Five months ago a one star review was left regarding ordering on grubhub and not getting ranch and ketchup sides that were requested. I see that the business manager responded to that review saying they are striving to be better and that would be addressed with the team. Well, I can say that 5 months later, that same exact thing has not changed. We made the absolute worst decision to order from here via grubhub a second time after this happened to us before. This first time we even called to verbalize the ranch instructions. We requested 4 sides of ranch and only got one stinking cup. We had to decide who was going to get that side of ranch. Basically our meals were ruined and just about everything was thrown in the trash, yes, because we didn't have ranch to go with our food. We were afraid to open a ticket through grubhub in fear it would penalize the driver, when he had nothing to do with it. Needless to say we will never order from this establishment ever again. Can I go pick up my food? Yes, I can, but when it's offered via grubhub and it's a drive, we are going to take it. I've been coming to this Farmer boys for years. the food is always great and there's usually affordable meals. You can see by the posters they have going on. Parking is on top of Marshall's. You can always find but due expect to find it pack during Christmas time. The staff are usually friendly and attentive. There's been times when they have made a mistake here and there but they don't have a problem fixing that. They keep this place really clean and this is not easy especially homeless right outside the metro station. So I give them props for that. read more

I've been to this location about 3 times in 10 years. The first time I ordered breakfast it was pretty good. Second time I ordered a burger fries and a drink it was OK. I've been looking for fish and chips in my neighborhood for a long time and finally decided to give this place farmer boys a try. They have a three piece fish and chip special with a drink it comes to just about $20 period. The fish that they're using is Alaskan Pollock and not cod fish which would be the traditional fish and chips to use. French fries are OK and they are coated in the seasoning the fish was rather bland. Unfortunately if I was to go back I would probably order something totally different and not the same thing again. I would rate the fish and chips about a 6 1/2 out of 10. read more

I'm always skeptical about zucchini sticks and ranch dressing. Some ranch dressing just has a sort of tangy taste to it which I don't know how people could even call that ranch. As for the zucchini sticks most places you get frozen. Farmer boys however had some really good ranch dressing. The zucchini sticks were fresh not frozen. That was very surprising, and made me happy. They were cooked perfectly too. The Burger of course is not a high-end burger, but wasn't bad. I also added extra grilled onions with it. I'm always afraid that when I place an order at a place like this that my order will always come out wrong, but it didn't. The person who accompanied me also ordered a cheeseburger combo but with french fries. Needless to say I was impressed that even though this is a chain it wasn't bad. Price was good too. I gave it a five star because price was good, free parking, free Wi-Fi, fresh fried zucchini, ranch dressing, clean place, great customer service, and overall not what I expected. So, I ordered the Pancake Patter with ham. (see pic) The meal was served on a plastic plate with plastic utensils. Coffee in a paper cup. This surprised me too... The meal was overall average. I'd say on par with Bob's Big Boy, Coco's, etc. Prices a bit on the high side. But, this location does have discount coupons plus an App where you can earn points for discounts. The service, decor, condition and overall cleanliness was average to above average. I ordered the pancake patter, but tried to serve me french toast... I was lucky to find a parking spot in front of the place. I found out later, free parking is available around the corner, behind Petco and Marshall's. Not my first time to Farmer Boys but first at this Hollywood Blvd location. My cheeseburger, had a huge wedge of iceberg lettuce on it and after one bite the entire burger came apart. Bottom bun was a soggy mess basically disintegrating. I returned to the counter, where I was told it could not be remade because I had eaten too much of it. They then changed their minds and remade it. I took a friend on my recommendation, but we both determined that there are better burger places, especially for the money, which = $28 for two people burgers fries and one drink.
