tomato sauce. The slices are big enough to share or for your meal (personal size). Although they reheat since its displayed on the counter, you still have that crisp crust gooey cheese. Definitely recommend for quick bite! read more

This place was awesome! When showing us to the apartment my friend and I were staying at, our host mentioned that this was a brand new spot in town that she was a huge fan of. Seeing as it was just a few minutes from our apartment, we went in for some coffee and pastries a few days into our visit and fell in love! The coffees are served in very aesthetic shot glass sized cups with beauty designs on top and with a variety of toppings and all tasted so delicious. Halfway through our drinks, we were already making plans for when to come back-- finding ways to fit more visits to Farini into our itinerary for the rest of our trip. The breads were not bad either but I would skip those and just go for the coffees here though. read more

This was a rare example of NOT using Yelp to find an excellent restaurant in a foreign country. I was walking by heading to the same awesome place I found on Yelp last night when I saw them in the window. . . So many delicious looking pizzas just sitting there calling to me. This pizza is uncommonly great. It has a thick crust with real toppings that give it it a 3D texture. The taste is rich and delicious. I was shocked that I felt full with just a single €3.80 slice (I can down an entire medium size thin crust garbage American chain pizza in a single serving). Please come here and share in my enjoyment. :-) read more

We walked into Farini during a busy touristy day in Venice, and we were looking for a cafe to have some coffee and sandwiches, and this place was perfect! Once we got over the initial language communication barrier, we knew exactly what to order. My wife and I both got variants of a spinach and ham sandwich, along with cappuccinos. The food is tasty, the location is nice, the service is decent, and the price is moderate. We also managed to find a spot near the window to have our Venetian experience enhanced. ;-) read more

We were trying to go to another breakfast place but it was closed on Sunday. We came here instead since it's not too far and a lot of people. I had Macchiatone, Cannole and tiramisu. They were all pretty good, cannole(forgive me if I spelled that wrong) was on the sweeter side which could be good with coffee but I had hubby finish it because it's just too sweet for my taste. He had the expresso and this ham/cheese croissant sandwich and it was pretty good. We left still hungry cuz they are all on the small side but gave me an excuse to try other place I guess! :D food were all good and only €11.40, the most expensive item was the tiramisu for €4. Not a bad deal for the area. read more

The pizza. Amazing. The pastry. Amazing. Wow. Prices for the mini sodas were a bit much and the slices of pizza were hearty enough to feel good about 3.80 euro. The crust... Yep. Go there. I will be back. They have some other dishes that are non pizza I would like to try. 6 stars so far. read more
So we were slightly obsessed with this place. Their desserts and caffeinated beverages were so good. It was the perfect place to get a quick break and fuel up in between all the walking and exploring we did through the little streets of Venezia! It was convenient for a break because most places like this either required waiter service or didn't have air conditioned seating. There are two locations listed on Yelp but honestly not sure which one is which but I'm sure they're both amazing. They also have sandwiches and pizza but we stuck to dessert when we would visit. read more

You have to pay really close attention to find this place as it blends in. They speak a little English so ordering wasn't too hard for us. The prices are pretty affordable for where you are. We got 2 pieces of pizza and 2 spritz( alcoholic drinks) for 18 euros and we were full for hours! They have other options besides pizza as well. I took a couple stars off because the service wasn't great. Once they put our pizza in the warming oven they forgot about us even though I was standing at the counter waiting. They served a lot of other people before us and then when they saw me waiting still, they remembered. There is some indoor seating available. Would recommend this for lunch! read more

During our Italy trip we were craving pizza, so we went here because of the high ratings, though I'm pretty sure we would've found our way here anyways since it smelled so good inside. The speck and mozzarella pizza was delicious. It's more of a big slab of foccaccia bread with toppings, but the crust was light, airy, and had a little crisp on the outside. And the speck was so good, like bacon but better. If you love great fresh baked bread and pizza, definitely go here. read more

Don't miss this quick stop for great breads and pizza in Venice. The bread is near perfection and as soon as you dig into a slice of their various pizzas, you'll be back for more. Try a bunch and then a cappuccino and off you go! read more
We actually frequented this place way too many times, but mostly out of convenience. They have a coffee/espresso/alcohol/dessert station as well as a bread/pizza/trattoria station. We had a cappuccino and espresso here. You won't get the coffee art for your Instagram, but you will get really great beverages for reasonable prices. Their wine and spritz were more expensive than most other locations. You will pay about 4 euros here and can find the same drinks at other places for about 2.5 euros. read more

We stopped at Farini for breakfast before leaving Venice. I was surprised to see a line up before it even opened & waited ~10 mins. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and a pistachio & chocolate croissant.
