Went this afternoon 630-ish was hoping for upstairs open air eating and drinking but found that is only Thursday through Sunday. Luis and I got seated in corner table had a side view of main dining. Order two THC infused drinks the Orange version. It was wonderful then order Challah with all spreads and that was incredible. Main course both fish , Lake Trout and Salmon both had different beds Luis was a risotto and mine a spice cream salad could have had less green olives but that all I would change. They were both '10's. Amazing flavors and the plates were artwork to view. We ended with their cherry sundae. That was delicious too. All food was fresh as Much as possible locally sourced. Price range 29-33 main the drinks, appetizers and dessert brought is a bit past 125 but well made, presented and worth it

Farm Bar is legit! Both times I've been - for brunch and dinner - I was able to snag seats at the bar. I love sitting at the bar because you always get great service! Most recently when I went, the bartender was often distracted or just so busy we didn't get a lot of attention, but we got what we needed so it was fine, just nothing special. Their mac n cheese was for sure the highlight of the meal. It's gooey and delish, and love the crispy cheese on top! It's got a peppery kick, too!

Amazingly consistent. I've been a fan of Farm Bar since it opened up years ago in Chicago. A restaurant specializing in Farm-to-Table style and you can really taste the freshness in their ingredients. Came in with a pretty big appetite so got two apps: Beet Salad and, of course, their phenomenal Wisconsin Cheese Curds. Both of them hit but I just have to say something extra about these cheese curds. I've had a lot of fried cheese curds in Chicago and they all just tasted and even looked like mozzarella bits. A big disappointment. But these are so different. They are unique in flavor and the tempura batter is just right. They are definitely a head above the rest. These right here are the gold standard of cheese curds in my book. The beet salad was incredibly refreshing accompanied by a yogurt sauce and pepita seeds which gave it a great added texture and flavor. For my main I decided on their fan favorite Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and after the first bite I knew exactly why it was a fan favorite. A generous portion of breaded chicken breast fried to a perfect crisp! I'm so glad this place exists! Farm Bar I definitely a favorite of mine. Amazing fresh food served with great service...10/10

Although the rooftop seating was not available, we got a window seat which made for good natural lighting for food pics! The Dutch Baby was new for me! Luckily I stole a bite from my friend. I enjoyed the chicken n biscuits! I really love the patterns and colors of the drinking glasses and plates. The coffee was perfect... I really needed that morning pick me up. Our server was great!

This place is great. They always have super fresh and great dishes, and the cocktails are on point. The owner always seems to be around and is very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is dark and romantic, and I love that you can pretty much always find a spot even on weekends. Their version of Cacio e Pepe is delicious. I also really like their beets. Sitting at the bar was a fun experience and let us check out the whole space. My girlfriend had the Michigan burger with goat cheese and sour cherry jam. She really liked it! We'll be back.

Loved everything about this spot! Decor was cool.. my husband had way too much fun with the tractors on the bar! Service was super friendly, especially the bartender Will, who gave us excellent suggestions on both food and drinks. For drinks we tried the brown dog old fashioned, garden of eden, the Phoenix, and sweet chai-ld of mine. My favorite was the Phoenix, but all of them were well- balanced and delicious! For food we ordered the mushroom bruschetta, salmon, and pork chop. All were excellent, but the standout was the mushroom toast... we would return for that alone! We had their new JohnnyMac cider to pair with the pork chop and highly recommend the combo. The cider is nice and dry and goes very well with the savoriness of the pork. For dessert we tried the s'mores bread pudding and butterscotch budino, which made a great end to a great meal!

Came here for a random, casual Sunday brunch and sat at the bar. Sat down and first ordered cocktails with a side of cheese curds. The cocktails were delicious and so were the curds. After a few more cocktails, From the brunch menu, we ordered the burger and chicken and biscuits.... The gravy was amazing! The bartender was attentive.

what a cute festive brunch spot! I met up with a couple of friends and I was greeted by Mrs. Clause who have been going around the tables to talk to the kids. The food potion was big, prices were reasonable but the food was on the saltier side. There's plenty of street parking around the area!

Lunched here, with wife and daughter, for the first time. Farm Bar - Ravenswood is a svelte, metropolitan bar/eatery with a comfortable, yet somewhat upscale vibe, an attractive bar area and an extremely appealing rooftop dining balcony. Service was welcoming and efficient. The menu and drink options were focused and well suited to the farm to table theme. I had a chicken Caesar wrap with side salad (very good) and my daughter had the signature chicken and biscuits with gravy. Sumptuous and much more than she could eat! Prices are at the high end of the median range, but quality is quite high. Farm Bar - Ravenswood is highly recommended!

    Huevos rancheros Skillet

Service was friendly and ambiance was modern and nice. I got the huevos rancheros skillet which was okay. My main complaint was how hot it was temperature-wise. Everyone at my table was done eating by the time my food was cool enough to eat. I guess it's probably because of the skillet itself. Next time, I'd order the French toast. A friend got it and it looked delicious!

Great food and experience. It was a busy Saturday night, nonetheless it didn't feel like it was helpful to have reservations because we waited 15 minutes before an open table. Nice neighborhood feel, and delicious food. The French kitchen provided for a nice open setting while watching the cooks orchestrate the orders. At least not on this busy night, it's not an intimate setting as they pack the room. Staff were all in sync, and professional and courteous. No surprise their cheese curds are a number one seller, as they were indeed delicious. Less naughty, their number two for appetizers are the carrots, which look amazing, as do all their appetizers. The mushroom entree was really deliciously layered and my wife was thoroughly happy with her farmers steak, both beautifully presented. All the desserts look inviting, however we chose a newer addition, honey and black walnut ice cream. It was a winner, made with no stranger to their menu, Wisconsin BDF honey. Outside of the appetizers, there is only one option for vegetarians on their dinner table, but everything is delicious.

Had one of the best dinners in a while here!! A million thanks to our server Jenny! She recommended the potatoes and Kansas City strip. Words cannot describe how incredible they were!! We also got the cucumber salad and roasted carrots. Both amazing! We ordered a bottle of red wine that paired lovely with the meal! Place was busy but one was able to still have table conversation! Service was fast!

The food is generally solid, and usually the service is pretty good. But today??? Holy crap, the service was awful. It was not busy at all (I came in around 3:45 in the afternoon). Stood for about 5 minutes waiting to be seated, despite two employees being within 10 feet. I finally was seated, and I ordered a Diet Coke which came promptly, then waited at least 15-20 minutes for someone to take my order. My waitress (short, dark hair in a bun) just stood around chatting with other employees, wandering around, etc. I think I was the only customer in the dining room, but they just completely ignored me. I finally walked up to the bar and asked to pay for my diet Coke, as I had no intention of waiting around forever to order food. I probably could have just walked out without paying without them even noticing, given how inattentive the employees were, but I'm too honest to do that. I really hope this was just a one-off and that the service overall hasn't gone downhill consistently over the last 6 months or so. But I was super disappointed at how bad the service sucked today, given that there were about 7 times as many employees as there were customers when I went. I'm giving 2 stars in recognition of previous good experiences I've had here, but today's experience....ooof. Do better, Rockwell's.

My son and his girlfriend have been there many times, and insisted we get the whipped ricotta appetizer and kale salad. Both of these items were top notch, as were the cocktails and we enjoyed. The pasta bolognese that the ladies ordered was delicious. My son had the burger and fries, and it was fine, just not very special. I ordered the "half" chicken, thinking as a bird themed restaurant, the only poultry entree would be a star, but that was not the case. A small thigh and half of a breast was their interpretation of a half chicken, and this was noted on the menu, but the portion was disappointing. The dish was supposed to to be accompanied by polenta with trumpet mushrooms, but two paltry slices of mushroom with a small smear of polenta completed the dish which "artfully" only occupied the left half of the plate, leaving the rest of the plate bare. Small portions aside, the dish was overly salty, to the point I had dry mouth the rest of the night, and the chicken was overcooked. The taste was fine, and the little bit of polenta added enough moisture to make the dish work. The worst thing was the incredibly dull dinner knife that couldn't cut through the mushroom, let alone the chicken, causing me to apply the stab and pull/tear method to get bite sized pieces. Everything thing else was superb. I would go back for the cocktails and appetizers, perhaps grazing the appetizers and a salad as a dinner. The pastas all looked terrific, but I will probably steer clear of the four mains on the menu, as they seem to be the least inspired items to order.

This was a great, cozy spot to try a different take on Filipino food. Being a Filipina myself, I'm…read moretorn between labeling it because I feel like some of the dishes are more Filipino-inspired while others are definitely elevated-Filipino. Either way, it's a good place to try a twist on your favorites or dip into something new. I especially appreciated that there were a lot of vegetarian options which is hard to find in Filipino food, like our "veggie" lumpia usually has small bits of meat in it, lol. We were warmly welcomed, seated relatively quickly, and the service was attentive and timely. The place is cozy and on the dark side so my pics aren't the greatest. We had the Inihaw ng Talong which is basically grilled eggplant that came brushed with sunflower butter, loaded with tomatoes and garnished with cilantro. This was a nice start but a small one. The eggplant was smoky and creamy and complimented by the bright tomatoes. The Satti Manok, skewered grilled chicken, with cornbread sticky rice was good, but I've definitely had better for a lot less. This is usually a staple you'll find at any Filipino family's BBQ but the cornbread sticky rice was a surprisingly nice treat. If you've had this before, somewhere else, I'd skip it to try something else. The Sinigang Caesar was such a nice twist that totally made sense! My only complaint is that it was served with Bibb lettuce instead of a crunchy romaine. I enjoyed this so much I've been making my Caesar dressings with a sprinkling of Sinigang powder now and my family loves it. The Kare Kare gulay was nice and I enjoyed it. The charred cabbage gave it some extra depth that I think is needed to pull this off because this sauce is made with sunflower butter instead of peanut butter. This was great for me because I'm allergic to peanuts but it definitely changes the flavor, making it a little sweeter and lighter. I wish they would've made this with cashew or almond butter to keep it closer to the rich, deep flavors of a Kare Kare. The Maitake mushrooms -- I absolutely loved. I've never had this before and it reminded me of a good Laing which is also made with a spiced coconut sauce. I definitely could've eaten this all to myself with the garlic rice. Yes, the garlic rice is good but I was surprised to see it go for $6 a bowl. Rice is usually so cheap, if not complementary in Filipino restaurants and garlic rice is quite common, especially for breakfast (yes, I sabreakfast). It was cooked perfectly though. The mango float was delicious. Not sure why it's called a float but it was mango and mascarpone ice cream nestled in a mango sauce and topped with a delicate, crumbly butter cookie. I will definitely come back for more if I'm ever in the area again. I'd be excited to try other things on their menu.

To start, we ordered some lumpia's ($6) which I feel like is a must at a Filipino restaurant. They were delicious and a good way to start the meal. We ordered the Sizzling Sisig ($18) and Tortang Talong ($28) as our entrees. We got a bowl of garlic fried rice which is an extra dollar instead of regular white rice. We were surprised that the Sisig was a little sweet. We were hoping it would taste a little more savory. For the garlic fried rice, we also wanted it be more garlicky. We didn't really taste much garlic. For the Tortang Talong, we didn't know what to expect but we didn't care too much for it. It's a unique dish but we thought that it was on the sweeter end than savory. For the dessert, we ordered the mango float ($11) which we loved. It was a great way to end the night. The syrup was delicious and had a good mix of the crunch with the biscoff and softness of the ice cream. Overall, we were glad we tried it, but it wouldn't be my go to for Filipino food.
