The customer service was great, but the portions of food are ridiculously small. We have always enjoyed farmer boys but after today I dont plan to visit one again...I ordered a avocado sourdough chicken sandwich, paid almost $11, you would expect a decent sandwich...nope..you get tiny little piece of grilled chicken with the lightest layer of avocado and one small piece of bacon...I've literally seen bigger chicken nuggets then that little piece of chicken that didn't even fill half the sandwich. We also ordered the three egg breakfast, what a joke of a plate, my 5 year old was still hungry after finishing his plate. I also ordered a side of fires for $4.50, they put the side of fires on the same plate as the sandwich, just to make the plate look full!..very disappointed..save your money and go somewhere else...not what it use to be. read more

My grandkids love to go to Farmer Boys for lunch. Just about everything I've had there has been good. The burgers are made to order and very good. The kids usually get the chicken strips and they look good as well. The fries are tasty. They also have pretty good Ranch Dressing. This is one place I don't mind taking them to because we all can get something we like. read more

This Farmer Boys location isn't too bad of a stop for the value, but there are consistent problems with food every time I order. Possibly the best thing about farmer boys is the portion size of their meals. They're relatively generous for a pretty good price. For under $10, I usually get a type of chicken sandwich combo with fries (fried zucchini is also really good) and a drink. The sandwiches are good sized and very filling. At this location in particular, the staff is usually very warm and friendly. On the down side, every time I order a chicken sandwich here, it is never thoroughly cooked. I'm not talking maybe-sat-for-a-couple-minutes-cool, but undercooked "What the deuce?" style. This location is also understaffed at night. If the drive through is so busy you can't acknowledge the line of customers forming inside, you need another person behind the counter. And it's not that they're being rude, it's just a busy place. Bottom line- Farmer boys is a good, solid 3-star affair, but this location could use a little improvement. read more

I have stopped at this Farmer Boys from time to time when travelling through the Hemet area and am becoming more disappointed each visit. Initially the food was fairly consistent with this type of restaurant with no major issues. It seemed that the help was overly nice....almost a forced niceness when visiting the table. The biggest problem was the fact that they would mop the floor while we were still in the restaurant making the floors in the dining area as well as bathroom extremely slippery, to the dangerous point. It would have made much more sense to do this after all customers have left right after closing. My most recent visit there was even more frustrating when the food was not as we had ordered it and also under cooked. When it was returned telling them about it, they were more than willing to do a better job cooking the meal but when I asked if we could have a few more fries to go with the meal I was told they would have to charge me. I didn't feel this was right after two of the three meals were problematic. To be quite honest, I am not sure if I will go back to this location. read more

When I walked into farmer boys I was greeted by the cooks and cashiers it made me feel welcome and actually put me in a brighter happier mood bc sometimes I find myself feeling as if I'm making a restaurant "work hard for me" which makes me feel a lil awkward but not here!! The food has always been great here. No complaints there. I've had their breakfast burritos which are bomb and I've had their patty melts and wraps. All delicious. Inside is always clean and it's nice. I usually use the drive thru which does take a little longer but that's okay. The only reason why they are getting 3 stars is the price. For me and hubs to eat it's $25 dollars. WHAT?? That's crazy! For 2 combos. Yeah. I could go to a restaurant and spend that. I think they need to lower the price. After reading some of the other reviews I guess I should be lucky that I had such a great experience! The cashier was very nice and took both of our coupons with no questions asked, she explained everything to us, and was very prompt. The food was fresh, warm and quick! It was delivered by the manager Maria with a big smile! She was very nice and helpful the whole time we were sitting there. I had the Avocado Chicken Sandwich and it was very good and my mom and hubby shared the Farmer Burger! It was cooked perfect and was very juicy! We shared a cookies and cream shake and it was very very yummy!! The manager came to our table at least 5-6 times and it was a full restaurant! She got us refills and anything we needed. The food is good but honestly the drive thru is a complete nightmare. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers. Nothing complicated... It took 30 minutes from the time I entered until I got my food. 20 minutes after I ordered. You would think that the orders would have plenty of time to be completed by the time I got to the window but no. That took a good 10 minutes of that time. Farmer boys has a great selection of burgers for your burger appetite, they have a host of good food. But, here's the punch in the stomach, THE PRICE. Since living here I've searched my local eateries, and found the one and ONLY thing that separated me from going there with my family of two teenagers and my wife, if I don't have over sixty dollars my family will not get full. One meal alone is a little over ten bucks. So, if your wallet is full have at it, I'll be looking at you from outside the window drooling . My husband and I come here quite often. The staff is always friendly, the place is clean and the food is generally very good although the fries are the worst in the city in my opinion. My 3 star rating isn't because of the fries though. The day-manager's name is Krista. She is a very sweet, conscientious, and generous person. Unfortunately Krista is a little too generous and sweet at times. Recently my husband and I noticed that dirty, homeless people were coming in and helping themselves to the soda at the self-serve fountain. When we brought it to the attention of one of the employees, she said that Krista was aware of it but since they just came in, got a soda, then left she was okay with it. As long as this practice continues, we will have to patronize the other Farmer Boys in San Jacinto. read more

I really enjoy stopping at Farmer Boys, and this location in particular. They have such a friendly staff that make you feel at home, and appreciated. This was my first time trying their new burger...double meat and double cheese. I normally have their fish and chips on Fridays but I'd read about the new burger and had to try it. I wasn't disappointed! It's filling! I had to take 3 of the zucchini sticks home, and I rarely have to take home a to-go box. Here's a tip if you go and plan on going back.
