First time trying CAVA, I was excited to see what the hype was about. Food was good. I ordered Harissa Avocado with pita chips and I loved the food. Total was about $20. Only reason why I'd give 3/5 is because of the slow and inconsiderate experience while ordering. We went at 8pm, not too busy but a moderate number of customers. They were slow (sorry to say but almost seemed lazy), not very greeting AND they forgot two of the ingredients. (like how?) Ordered 8 bowls for pick up at 12:30pm on a Tuesday. I arrived 10 minutes early, there was a line of 10+ people and 3 people waiting for DoorDash ordered. I let staff know I was there for pickup and they were able to get it ready within a few minutes (and ahead of schedule). Great experience overall! Tables were clean and decent seating. Bowls are on the saucy side I would recommend light sauce. A $20 bowl with a healthy chunk of salmon is honestly not too bad! Parking lot with free valet in the back of the building. read more

Had an order placed to be ready at 8:15. Didn't get it until 8:36. They didn't give me a drink cup with my order, had to wait additionally for that. Tried food in the car and all of it is cold. It was my first time at CAVA and I would recommend if it's your first time, to order a bowl odd the menu rather than a build your own (BYO) since it's difficult to predict how the flavor combinations will work together, especially since there are so many things to choose -- a bit overwhelming. But alas, I did a BYO and there were more sour flavors and not enough salty and sweet to balance. I wish it was clearer that when you order half a serving of a protein that has extra cost, they will charge you the full amount (as if you got a whole serving). Love cava! We were in the area today 5/23 and decided to stop by when they opened. Very clean location and was able to find parking right up front. Only complaint is they didn't have half of the toppings which was kinda odd. I think it's better to let people know up front instead of waiting until they get to the toppings section which is right before you check out. read more

Give me 6 months with this place and I'd whip it into shape. It's obvious getting out as fast as possible is more important than customer service and profit. A message to corporate and management. You'd make a ton more money in Hollywood if you trained your staff properly on customer service and just had product on hand. I don't think I've ever been able to identify someone in charge. My go to is Supergreens and Splendidgreens mixes, grilled chicken, Tahini Caesar dressing, hummus, fiery broccoli, corn, persian cucumbers, feta, tomato and cucumber, and a side pita. Such a plus that Cava gives you unlimited toppings! My absolute fav dressings are the yogurt dill and garlic. When I asked if the restaurant was open, one of the employees gave me a very bad attitude and seemed annoyed by my question. After that, they appeared unwilling to make my food. I fell in love with Cava while I was in Atlanta. This LA location didn't disappoint. I just wrapped up with an event across the street, and needed to grab a bite. The parking situation was a nightmare, and I had no idea where to park. There was a garage attached to the building, but the attendant said you can't park there for Cava. The workers did seem ever so slightly annoyed that I didn't know what I wanted. I had only been to one in Atlanta, and it had been a while, so I was still unfamiliar with the bowls. Anyway, it was still delicious. I do wish the bowls were crafted in a way where you can see where things are. My bowl felt like it was missing something for there to be a savory/sweet balance the whole time I was eating, and then I got to this last part that had a huge chunk of some sort of garlic-y paste that I would've distributed more evenly if I saw it. The corn pretty much covered everything, but I guess they expect you to just mix it all before you eat. Anyway, the location was super clean. Service was super quick. Travel plans had me passing through LAX on my way back to MSP, and to my surprise, I found myself right next to a CAVA! Let's just say ... goodness in a bowl. I ordered my usual: the Steak & Harissa Bowl (minus the tomatoes) and it was everything. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. CAVA really knows how to deliver bold, satisfying flavors in a fast-casual setting. If you have a CAVA near you, run, don't walk. Unfortunately, Minneapolis hasn't caught on yet ... either they're missing the memo or CAVA is being a little stingy about expanding. They have 2 doors and 1 was locked so we walked towards the one on the side, before walking in this lady slammed the door open for me then walked away.. thanks i guess? The worst experience I've ever had at any CAVA. The customer service was shockingly bad and outright rude. The manager began cleaning, packing up, and draining the drink station well before closing time, making it clear they didn't want customers there. I ordered a bowl and was double-charged for a half-and-half option, then had to beg just to receive a quarter pita. To my knowledge, every other CAVA serves a bowl with at least half a pita included. Nothing about this experience aligned with the brand's standards. The staff's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional from start to finish. I had such a great experience at CAVA today. Parking was super easy, the restaurant was clean, and even the bathrooms were spotless which already set a good tone. The food was amazing (as always), but what really made this visit stand out was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was patient, friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. Normally at the office we order from this location on uber eats, we have ordered multiple times until these last two attempts of ordering because cava is fresh and delicious. The portions have decreased never have we once complained about this location but now I am. Also missing ingredients on my usual chicken and rice I love cucumber well this time it didn't love me because it was not added at all. Idk lacks there in this location but they need to fix it asap. It's disappointing paying so much already on uber eats delivery sub charges for us to receive small hand portion food that does not fill up our bowls no more.
