There were two kids (baby goats), and the others were like 70-80 pounds. So be aware of the weight before you go and have these on you. It might be more ram yoga for you vs goat yoga. We got the kids, and my back feels super fine today! The goats do poop and pee everywhere so leave your bags in the car. Wear your non lululemon leggings because the hooves will stick to you if they jump on you, and there goes $100 yoga pants. And they provide their own mat, just use that one for your own sanitary reasons. Luckily, we prepared extra outfits for the pumpkin patch after. But the water was ice cold and this affects the review much as well. After touching a poopy mat, if there isn't hot water, how am I supposed to be okay with post-barn goat yoga? If I had known beforehand that there wasn't a way to even wash my hands thoroughly, I wouldn't have participated. I assumed that there would be warm water. If you want pictures taken of you, you must ask the photographer. Or sit in the front, just an fyi. All in all, I love the fact that they rescued these goats. The owners are nice. Also this isn't a yoga class where the teacher will correct your moves or help you, so hopefully you have some yoga familiarity before you come. She was easy to follow. Lastly: The goat snacks and treats are in a pitcher above attached to a wall. Hopefully I was able to type some of the things that will be helpful for your goat yoga.

Goats are incredibly friendly. They have been treated and loved over everything :) They are the queens and respected during class because all of us came with a great attitude to share our time with them in their own space :) I have to say that the class is a very basic one supposed to be for everyone. I wish there would be more levels but I think that would make "work" these goats. So, playing with them was good enough for me :) Definitely was in my bucket list. Staff is mega friendly and patient. I can see their passion about the animals. You can be sure the whole team is prepared. They will also take pics.

We were not disappointed in that area at all. The presentation was beautiful, and both the quality and portion sizes were spot on. We had the wedge salad, corn ribs, and steak bites (made with steak from their own farm), and everything was excellent. The service was also fantastic. The team at TFF is among the best in Snohomish. A couple of things could be improved, which I imagine are growing pains from opening weekend. The biggest challenge was that we had to close out our tab each time we ordered rather than keeping one tab open throughout our visit. It was very inconvenient as a guest experience, so hopefully that's something they're able to streamline as they settle into operations. The other minor issue was that the store area wasn't quite ready yet, so we weren't able to fully experience that part of the visit. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed when we come back. After waiting for 20 minutes, I went to their food pickup table to get our meals as soon as they were ready so that we could eat and get to the butterfly release. I saw what looked like five of the seven items we ordered come out shortly. They then sat under a heat lamp for another 20 minutes, when two of us left to get to the butterfly release. I was fairly certain that quite a few orders placed afer ours were served before us, as there were only three groups at tables when we arrived, and many more than that were served while we waited. The rest of our group joined us just before 12:30 with our food orders. After the butterfly event, we went back to our outdoor table and finally had our lunch about 90 minutes after we placed our order. We then discovered that we got a kids size mac and cheese instead of the adult entree, and the other kids mac and cheese included was minus the fruit. Thomas Family Farms is a great place to visit, but avoid their restaurant.

Bob's has a lawn with tons of pumpkins to choose from, a place to get fresh donuts, a few food stall options, a fudge shop, a country store where you can buy local favorites, a wagon ride, corn maze, and so much more. The free things are the pumpkin lawn and the country store, otherwise everything else is an extra cost for a reasonable price. I love picking up some corn, small pumpkins and honeycrisp apples at the country store and then finding a large carving pumpkin :)

Let's start with the good stuff about this concert venue with this caveat; the bad is REALLY bad…read moreand it makes it really hard to focus on the good things Remlinger Farms has going for it as a concert venue because the bad seems unavoidable (we tried). The good: Beautiful setting Friendly folks manning the venue interior Ample beverage choices with reasonable markup Really good carrot cake Clean port a potties The bad: We showed up well before the venue opened at 5:30 hoping to secure a parking spot that would allow us to leave without the gridlock we had experienced prior when we went to the Black Keys. At that prior concert upon exit we sat unmoving in our car for at least 45 minutes before someone opened a back gate and let us out. We were hopeful the next time that they would have opened that sooner. But NOPE --They no longer open it, they claim, because the city requires they keep that exit clear for emergency vehicles. If you arrive early, DO NOT ALLOW THEM to park you near the back fence/gate. They will not let you out the gate and you will be the last to leave. This is super frustrating because you can't help but see that there's a gate and a clear path away. The visual of an exit is hard to look at when you're stuck and unmoving. Remlinger Farms needs to take into consideration that the first to arrive should be parked closer to feasible exits. It seems unusually punitive to require early birds to be the last to leave, while staring at a blocked exit --when they give up more time prior to the concert to be there early. When cars don't move at all it also just brings up something primal that we all feel when we're trapped, (fight or flight)with no escape. After the Cake concert, with our cars In the back section, we all left our vehicles to see what was going on. One of the women there said that her sister had arrived at 6:45 PM, 15 minutes before the show started and was already on her way home. The show had ended at least an hour prior. Several people gathered and the mood was getting escalated. Trapped people are frustrated people. This to me is completely unacceptable and poor management of resources. To express our frustration , feedback and case for letting us out the gate, some folks all started talking to the manager of parking about what was happening, including telling him of our early arrival---and while the kid was polite he probably was about 19 or 20. You don't put a kid in charge of crowd control during parking exits. This is completely irresponsible and not well thought out. While they may have devised a plan to empty the parking lot as swiftly as possible, in fairness, they also need to take into consideration that first and first out is really a thing, and it keeps people from becoming irate or desperate to leave. One person had their toolbox and was ready to take the back gate off the hinges-- I kid you not, And I don't blame the reaction. At the heart of it, we are still animals that will go to lengths not to be cornered. It's understandable to be the last ones to leave if you are the last in. And that would be a normal expectation. It's unacceptable when you are the first in. Two stars are for the venue and drink service. Zero stars for parking. Will we return? Maybe if the headliner is super amazing and there's a clear indicator that this situation has been mitigated. But if we're seeking an outdoor venue Chateau St. Michelle is the clear choice. We have a limited entertainment budget and choose to spend our money at a venue that respects our time and ensures that we are granted an easy exit. This parking situation is a big deterrent from an otherwise, good venue. We shouldn't feel trapped and panicked after a fun night. I hope management sees this and makes much needed improvements. Until then, we'll seek out other venues first.

My hubs and I went blueberry picking for the first time this summer. Don't know why we waited so…read morelong to do this. It's fun, you don't have to bend over like with strawberry picking, and you can get pounds of berries for a lot less than the grocery store. I first heard about Mountainview Blueberry Farm from my aesthetician who enjoyed picking there with her kids. So, in mid-August on a Thursday, we got there around 10:30am. You pick up a pail or bucket and a staff member points you to the field area to pick. The blueberry varietal for that day was Concord. The berries are small to medium but have a wonderful, deep blueberry flavor. It took us about 90 minutes to pick almost three pounds. We were charged $3.45/pound. We enjoyed eating a bunch of berries raw that evening and I baked a batch of blueberry muffins that turned out delicious! Then a few days later, we made freezer jam from the rest and OMG, it was like the elixir of the gods. Wow. So good! A week later we went back to Mountainview to pick more. This time we went on a Friday and got there around 11:15am. That day, the varietals were Concord and Blue Ray. We were better at picking our second time and picked four pounds in about 50 minutes. Again, we took them home, ate a bunch raw, and then a few days later, turned the rest of the berries into freezer jam. This elixir of the gods was EVEN BETTER than the first batch because the two varietals together created a wonderful, unique flavor. We were delighted! My hubs and I are now fans of blueberry picking and want to return every summer. Thank you, Mountainview Farm! Sunflower festival and u-pick blueberries with an 18 month old!…read more We purchase 2 adult sunflower admissions tickets and one butterfly release ticket and it totaled around $50. The sunflower area was really cute, we chose not to take any flowers home with us but we enjoyed all of the photo props and areas. They had face painting vendor but we didn't try it out. We enjoyed the butterfly release! My son really loved seeing the butterflies! This was a ticket we bought separately from admission but we thought it was fun. You can also just watch the butterflies without buying a ticket. For the price i thought it was kind expensive for what was available but all in all, I don't mind supporting the farm. It's very laid back and more bare bones than other farms we've been to. U-pick blueberry is free admission and so is the area where you can get blueberry lemonade and ice cream. They have a store with some of their goods like blueberry syrup and jam. They don't sell already picked blueberries so you have to make sure to bring your blueberry picking energy. They have buckets you can use.
