We ordered a Banh Mi sandwich which was one of the best I've had. The vegetables were pickled In House and were Awesome, really made the sandwich in my opinion. The bread was from a local bakery, soft and airy....Soooo good. My daughter ordered Crispy Rice which was flavorful and fresh. The owner was friendly and interacted with her customers as they were family. I highly recommend this place and yes I will definitely be back.

You're gonna go into Seaside and go to the counter and say I want the classic Cardiff crack sandwich, which will feed at least two people and maybe a kid beside. Then you gotta go down and lock the chip aisle and get your favorite chips. Maybe a nice bottle of wine check out go home and eat! When we first moved down here, I wasn't a huge fan of Cardiff crack, but I've become to look forward to every chance I get to have it. I know why it's a legend, so if you're in the neighborhood, stop and get it.

That said, I've noticed a few things lately that have made it a little harder to shop here, especially as the store seems to be getting busier and busier. The biggest challenge has honestly been the crowds. It feels like the popularity of the market has really grown, which is great to see, but it can make the experience a little overwhelming. I also think it may be worth considering a larger location at some point. Parking can be incredibly difficult, especially if you have a larger vehicle, and getting in and out can sometimes be a challenge. I also recently had an unfortunate experience with a few items I purchased. The girl who helped me at the register was very kind and bagged the majority of my items, but a couple of smaller items were left outside of the bag. I was in a rush and completely forgot to grab them before I left, even though I had already paid for everything. I realized it later and called the store to explain what happened. They were kind enough to put my name on a bag and hold the items for me, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, when I came back later that week to pick them up, the items couldn't be found. It seemed like there was some miscommunication between the staff, which was really disappointing because I had specifically called ahead and was told they would be held for me. I completely understand that things can get misplaced, especially in a busy store, but it was frustrating knowing that I had already paid for the items and had made a trip back specifically to retrieve them. I also didn't have my receipt anymore because I had assumed everything had been placed in my bag, which I realize was ultimately my mistake. It's definitely something I won't let happen again. What was disappointing was that, even though the staff remembered me coming in previously, the items ultimately weren't replaced or resolved. I understand that mistakes happen, but I think this could have been handled a little better. Even with these issues, I still genuinely love Seaside Market and want to see it continue to do well. I know that growing crowds and increased popularity can create challenges, but I do think there are opportunities to improve the overall customer experience, especially when it comes to parking, managing the crowds, and communication between team members. The prices have definitely been climbing, and with the store becoming busier, it's getting a little harder to visit than it used to be. Still, there's a reason I've been coming here for years, and I'll continue to support the market. I just hope they're able to find ways to make the experience a little easier as the business continues to grow.

Their freshly baked cookies are pretty fantastic too! They also have a variety of frozen items you can take home and heat up yourself, including pies, breads, and more. Their menu is pretty simple. We went for breakfast, I had the avocado toast and added eggs. It was so refreshing, especially with the balsamic on top. My husband got two of their quiches, and we split a cinnamon roll. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious, and it's such a great option if you're limited to a gluten-free diet. The staff is also very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I really wanted to like this place, but I left feeling pretty disappointed. One of the items that…read morecaught my eye was the "4-inch quiche" for $10. Based on the description, I expected an individual round quiche that was approximately 4 inches in diameter. Instead, I received a relatively small slice cut from a larger quiche, which was nowhere near what I would consider a 4-inch quiche. It essentially looked like a small little cake slice. They also don't display the quiche, instead they hide the quiche in the back so it just kinda feels deceptive. To make matters worse, the quiche itself was somewhat dry. For $10, I expected a 4" quiche and a better overall experience. I was genuinely excited to try this place and had high hopes, which made the experience even more disappointing. Hopefully the description can be clarified so future customers know exactly what they're ordering.

LOL. No but seriously, I am completely and utterly in-love with this place. I am a huge sandwich person but so I am particular about where I go. Has to ya know, check alllll the boxes etc. Ernie's has stolen my sammy-heart. I believe I've had every single sandwich on the menu at this point and I enjoyed every single one of them. If I HAD to choose my favorite sandwich, they would be these: -Italian on Dutch crunch roll -Crispy chicken caesar on Dutch crunch roll -Curry chicken salad on focaccia -Tuna on sourdough ( always add the hot pepper salad) *I love the dutch crunch roll for any of the sandwiches but the focaccia also steals the show quite often. I've been here for dinner as well and my recommendations would be: -Charcuterie board -Bruschetta boards ( you pick 2) but my faves are the prosciutto one (the prosciutto is chopped up super small so it's perfect and not all stringy like it can be at times) which comes with mascarpone, pistachios, arugula and lemon curd. My other fave is the brie, green apple with honey and sea salt. Another thing to mention is I'm not a huge brie person BUT I adore it if it's triple cream brie. This my friends, is triple cream so it's fantastic. -The fries are also fantastic and the chocolate chip cookies are fire. I'm not even a sweets person but I inhaled it when I tried it. It was delish. -Italian chopped salad- so good and really light but somehow filling at the same time. In the best way possible. I get it all the time. They have a huge wine selection both at the bar and in their fridge section which you can browse while you're in line. They have a wine club as well! I always love a more local mom n pop type place in general vs chains and this place is just a vibe no matter what time of day you go. The word is definitely out though so it can get busy so cozy up at the bar for a cold one while you wait if you run thirsty like me, ha! Or they have plenty of outdoor seating if you want a ni ce breeze. The owner is rad, the entire staff is sweet, accommodating and overall they just absolutely nailed it here. Go see what all the hype is about, you'll leave with a full belly and a smile.

It was a late afternoon lunch, and we sat at the counter both times. I ordered the Turkey club and just had water. She had a different sandwich and a glass of wine. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. And she enjoyed her wine. We have enjoyed all the wines we've tried. The Dutch crunch was close to what I remember eating whilst growing up in Northern California. We both agreed we'd come back and try more menu items and wines.
