My favorite coffee shop, it's so cute. I love the blueberry pie coffee; it's seriously so good and high quality. The vegan banana is amazingggg. I've been here more than five times already.

Such a quaint shop, which upon first glance seems to be a store with a bus inside, the bus is right up front and also the heart of the kitchen. There is a spacious indoor lounge with tables, outlets and a plenty of working space as well as a cozy outdoor patio to sit and enjoy your drink. Strawberry Matcha was delicious and the Lucky Charm Matcha tasted like cereal milk. Super cute place.

Perfect serotonin boost in adorable coffee truck form! I had such a tough time choosing what to order because there were simply too many good options. And all dairy free milks?! I ended up with the honeybun latte off of the spring menu. It was absolute happiness in a cup, although a touch too sweet for me. I forgot to ask for it less sweet, so next time I'll just ask for a little less sugar. My fiancé ordered the London fog cold brew which was so uniquely wonderful. I'll have to come back for their sandwiches, pastries, and matcha!

The decor is so amazing! It was a nice clean and trendy part of Los Angeles so this genuine van from the 1970s parked inside was such a pleasant surprise. The coffee was great! I loved the balance of sweetness and the espresso shot! There's many cute seasonal menu items which I did not get a chance to try!! I loved how friendly the barista was!

The best spot in the hood! May it be the location, the set up, the crew or the menu, this place is the place to be if you're cool, discerning about your coffee, treats or meeting cool people and fun pooches!!

They've got a car in that building for a coffee shop!!! I love ambiance like this with a couple of other places that have taken up this trend and it never gets old! But the best part is their vast array of high quality choices and vegan friendly options. Oh it gets better! All the milks are DAIRY-FREE!!! Vegans descend from the heavens this is my jam!!! Just when you think wow this place is good It gets BETTER !? Single Origin COFFEE! Calm this coffee snob down! AND It gets EVEN BETTER !?! The Fall Menu with REAL Kabocha Pumpkin!!!! This was my first time here and it legit took me 20 minutes to choose... talk about an existential foodie crisis! I went with the Kabocha Spice Matcha and it delivered! On the sweet with a hint of spice and the sophistication of real kabocha pumpkin! I'm glad I'm in the valley because I would go broke for this place! The service was great and patient with all of my questions and indecisiveness!

Wow, super delicious and super cute!! Has a big room in the back to sit/work from, and even an outdoor area behind that! Will def be back, especially since it's also pet friendly! Thanks staff :)

Been coming here for years because I love me some good fresh black coffee--and I'm so happy to say--THEY OPENED UP THE INSIDE & BACK of the place!!! Take a walk past Sunny the Truck after grabbing your Farm Cup of choice and step into a light and airy room with a high ceiling & exposed wooden beams, a gorgeous wall mural, and plenty of seating to sip at your leisure. Keep walking through that art gallery-type room and there's an outdoor patio, too! There's a small step to get outside with ramp access. All in all, amazing job Farm Cup! It's a slice of the Arts District in the middle of Weho!

So sad the other location closed down in DTLA because this cafe/restaurant was amazing! Lavender matcha is so good and so was the food but it's not applicable to this location as far as I know. Bring back the food!

Ever been to a coffee shop that's a truck in a shop? I couldn't say I had before until I visited Farm Cup Coffee. It has the cutest little bright yellow coffee van which you can spot from a fair bit away! A great photo opportunity too. When we arrived, we were asked if it was our first time here and when we said yes, we were nicely explained the menu (i.e. their default milk is Chobani's oat milk but there are other upgrades such as pistachio milk, etc) then recommended the Poet as being a popular choice as well as the Snickerdoodle latte from the holiday menu. Their base being Chobani's oat milk is actually the main reason we decided to visit as we know we love it and it's no longer sold in Canada. Those were the two beverages we opted for after some debates, one iced and one hot. Both were delicious! The Poet is described to be a honey lavender latte made with double shot of their single origin espresso, 1883 lavender syrup, a touch of honey, steamed milk. It was subtle yet aromatic, while not being too fragrant and/or floral. The Snickerdoodle latte is great for any cinnamon lovers. Both were tasty and high quality. We also couldn't resist trying their bakery items which were selling out fast! We ordered the citrus olive oil cake and WOW, one of the best things I've ever had and that is no exaggeration. Flavor was evident but not too potent and the cake itself was so moist. It's something that I still think about now that my trip to Santa Monica has ended. I highly recommend a visit here and have told others about it! Also bookmarked it for future visits if I ever make a trip there again. Just note, there is not really any seating at this spot besides the two little tables outside so it is more of a grab n' go type coffee shop. For parking, we went for the free street parking at the nearby residential area. Just be careful as parking is free at certain times and days of the week - read carefully as each street is different!

I LOVE Farm Cup. A few months ago my my friend brought me a Blueberry Matcha from farm cup and I have been obsessed ever since! To be fair I have only had the Bluberry Matcha, but I have had it 5+ times and it is one of my favorite things ever, it genuinely makes me happy because it so delicious.

I had just dropped my son off at school and was starving for some reason. I ordered a loaded carne asada-style dish served over fresh greens, and every bite was intentional and well-balanced. The beef was deeply seasoned, tender, and slightly crisped in places, which added great texture. It was topped with a creamy, slightly tangy sauce that tied everything together without overpowering the meat. What really stood out was the attention to detail: pickled red onions for acidity, fresh greens for balance, and a side of house-made pickled vegetables that cut through the richness perfectly. The tostada-style side topped with avocado, herbs, and onions added a nice contrast--crunchy, fresh, and vibrant. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Portion size was generous without feeling excessive, and the dish felt hearty yet clean. I paired it with a refreshing citrus drink that complemented the meal well and kept everything light. Overall, this is the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen cares about execution. Bold flavors, great balance, and a presentation that looks just as good as it tastes. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying, well-crafted meal

This is a long-overdue post. République has been on my must-visit list of LA dining experiences for…read morequite some time. I just never realized where it was since I don't usually make it out to Hancock Park. Then one day, while I happened to be in the area, I stumbled upon it and had one of those "Wait...this is here?!" moments. You ever have one of those places you've wanted to visit forever, only to realize it was much closer than you thought? My first visit was actually for dessert after having a less-than-memorable lunch at Mish down the street. Unfortunately, I arrived later in the day and most of the pastry case had already been wiped out, leaving only a limited selection. The staff recommended the Dulce de Leche Cremadette ($6.75), and I'm glad they did. It was perfectly flaky, buttery, and sweet, with the dulce de leche tucked inside the pastry. The caramel reminded me of the caramel coating on a caramel apple. I also picked up some brownies at the staff's recommendation, and those were fantastic -- incredibly moist, rich, and delicious. Definitely a must-get. I was a little disappointed that I missed out on the majority of the pastry selection, but I was told that the pastries are made in limited batches each day and once they sell out, that's it. So if you're coming specifically for the pastries, get here early. Earlier this summer, I made the acquaintance of an OG Yelper, Joseph A., and we've been corresponding back and forth on Yelp. I happened to know that he's a regular at République, so I asked if he'd be interested in meeting me right when they opened. I figured if anyone knew what to order, it would be him. Joseph was incredibly kind and gracious enough to treat me to breakfast. I ordered his usual breakfast recommendation: the Regular Breakfast ($24), which comes with bacon steak, fingerling potatoes, a demi baguette, French butter, jam, and an egg prepared any style. Joseph went with the soft scramble, and I followed his lead. That was definitely the move. They really know how to cook eggs here. The soft scramble was absolutely divine -- creamy, delicate, and perfectly cooked. The bacon steak was a little on the salty side, but still very good. The demi baguette was excellent, especially with the French butter and jam. Honestly, I could have eaten several pieces of that baguette with the butter and jam alone. The fingerling potatoes were nicely seasoned and quite good on their own, but a few dashes of hot sauce really took them up another notch. I'll be honest: $24 is definitely on the pricey side for what you're getting, especially when you break down the individual components. That said, when you factor in the quality of the food, the setting, and the overall experience, I can understand why people are willing to pay it. We also shared several pastries, and every single one was excellent in its own right. I'm officially hooked on the pastries here. They just don't miss. Service was pretty good during my visit. One thing worth noting is that République adds a 4% surcharge to the bill to help cover healthcare for their staff. It's certainly something to be aware of when looking at the final bill. f you're looking for a quintessential LA brunch experience to take out-of-towners to, République is a great option. Just be prepared for potentially long lines, especially on weekends. I visited on a weekday morning over the summer, so I didn't personally experience the weekend crowds. My only real wait was at the pastry counter during my first visit. I've heard you can expect people lining up before they even open at 8AM, so plan accordingly. The cult following surrounding Walter and Margarita Manzke's restaurant/café is understandable. Between the food, pastries, atmosphere, and history of the building, there's a lot to appreciate here. And speaking of history, the building itself is pretty special. The property was built in 1928 by Charlie Chaplin. It became a restaurant in 1989 when chefs Mark Peel and Nancy Silverton transformed the space to open La Brea Bakery and Campanile. After Campanile closed in 2012, the building was renovated and modified to open up the space while returning it closer to the spirit of its original construction. République opened in 2013 and has been going strong ever since. Do yourself a favor and eat at République. Come for the food and pastries, but also take some time to appreciate the ambiance and the history of this incredible LA property. And whatever you do, get here early if you want the pastries. Once they're gone, they're gone! Don't walk--run to République.

My girlfriend got the Oh Wow Crispy French Toast and the All American Breakfast. The French toast was definitely a standout cinnamon swirl brioche with crème brûlée, corn flakes, berries, and Nutella. It was crispy, sweet, and loaded with toppings. The All American was a solid classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. We also split an order of the truffled waffle fries, and those were really good.
