We are driving vine to are as from San Diego. We were actually going to Wendy's across the street when we noticed FarmerBoy's Burgers and decided to give it a try. We walked into a great atmosphere and friendly service. The associate Julio was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 2 burger combos with fries and zucchini fries, fish with zucchini fries and a club sandwich with fries. The food was delivered to the table really fast. It was hot and delicious. Julio came by a couple times to make sure everything was alright. If I get the chance to eat here again I'll will be back. read more

I love Farmer Boys Cobb salad. Healthy, large, and nutritious. It was good. I'm glad they give senior discount. I wish they would get coupons. The price seems a little high to me. Service was good, but I didn't put a 5 because I asked no ice on my drink and they put it, I asked for jalapenos and I had to ask again, they didn't clean the patio tables good, specially now, they should have them super clean. This is the second time we go and our order is wrong or missing items. The first time we went we ordered a salad without bacon, because we are allergic to it and when we received it, after waiting about 15 minutes in the drive-thru, the salad had bacon on it. This second time we went through the drive-thru, we also waited for 15 minutes, we didn't receive our kids meal. I called to let them know I was going back to get it and when I got there I still had to wait about 10 minutes because it was being made fresh, which I didn't mind. Slowest drive through ever, and awful service as well. The person on the ordering speaker constantly cut us off and kept repeating the order wrong like she wasn't paying attention. The wait after paying in the drive through was insane as well. What's the point of having it if you can't get the order out fast? We sat here for about 10 minutes which is absurd for an empty drive through. read more

We almost didn't go here but I'm so glad we did. The service and the food was phenomenal. So delicious. We will be back there for food. The prices were not bad either. This place is something all its own. It's a fast food joint that serves you like a restaurant would. This is why it bugs me a bit when people bitch about the wait time. It's expected with this place, as unlike other fast food joints, this place is all fresh food, and they advertise that. The fresh food is the exact reason why this restaurant thrives in other California cities who really dig the fresh food taste. The Valley hasn't really caught onto that yet, so don't ditch this restaurant based completely on the wait! If you are expecting quick, greasy food that has been sitting under heat lamps all day to compensate for wait times, this place would not be for you. The fresh food makes the kitchen staff work extra hard and a bit longer to make the food, hence the wait time via drive-thru and inside the restaurant. The sandwiches are awesome, and the salads are delicious. The food is fresh, but don't expect low caloric intake based on that notion. The salads are topped with deliciously sinful toppings, and so are most of their burgers. I'm not big on fried food, but they have fried zucchini and thick sliced fried onions that are to die for, for all you fried food junkies. Their healthier options are salad with low-cal dressing and their wraps for people who are being mindful, but also want something tasty. I count on this place to be a quick stop with fresh food taste for my sack lunch pick-up for work. Keep in mind that you can call in orders for pick up prior to stopping by the store if you are being especially mindful of your time. read more

I pretty sure that Drive Through has a priority. We went into the restaurant and Alex C took our breakfast order. 20+ minutes later our meal was brought to the booth. We ordered coffee with the meal but had to wait until our order was brought to our booth and had to ask again. After wandering through the only other review/diatribe i was not the least bit worried and decided to give these guys a chance. Had the farmer burger / onion rings. Burger: amazing! everything you ever wanted on a burger, some things you never knew you needed until then. Onion Rings: gigantic, not those little extruded ones that you get at jack in the box or other inferior places. We are talking some of the biggest damn onion rings i have ever seen. I was not too much a fan of the batter on the rings, but that is personal taste and by no means a universal deal breaker. Did i mention that the onion rings are the size of a softball???!?! I got my meal fast, straight to my table, with zero issue for under 9 bucks. The inside of the place has all kinds of interesting stuff on the walls, and the menu is deep and varied. If you are worried about eating healthy, this is not the place for you. If you however are on a cheat day, or have zero inhibitions regarding what you eat and only go after taste, i dare say that for the money farmer boys is the best place to get a burger in town. Burgers & beer may be slightly better, but eh, i don't know. That farmer burger was sure damn good. This was the second time we had to go up to the head person and ask them to check on our order. Seems like they have a ton of employees but why is their cooking a problem? Got the Farmer's Omelette (with bacon), and it was pretty decent. The "omelette" was more of a scramble than a traditional foldover omelette dish. Service was decent and nothing to rave over.
