I love the steak dinner options here!! The service is always super friendly and fast!! The tender meat and flavor of the seasoning was super excellent!! I love the mashed potatoes, especially with butter they only put gravy on it, which I do like, but I could put butter and so just put me in him soup another favor of mine, but I absolutely have to have the side salad with the blue cheese You always get really good service here which most restaurants of the caliber. The Super Bowl is taking care of you no matter mostly in 20 minutes at the very longest. I personally have never had to wait more than 10 minutes from order to eat it. Usually they are so fast in the. I tend to love sitting here I come here daily. No one is good, but the service is incredibly fun and I think all of us agree that most people people working out in this job come every day to play one of the best days that they can possibly have a good day that you could have, but I've also ordered any other items. You know what I love about this place? It's hours and locations. I came here not once but twice during my stay in the Hollywood Hills area. I decided to drive into Los Angeles late, very late and I'm glad I did. Zero traffic, just coasting along with no delays. When I got into town, I searched 24hr diners on my Yelp app and Norms popped up so close to my accommodations. The first thing I ordered was eggs, sausage, bacon and French Toast. They had sugar-free syrup. The coffee was hot and vanilla creamer was available. My server was super nice. At 2am, the restaurant had a few late night crowd, but it was also on a Thursday night. The restaurant is located in a shopping center next to Ross and a supermarket. There is onsite security and that was good. There was a homeless person walking around checking for recycables but he did not bother me. On the night of the concert at the Greek, when I was leaving the venue I was directed to drive through the hills to exit. I went through some winding roads, a tunnet, and ended up at the stoplight. When I arrived I thought, "This looks familiar." I immediately recognized where I was and instead of turning L/R I went straight because I knew Norms was straight ahead. It worked out perfect for me because I was already set to go to Norms as it was already after midnight. This time around I got steak and eggs with two pancakes instead of hashbrowns. yah, I had a sweet tooth during this travel excursion and this place hit the spot. I would like to share feedback regarding my experiences at the NORMS Restaurant location. First, I want to recognize one of your servers, Ava. She consistently provides outstanding customer service and is a major reason I continue to return. Whether I'm ordering takeout or dining in, Ava is professional, attentive, and respectful. She represents your establishment in the best way possible and is truly an asset to your team. Unfortunately, my overall experience at this location has been inconsistent. There have been multiple occasions where other servers have made me feel overlooked or unwelcome, as if I was not being properly attended to. Additionally, I observed management interacting with customers in a way that came across as unprofessional and unpleasant, which was discouraging to witness. These experiences have, at times, left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about how customers are treated. Without Ava present during certain visits, I believe the overall experience could easily become negative. While the food itself is acceptable, the atmosphere and level of service significantly impact the dining experience. This was my first try of the Hollywood location. I hadn't been to this shopping center before and I was surprised at how convenient the parking is, especially if you just go straight to underground. Plus, they don't charge! We went for lunch and there was plenty of seating in the spacious restaurant. You enter from the inside of the shopping center, which is good. A big plus for this location is there is beer and wine, which I don't think the flagship has in West Hollywood. I had the BLTA with onion rings and it was really good! I also had a mimosa, which was delightful. I like that there's a Norm's closer to me, that is not so chaotic as the West Hollywood one, even though that one is in a really cool Googie building. I think this location is great, I highly recommend if you have shopping to do, because there's a Ralphs as well. read more

Hallelujah!! It might be a bit vain to praise such a trivial act, but ever since I started fasting, I've really gotten to indulge in all the foods I love. I guess that's why we say a prayer before a meal or feast - to thank the Lord/God for hot food that fills our stomachs. I honestly don't recall the last time I had a country-fried steak, and man, was it delicious! This is probably the highest-reviewed NORMS in all of SoCal, and I truly hope that never changes. The staff were upbeat, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. Without them, there would be no refills of my ICE-out teas- and that would suck big time. We really need good people like them to keep places like Norms up and running smoothly. It must have been my lucky day! I was able to find a parking spot without going to the lower level. Parking spaces aren't very spacious so we'll see who parks on either side of my car. Ugh, I was considering the porter house steak but I ordered a California Cobb Salad for dinner instead. My choice of salad dressing was the balsamic but apparently they've never carried it. Hmmm, you'd think that if it's a choice on the app that they'd have it. When the salad arrived, it came with toasted garlic bread. I didn't know it was included as I would have chosen an alternate if available. There is wifi available for guests but did not connect to it. A sign in is required. So far the waitress had done better than average service. She was very kind and checked if we needed anything else. This was after I had finished my salad. She presented the check without up selling any dessert, not that I wanted nor needed it. Haha. As Norms gotten busier during dinner hours, it got louder and noisier. This review is for the Norms located at 5453 Hollywood Blvd. I like coming here for the great food and the great service I always get from these two host/servers ...Ethan and Jasmin . They make my dining experience a great one and I leave happy and ready for the rest of my workday. I would like the manager of this establishment to recognize these two amazing Norms employees. We told our waiter Jesus about the French toast plate and he brought us pancakes and we told him that there was a mistake and apologetic we said French toast he got all defensive and very rudely no you said this. One of the last great diners in LA. They are a dying breed so it's always a warm and fuzzy feeling to go to Norms. Especially for breakfast. This Norms is a newer one, but they still have great service, and the breakfasts are always on point. They are always right there to fill your cup with a refill,a lost art. And even with escalating prices, they still give a great deal with plenty of food for the price. Sure hope they endure. read more

We had tea, steak & egg plate, a waffle, and buffalo wings. I would have been happy to pay that much if the food had been good quality, but oh my gosh... Came here after a long day at a theme park. I saw that it was open and not far and figured I'd give Norm's a try. Plenty of parking in the lot, so I was happy about that. We were greeted upon entry and were quickly seated. Our server was very nice and polite. The menu has a little bit of everything, great for traveling with a picky eater. Service was a little slow...but it was a weeknight and you could tell there wasn't a ton of staff. Prices are fair and the portions were good. The dining area was bright and clean, and fairly large. Brought my mom to have some comfort food after her lower back surgery. We were welcomed with airy greetings and happy smiles and were seated in a booth near the window. We ordered great food which was of great portion we had to take the rest home. The price was a little more than other comfort food restaurants though. The restroom was clean. And as we were about to leave the restaurant, one server assisted my mom who was walking using a cane. That was a very nice unexpected gesture. I appreciated that so much!!! This location very refreshing! Newly built, fresh , clean, and naturally lit ambiance. I went for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning and it was moving. Our wait wasnt long, Food was good, service was attentive, and this place was busy!! But it never felt like they were overwhelmed. I had the steak bigger better breakfast, the steak was actually really tender. The french toast is always one of my go to favorites and my daughters had the strawberry pancakes that they LOVED. Having a 90 minute wait time on food is the 2nd worse. The first one is having Conno as your waiter. Drinks had to be taken to the beverage station. Telling me what I had order doesnt come with said items. Then tells me our items doesnt come with pancakes. Then charges it on the bill. This place is clearly understaffed and needs more workers. If you can handle terrible service, and can fill your own drink. The food is great, and the host/hostess are great too. Next time I get a similar experience. I will be going to LA cienaga instead.
